They took care of pulling permits with the District (didn't even realize that was required), and sent an inspector out after the work was done to make sure everything was installed properly (again, apparently required for the permits). Someone called me periodically to convey information very clearly and professionally (i.e., when the work was scheduled, when it was done, etc.). Overall, I'd definitely recommend them to anyone installing an EV charger.

I did get there early and park and use a ride share to get to Alexandria for dinner. Parking was free because I signed up for the membership that is free, and in my profile settings I listed my make and model with license plate. The emails sent before the event were packed with useful information to help you navigate your evening, and the time leading up to the event. The property is very clean, and well organized. Same for the mini fridge, move any item in there and you will be charged AND you can't store any of your items in it or you will charged. We asked for a mini fridge to be delivered to our room (additional charge, but we were staying for the festival and it was proved complimentary). The hotel had a food court with vendors selling breakfast, sushi, pizza, seafood, and burgers. They have a variety store selling snacks, drinks, merch, and sundries and they also have a few high end stores. They also have a Shake Shack, steakhouse, an Italian restaurant, bakery, a Mexican restaurant, and The Taphouse restaurant on the casino floor that sells some GOOD wings and other American fare. The casino floor is large and had an assortment of games. They have a couple of bar lounges as well featuring live music. The venue has event space, where our concerts were held, and also a larger concert area featuring major acts. They also offer a free shuttle for hotel guests that take you to the Tanger Outlet ( a short drive or 15 min walk away) or to National Harbor to visit other shops and eateries. All in all, MGM National Harbor is a great location for a staycation in the area.

That was new for me as I have never really seen something like that despite temperature being close to 50F, my car being the only one at the charger, and the battery was pre-conditioned ahead of time. I wouldn't mind using this location again in the future especially because it's surrounded by restaurants and small shops like Royal Farms to kill time. A 4/5 stars too if it wasn't for the trash management issues and the slowness.
