I walked in to just sit on the Sportster to make sure it was what I wanted. Bob came over and walked us through the different models and made this first time rider feel so comfortable. I ended up purchasing the bike. We drove two hours to the dealership and had our two young kids and since we weren't prepared to drive it home that day they ended up delivering it to us. The customer service is absolutely above and beyond and when I'm ready to purchase my next bike I'll absolutely be back. I can't say enough good things about this dealership.

Exposed wires found under my seat after hand controls were grounded out. See my review for details

This dealer is shady and can't be trusted. I bought a 13 street bob from these unprofessional thieves. Had I known how bad they were I would've stayed away. 4 months after I purchased the bike I was out riding and got caught in some rain. The next day I was riding and as I was in a low speed turn and the bike cut off. I didnt have enough momentum to stand the bike upright out if the turn so I had to jump off it and watch it fall. Minimal damage just some rash to my exhaust. I tried to run thru the reset for tip over procedures and nothing would work. So I pulled the seat off to inspect the battery and pull the fuse box cover and right there plain as day is EXPOSED wires. I had the bike picked up by Colonial HD and they found 3 more exposed further down and determined the exposed wires had grounded out my hand controls. Now this was covered by my extended warranty via my 50 dollar deductible. So me being as pissed off as I was I called HD Corporate and filed a complaint on these incompetent dirtbags who could've actually got me killed. I get a call from Don from the service department and starts off nice. I tell him the entire story and he immediately places the blame on Stonewall HD who inspected it before it was sent to them and added to their inventory. I tell him replacing the heat shields on my short shots would be nice and to refund my deductible. He says he needs to speak to the director. I told him to give me a call back the following week and if I didn't hear from him I would call Corporate back. Well no call from him ever happened until I called corporate again. He tells me they will NOT replace the heat shields. This director/owner didn't even have the common decency to pay for my deductible. They said they are NOT responsible for the condition of the bike before and after the incedent. This business sold this motorcycle but refuses to own their negligence. As an Active Duty service member I can't stress Veterans and other Yelpers enough to stay away from these substandard folks, they only care about profit not the consumer.

Very much to the contrary of other reviewers who had to write a book on their negative experience with the service department at Quantico H. D. the times I had my bike in for warranty work was anything but negative, every time it was either the dept. supervisor or the technician would call me to keep me updated on the progress with my bike. I live just outside of fairfax city and with a dealership just down the road because of their ripping me off for $498.84, warranty work THEY said wasn't covered I wouldn't go to them for air for a tire. Last time I picked my bike up from Quantico H. D. It looked almost cleaner than any time I washed it and Kevin came out to me and told me I was good to go, no deductible or any cost to me. It's always a pleasure dealing with a friendly honest dealership especially when it involves warranty work.

Most of the other bike shops I stepped foot in managed to mansplain me right back out the door. Laurel was patient and helpful as I tried on literally every pair of pants (men and women) in the showroom. The crew there was also super gracious in helping me with some basic questions about my new bike. Love my new riding pants and gloves. Really looking forward to coming back to take a basic maintenance class, learn more about fixing my bike up myself, and meeting more riders.

It's also a great place to learn more about your machine, make repairs, and customize. Gear selection is limited to make finding what you want easy. The shop is very spacious to keep the space feeling more like a hangout than a warehouse for merchandise. A lot of the brands are not distributed by any other brick and mortar shop in the area (Saint comes to mind), and all are high quality and stuff you would actually buy. There is also a selection of supplies, which is targeted for members if the motorcycle club. They stock 15-50 boxer oil which is hard to find to support the boxer owners that are members. This evolving support is part of what makes membership valuable. Which brings us to membership. Half of the space is a members only garage which is available by signing up for one of a few membership tiers. Dues vary with access: higher tiers cost more and give you more time to make use if the garage space, use the wide assortment of shop tools, and in a few cases give access to specialized machinery. Classes that are made available to the public are offered to members at a discounted rate. It's common for 2-3 different projects being worked on, and collaboration is natural. The DC moto scene is small but welcoming, and Dunn Lewis is definitely a good place to connect. They offer events and rides that are available for anyone, and it would be hard not to get involved with DC moto clubs like dirt church if you hang around the shop. Mason and Laurel who run the shop are always available for tips on what's happening around the city and are a huge part of what make DLMC worth supporting. There's also great food and bars on the same block. Worth mentioning. As far as what could be better: it's a new space and features are growing. So if it doesn't have everything you need, you might have to wait for them to bring it in. But you only need to make the suggestion and it's something you'll probably see in the future. All moto and scooter riders are welcome. More than worth a look.

I am SO sorry for the long paragraph review but I just had to let it be KNOWN!!…read more I had an extremely frustrating experience with this dealership's SERVICE department (FALLS CHURCH), and I would not recommend them based on how they are handling my situation. On Saturday March 21, 2026, I brought my 2026 Kawasaki zx6r in for a recall service. Towards the end of the day, I had not been contacted AT ALL and had to go into the service department myself! Just to have them inform me that my recall had been finished much earlier BUT ALSO that their technician had dropped my motorcycle. While I appreciated that they agreed to replace the damaged fairings, everything that followed was handled very poorly. I brought my bike back on Saturday April 18, 2026, to have the replacement parts installed. I was told it would likely be finished the same day. During this appointment, once again I was not contacted and had to telephone them on the status. Apparently, the service department had ordered the wrong-colored part. Luckily, the correct part was available at the other location in Woodbridge, and they planned to send someone to pick it up, but the repair would not be completed until Monday. While I initially understood the delay, I was disappointed by the lack of preparation and communication. Then Monday, April 20, 2026, that turned out to be false because the technician assigned to my bike wasn't even there that day. I didn't find out about this until I had PHYSICALLY gone to service because AGAIN NO ONE WAS CONTACTING ME WITH ANY UPDATE! So I had no idea if anyone even went out to Woodbridge to pick up the part-- like they said they would. One of the service workers let me know that my bike would probably be finished tomorrow which was a Tuesday and that they would give me a CALL IF ANYTHING COMES UP. At this point I've started to become quite frustrated. On Tuesday April 21, 2026, I came in with my boyfriend who needed something from parts, while I was there I decided to stop by service after receiving ZERO communication ALL DAY even though the guys said they would start contacting if ANYTHING. I doubt my bike was even finish but I thought it was worth a try. I was told my bike was already being worked on and would be done soon, so I decided to wait. After about 30 minutes, I found out through an employee that my bike had not even been started yet--and that there was no chance it would be finished that day because it takes 3 HOURS to put on a piece. I was LIED to and given false hope! TODAY is Wednesday April 22, 2026, I still have not received a single text, call, or email with any update on my motorcycle--whether it's being worked on or even finished. This is after being told multiple times that work was already in progress. I'm annoyed with having to physically go in and demand answers and then getting lied to straight in my face. I didn't WANT to be a Karen but now I FEEL like a Karen. I just really want my bike, answers, communication, and these ridiculous delays to stop! At this point, the lack of communication is completely unacceptable. A simple update takes seconds, yet I've had to repeatedly chase down basic information myself. It feels like customers are left completely in the dark unless they physically show up or call. This was my first time using a ANY kinda of dealership for service, since I did most of everything else at home and it was only because of a recall. Unfortunately, this experience has completely destroyed my trust in their service department and I will never come back to this location for any kind of service and will be continuing with Woodbridge if anything were to ever come up. I would strongly warn others to be cautious.

When I spoke with their service department, they agreed to take care of it for me.. no apology or anything about the extra time out of my week to get to and from their shop. I should have bailed right then and there. Fast forward a few years. Nothing but issues for a bike I took excellent care of and only put a grand total of 1000 miles on. I won't get into too many details here, but they kept the bike for a little over 3 months this last spring, " trying" to resolve an issue I was having with the bike struggling to start and not running correctly when it did start. After three months I complained to the owner about the absurd bill I got after his team of " professional Triumph techs" could not figure out anything and just started throwing random parts at it. To be clear, there were 3 error codes... After 90 days they didn't even mention any of those codes! The owner did right by me in terms of having them remove most of the fees they tacked on for their bull$!#@ work. It was super irritating that I was still out a couple hundred bucks for an intake snorkel (What the actual F?) and spark plugs (which I had also just replaced one day before leaving it with them) The real final coffin nail for me was that the final call from the service guy was unacceptable and infuriating: "Given enough time, we probably could figure it out, but we just don't have time to deal with your bike right now". I have never been more angry or disappointed by a business. I essentially just threw 10K+ into a fire. I will never purchase a bike here again and I will instruct everyone I encounter to avoid them for bike purchases and especially repairs.
