I received a very friendly call from James Miller asking if I was interested in the SUV and scheduled my appt for 2 hours later. About 15 minutes after I set my appt, I received a call from the Customer Experience Manager - Michael Moses confirming the appointment and making sure I knew the address. Before arriving, James sent me a video confirming that the car was indeed still there and showing me some of the features. While parking, a sales rep walked up to and I informed him that I had an appt with James. He grabbed him immediately. James came over and introduced himself to my dad and me. He is probably the friendliest and most energetic salesman I've ever encountered. He gave us a walk around of the car and then we did a test drive. The process from there flowed down smoothly. While completing paperwork, I was able to meet Michael Moses and the financial specialist Janet. They all very just so welcoming, encouraging, and just so friendly. They took away all my anxiety and after only 2 hours there, I was driving off with my newer car. I absolutely love my purchase and will always do business here in the future! I have been a customer to Honda of Woodbridge on route 1, since I have two Honda s. In the passed…read more, I used to buy the parts and go there to install it. I do my research and figure out what is wrong with my Honda s and buy the parts and go there to install it on things that it needs computer programing. In the passed I used this location to install the main computer (Electronic Control Module ECM) on and fuses box on my CRV. I got charge around $450 each time I went there. Recently, I had a problem with the Body Control Modules (BCM) on my 2017 Honda CRV, it keep my car on all the time. So I bought the BCM and went there. As usual. the repair representative told me to check to see what is wrong there is $185 if you want the work to be done this will not be charged, only if you don't want the work to be done you pay $185. The parts cost at Honda's is $550. So he came back with a list of multiple things that my car needs, the total was over $5000 dollars. repairing the BCM cost of $1600, oil change $200, oil transmission change/ flush $350, back axial oil flush and other things considered as maintenance. I told him, I am only interested in installing the BCM. I have it in my car and how much you going to charge me to install it. He looked at the computer and he said $850. For people who doesn't know, this module, needs Honda computer to program, mostly entering the car VIN number and reprogram the remotes. and maybe there is small other adjustment, it all will take 15 min to install because it is right behind the glove compartment. I said why that much. he said that what we do charge for things like that. I said, I am your customer and I been here for few times, and I know how much your charge. he said that Ourisman bought this dealership and things changed since then and that what they charge, and he said I also took the $185 off. I told him, well the $185 comes to play if i don't want the work to be done. I told him see what can you do. , he said okay I am going to bring it down to $740. i told him still too much for job like this, all work including programing wont take more then 30 min and there is no parts to be replaced. He said This is the best I can do. I told him go see the manager, that too much money for this kind of job. His supervisor came and looked at the computer for over 5 min doing anything, and said well, I can't do anything this is the price. At that point I had no choice except to fix it and pay the $740. In like 30 min he came back and said the car is ready. I said I need also the list of stuff that you said I needs for my car. He said I cant give it to you. I asked why he said management wont allow me to give it to you. He said it is $829. I said but you said it is $740 he said there is a $75 additional as "shop material". He said we charge this to all repair jobs. I gave him my credit card and run it and here I see additional $28 dollars add it to my total, under "Other charges". so the total was around $860. Now if he told me there is additional charge if you use credit card I would of give him my bank card instead but he never said anything to me. At the end I told him I am not happy on how you guys doing business and will not come back to your location. He asked me please do not post a bad review because that hurt me very bad. I said i promised. So my advise to my friends and neighbors not to go to Ourisman Honda of Woodbridge. and if you do they will cheat, scam, or overcharge you for sure.
