I searched for a local tint company. I had called two companies and Ceasar got right back to me after I left a message. We arranged an appointment for the next morning and I dropped it off. It was done within two hours and it looks beautiful.! He has sample glass so that you can see the different shades of tint options. Ceasar was very nice and has a great small business space. I'm planning on bringing my Miata to him next! Definitely recommend. read more

Was looking for a place to get my Subaru tinted. Called this place up and Cesar was able to take me in the very next day. Answered all my questions right on the spot and helped me decide what tint would be best for my car. I ended up going with 35% in the front and 20% over the frosted windows in the back bringing it to a 5%. I was worried it would be too dark to see at night and he assured me it wouldn't. And he was absolutely correct. Bonus of still being able to see out day and night with the privacy of not being able to see in at all! My biggest hesitation was coming to a smaller shop that's not "as well known" in the area, but even though Cesar is just a one man show, he did an amazing job and really takes pride in his work. I even had a small imperfection on the driver side window, called him up, and he told me to come back that same day a few hours later so he could redo that window. He really stands by his lifetime warranty and ensures customer satisfaction. Overall, I am very impressed with his work, he was able to give me a really good deal, and he managed to do the whole job in less than 2 hours! Definitely will be coming back to this place in the future. If you're looking for a tint place in the DMV area, I strongly recommend coming here to Exceptional Tint! read more

Cesar is a true master of his craft--super professional, takes his time do do great work, and always makes sure you're a happy customer. I'm super picky about my car, and his craftsmanship is top-notch. Seriously, if you want quality at a fair price, don't bother wasting your time anywhere else! PS: I was recommended to him by a friend who solely drives prized exotics (horses, bulls, bulldogs), so you're in great hands in the event your prized possession costs a few bucks. read more

I sought Cesar for the tinting of my PriusV per his good ratings on here. He was professional, clear and polite on the phone when I called for an appointment. He was right on time to our 8:30am appt on a Sunday! We had a pleasant conversation as I observed his work. He is skillful and meticulous in his work. The tint came out beautifully. It took a few days for the bubbles in the tint to disappear (Cesar informed me of this). However after a week a small water bubble (5mm) remained in one of the windows and Cesar asked me to bring it back. Cesar inspected all the windows and discovered two tiny bust dimples that I can hardly see after he pointed out to him. He decided to redo three windows bc he was not happy with how they turned out. I am a fastidious person and have low tolerance for imperfections but was willing to live with these dust dimples. Cesar's insistence on redoing them showed me his tremendous work ethics as a young professional. I have already recommended Cesar to two strangers who asked about my tint at gas stations. I will continue to endorse his great work!! (Btw..I have been lazy to sign up for a Yelp account. I took time to sign up and write this review bc Cesar deserves the kudo for his effort) read more

I got my Suzuki aerio tinted here with solar gard. Cesar did the job on my car and the quality was very good. Got 50 on the front and 35 on the side and rear. The job just took less than 2 hours. I think this is a new business and you should definitely check this out. The service is the cheapest around. Yes, cheaper than TNT tint next door. Cesar is a one man shop guy. His work is highly recommended. i have those small windows on the front and the rear of the car and that was also tinted. The car feels a lot cooler in the sun and also the sunlight is far less stinging on your skin. it cost me 60$ less than the other place for four door hatchback. read more

I originally called and made an appointment to tint my entire car. When I got to the site, Cesar recommended that I leave the factory tint on the back windows and helped me match the front windows to the factory tint. I was in-and-out in 45 minutes. Cesar did an exceptional job with the tints and was honest in the opinion he provided. I will definitely be going back to him for future tints. Highly recommended! read more

Gave Cesar a ring this morning and he was able to see me 30 minutes later. Cesar is a professional who clearly cares about his customers. Terrible quality. Ceasar claimed lifetime guarantee but when it bubbled in 4 days on every single window he said it would be lost profit to do it again. So he just removed the tint. And he didn't even remove all of it so I had to come back a final time. read more

Cesar was recommended to me by my car dealership for our new SUV. He did the 2 front driver and passenger windows to match the back windows, and it was matched perfectly. I had an appt. for this past Saturday, July 2nd. I confirmed the day before, making sure that my 1pm appt was still a go. I drive to Exceptional Tint and found it strange there was no car and the back garage was locked up. I tried calling numerous times & tried to leave a voicemail but the mailbox was full and I couldn't. One of the times I tried calling him, he was on the other line. I then tried to text him and then following up by knocking on the door (side and back) several times of the house. As of now I have not gotten a response or an apology for why he wasn't there for my appt after taking the time to drive to this location. read more

I've had a fantastic experience dealing with Exceptional tint. Their work is outstanding, never had to go back for retouching, and the price is very reasonable considering the competition. read more

Cesar does top notch work at steal deal prices. You won't find better quality work within a 100 mile radius. The set and setting may be a bit "unconventional" but don't let that keep you from using Exceptional Tint for your next car. Will recommend. Will use again. Keep it up! read more

Did a great job with my window tint for my Mercedes and matched the factory tint perfectly. Caesar, booked my appointment for a Saturday and had the work completed within an hour. Just got back from Cesar at Exceptional Tint. He is fast and professional and has great rates. I called around 10am asking if the work can be completed that day. Cesar adjusted his schedule, took my car at 11am and completed the work within 2 hours. His pricing is on par with the other shops I called. He was extremely courteous and patient answering all the questions on my admittedly OCD list. The work looked fabulous. If there are any future issues with the tint I am confident he will gladly repair them. read more

I called these guys after having to cancel another appointment the same morning at another tint shop. Cesar was very personable and realistic about getting my car in the same day. When I arrived, he went over my tint options with me and even cautioned me against getting an illegal tint level (never happened before). He quoted me two and a half hours and was well under that. Reasonable price on the tint and very friendly atmosphere. read more

I had heard Cesar did a fabulous job on previous tint jobs. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to use him because on our scheduled appointment day, he didn't show up for our 9:15 a.m. appointment because his phone had died and therefore his alarm clock didn't wake him up. By the time he called me at 11:00 a.m., I had found another place that actually took me the same day (ended up driving straight from Cesar's to their place) and they did a fabulous job. read more

Cesar was great! I waited while he did the job. He completed it in the time estimate he gave me when I arrived. Also, he answered all the questions I had for him. I have a 2006 Acura TL and just had my tints of (20%) removed due to state inspections. After a few days going without tinting, I hated it so, I decided to get my tints back. I was in the area and used Yelp to call Cesar around 11am for a same day appointment time of 1pm. Went there a little early and was greeted by him (its nested under MBA Auto Shop - a little hard to find) and he came out to see that the interior of my car was light enough to recommend 20%. I agreed. There is a nice waiting room area with electric sockets and cable tv. Waited about 2 hours and told me I was done. He did a meticulous job and very trustworthy. I think he is just starting so he is also very hard working. Highly recommend. read more

Cesar did a great job. I had all of the glass on my VW tinted for reasonable sum, and it was completed on the same day that I initially called. I was a bit concerned at first because the tint at first looked a bit hazy but after about 24 hours it dried to a crystal clear view. I am taking my other car to him as well to have the sunroof tinted. As others have noted, Cesar now works out of a garage just off of U.S. 1 on Raymond Ave in Del Ray. read more

At first I was skeptical about getting my tint worked on by one guy in a garage on the back of someone's residential property, but Cesar did a great job and was pleasantly conversational while doing so. He apparently worked at several tint shops growing up and struck out on his own with Exceptional Tint. This is a very small business - don't expect a waiting room or a Nespresso machine - but what Cesar lacks in amenities at his garage, he makes up for with attention to detail and great proficiency. I paid $40 to get one window redone - my one window's tint was getting bubbles - on the same day I called. Yes, you have to call to check availability/make an appointment. I was in and out in an hour and my window looks perfect. Would go back for the any other tint needs. read more

I chose exceptional tint because of its many positive reviews. I wish I could say my experience was positive, but it was not. I had purchased my new car with only 9 miles on it only two weeks earlier. As I inspected the tint after it was applied, I noticed that the Cesar had inadvertently melted the pillar trim near my rear window with the dryer he used to install the tint. He immediately took responsibility for it, apologized, and said that he would order and install replacement trim. Although I was very upset to have my new car damaged, I accepted his offer to fix the problem. Subsequent to this, I also observed that all seven of the tinted windows had air bubbles and dirt specks under the tint. I notified him of this fact. I returned a little more than a week later to have the tint fixed, and the melted trim replaced. Two results from that second visit...First, although the melted piece of trim was replaced, there was new damage done to my new car. Specifically, the window was scratched, and an adjacent piece of trim had several nicks in it. It appeared as though the edge of the trim had been used as a lever for the tool used to replace the melted trim. Unfortunately, this time it was not a trim that can be easily replaced, and there is nothing I can do about the scratched glass. Second, the newly applied tint again had a large number of air bubbles in it. So, the end result is that I spent almost $200 and more than five hours of my time for poorly applied tint with air bubbles in it, and permanent damage to my new car. To say that I am upset and disappointed would be an understatement. read more
