CARSTAR Champion Body Works - A Cut Above! I rarely leave…read morereviews (my last one was back in 2023!), but my recent experience at CARSTAR Champion Body Works in Lorton truly compelled me to share. They had just done a perfect job repairing our car, only for it to get hit again just days later--while innocently parked, no less. My wife was absolutely heartbroken, and honestly, I was beyond frustrated bringing it back in, unsure if anything could even be done. That's when I met Graham. From the moment he greeted me, his calm, reassuring manner and genuine professionalism made an instant, huge impression. He didn't just assess the damage; he jumped right in and took care of it on the spot with incredible care and skill. What could have easily been another major headache turned into a moment of real relief, thanks entirely to him. People like Graham are a rare find and truly remind you what exceptional customer service should be. He's a gem! Five stars all day long for CARSTAR Champion Body Works and especially for Graham!

The checkin process was quick and my rental car was delivered to the repair shop which was so convenient. Once my car was done the rental drop off was the same. Very convenient. It was literally a one stop shop... they did all the heavy lifting... literally. There was a little delay on the part which was not unusual but the repair tech made it clear he tried to find the best price and soonest delivery. I appreciated the professionalism of the entire staff. A++

This was my first time using this shop personally, as well as my first experience with an…read moreinsurance-preferred repair facility--and it will be my last. My vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run. I chose this shop because, when it was previously Service King, my mother had positive experiences, and my auto insurance recommended this location due to its proximity to my home. When I initially picked up my vehicle, it looked great. Several weeks later, while hand-washing the vehicle as recommended after repairs, I noticed the clear coat peeling on the repaired bumper. I returned to the shop, where the General Manager attempted a repair and stated he had "never seen anything like this." Fast forward to the present--while washing my vehicle again, I noticed additional areas where the clear coat is bubbling, and on the side where repairs were performed, the clear coat is now chipping away. I brought the vehicle back to the shop, only for the General Manager to essentially throw his hands up at the situation. He claimed the damage was caused by rock impacts; however, there is no visible impact damage in these areas. I've had multiple vehicles repaired over the years at body shops of my choosing and have never experienced an issue that required repeat visits--nor have I ever had a shop fail to restore a vehicle to its pre-loss condition as promised. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. If you value quality repairs and accountability, go elsewhere

I recently had service done here on my 2023 Jeep Wrangler. The original issue I brought my vehicle…read morein for was eventually repaired, although it took a little over a month to get everything completed. However, upon receiving my vehicle back, I immediately noticed scratch marks on all three removable soft-top window panels--the rear, left, and right windows. It literally looks like someone took a pen and scratched all over the surface of the plastic. These damages were NOT there when I brought my vehicle in. I came back and brought the damage to their attention, but they refused to take accountability for it. This is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I trusted this shop with my vehicle, and I expected it to be returned to me in the same condition I brought it in. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO COME TO THIS SHOP. BEWARE!!! YOUR VEHICLE MAY BE DAMAGED WHILE IT IS HERE BEING REPAIRED. To make matters worse, I initially thought one of the workers had left my keys inside the vehicle. I drove up the street to get gas and realized the keys were not in the Jeep. I eventually discovered that the keys had been left ON THE HOOD OF MY VEHICLE. I had literally been driving around with my keys sitting on the hood. I have now filed another complaint with my insurance regarding these NEW damages, but it appears I may have to pay out of pocket to have the windows repaired or replaced. These scratches have made my Jeep look significantly more worn out and several years older. The windows now look absolutely hideous, and this damage should never have happened in the first place. I strongly recommend taking pictures and documenting the condition of your vehicle BEFORE leaving it at this shop. I certainly wish I had known I would need to do that. Update**** I recently found out they tried to fix my car with tape, this is ridiculous, this place needs to be shut down honestly. I've been stressed out getting my windows fixed because of this place and now I have to deal with this.
