Took my car in no going to lie I liked how my windows came out tinted EXCEPT the front window. Where my inspection sticker goes he left a crooked cut even after I said it was ok for him to leave a square cute and not remove the sticker. What do they do? TRY TO REMOVE THE STICKER and they failed and peeled it off ugly. I told them I didn't like that even though they were given the okay for the stupid square cut and he was like oh ok I'll fix it... see the picture. They did the tint on my 90 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, bout 2 years ago. I paid $400 or so for the ceramic tint to be done. The rear window wasnt done very well so i had them redo it which wasnt an issue with them. I noticed after they redid it the windows color was off from the others but not too much. Well 1-2 years later its now turning purple. which means the rear window they redid was done with the cheap tint. They wont respond to my emails or call me. The one time they did respond is when i acted like someone else. They know me and my Jeep. They dont want to redo the window again, well i have a life time warranty and if you guys did it right the first time, or use the ceramic tint i paid for the 2nd time we wouldnt be having this issue. They also refused to show me the brand of tints they were using when i asked when i originally had it done. My brother also had his tint done here.. same tint it hasnt changed color and both vehicles sit in the same spots so they both get exposed to the same sun. Which means my tint wasnt the ceramic when they did it again. If you guys at NC tint are seeing this message.. Either fix my window with the right tint.. Or please just give me a partial refund. Which i believe is $80 for rear windows correct ? So i can have this done right somewhere else. I am a patient man, but my patience is running thin. Made an in person appointment for 11am a week ago. Hours for Saturday are posted on the window of the establishment as 9am to 5pm. The place was closed at 11:00 and no one answered the phone or email. Two other customers where there waiting. One drove up from Stafford, VA! The other had an appointment on Friday and he was stood up. We all waited until 11:15am and as I was leaving in my car, I noticed the owner (Charles) came out. I pulled up and asked if they were going to do the work or not. He said he had a family emergency and wouldn't be able to help until Monday. The problem here is that he told me last week he wouldn't be there anyway, but his employees would. Apparently they're not. I discounted the reviews here on Google which warned N.C. Tint doesn't show up and can't be reached. Guess I shouldn't have. Oh well, too bad for N.C. Tint because I had 3 other vehicles to do after this one. I had my SUV tinted darker on the side rear windows and a fresh tint on my front side windows. He was able to match it perfectly. He said it would take 1.5 hours and he was on time. Manager treats appointments / hours as optional--don't waste your time. I visited the shop last Sunday to check the place out and make an appointment to have my car windows tinted. We set a 9am Thursday appointment--the manager requested that time as he said the shop would be slow. I arrived on time but the store was closed--no answer on the phone either. I sent an e-mail to the manager and didn't get a reply until 1039am. By then, I'd already gone over to Potomac Mills and asked if I could bring the car in around 1pm and have it done by 230pm. He said no because it'd take longer, but offered to "drop" the standard price to $250 for the ceramic tint--if I couldn't leave my car, he suggested I make an appointment for 1000am tomorrow. $250 is the price we'd agreed to when I made the appointment--and its posted in the store as their standard price! I pointed that out and said maybe it was for the best that they missed the appointment. A discount is nice, but I felt like they might have been trying to take advantage of me and was already unhappy that they'd missed the appointment. He replied that they'd do it for $200 and I could come in anytime. Despite my better judgment, I tried again to get it done today and went by the store. I arrived at 330pm and was told that I should make an appointment for tomorrow or the weekend. I took today off and am not going to make another appointment and take another day off when your behavior makes me think I can't trust you not to blow that one off too. In any case, he said that he couldn't make a commitment about when it would be done--just "sometime this evening." Note that they'd be closing in 90 minutes... So, a wasted day and no deal. I let him know I'd be writing this review--its really important to him that I tell you that at this point he offered to lower the price to $180. Here's my bottom line: if you can't trust someone to keep an appointment, if they don't make up for it by working you in (maybe delay someone else's appointment), and they lower the price repeatedly--then are you sure you're getting a quality product installed in a quality manner and that you'll be able to get the car back into their shop if there's a problem, and that they'll stand behind the work? I am a pretty busy person and when I rolled down my windows for the first time, there was a scratch on the driver's side tint. I'm not sure what caused it so I called the guys up. Not impressed. I have had windows tinted in all the cars I've owned since the 90's and in multiple locations around the US. This tint job ranks as the second worst job I've experienced. The film itself may be quality, but it is not 3M nor a name I've heard of. Their are plenty of shade choices and I am pleased with the matching of my factory tint. The guys at the shop are nice and don't waste time. However, the job itself is a little sloppy. I had two cars done on the same day. After the windows cured, one window had an air bubble that did not dissipate. On another car, I noticed one of the tint edges was hazy and looked like it was cut improperly. So, bottom line is only 50% of my windows were done right the first time. I will say the shop is willing to rectify my issues, but they prefer I come in on weekdays. I am too busy for that and still have not found the time. All in all, a VERY mediocre experience. read more

Received a gift from my husband-he advises to call for an appt. I've called a few times and get no answer. Stopped by a few times and the door is loc, even Saturday morning between 10-10:30 am. The door is locked, call again and no answer. I'm glad he can ask the bank for a charge back, and we can go elsewhere.
