They refused service for my Mini, because it is over 10 years old. Unacceptable…read more It is also It is completely unacceptable that MINI USA allows its dealerships to refuse service for vehicles over 10 years old. MINIs are built to last, and many owners take pride in maintaining their cars well beyond that mark. To be turned away simply because of the age of the car -- at an authorized dealership -- shows a lack of commitment to loyal customers and the brand's community. A car's age should not disqualify it from proper service, especially when MINI promotes durability and long-term ownership. MINI USA needs to take responsibility for this policy and ensure that all MINI owners -- regardless of model year -- can count on the dealership network for support.

Today, I took my 2025…read moreVW ID.Buzz and asked the older guy at the front desk if they could add side steps/running boards for safety reasons. Instead of advice on running boards he immediately went into a long sermon about MAGA politics. The front desk guy (not JR, to be fair) right away said how much he dislikes electric vehicles ("What you gonna do with them batteries one day..."). Also said he wasn't aware that VW still made the microbuses. I said mine is right out there and he sneered and said, "kinda hard to miss, ain't it." Things went downhill from there as he started in with his criticisms of government from an extremist Maga viewpoint, that windmill blades are running the planet ("Them Chinese melt down the old blades and dump them in the ocean), how the past presidents have let all of "those people," and so much more. No real help and loads of insults. My advice: look elsewhere for your retrofit needs.

I don't know jack about cars so I went to Advanced Auto Parts and the worker, Angel, was so helpful and patient! He took his time to do the diagnostic and even checked my battery. After fully charging my car started perfectly and he even went so far as to asking if he could recheck it just to be sure.
