My Pathetic Experience with Tesla (Lone Tree - Park Meadows Location) I want to share one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've ever had with Tesla. We had a word with Kevin on Sunday, and he clearly told us that we only needed to pay $250 to block the car -- nothing more. But later, when we were filling out the application, Francis informed us at the end that we'd have to pay $1,700 for the lease. We were never told that upfront. The lack of transparency and communication was shocking. We ended up waiting there for hours -- from 2 PM to almost 6 PM -- while they struggled to figure out the financing details. My lease application was rejected, but later it got approved for finance, and they even asked me to bring a co-signer. Despite that, the whole process was extremely disorganized and stressful. To make things worse, they refused to refund my $250 and told me to call Tesla Insurance myself to get back the $299 refund -- even though I don't even have a car now. It was an unbelievably painful, frustrating, and time-wasting experience. I honestly didn't expect this level of confusion and lack of accountability from Tesla. Beware before you visit the Tesla Lone Tree - Park Meadows location, especially if you're dealing with financing or registration. It's a total nightmare read more

This was the first time I visited a Tesla Dealership. What was extremely unique about this dealership is it was located inside a mall. The salesman was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. If he stays on, continuing things the way he has, this won't be here (if it even is still?) and his reputation in Colorado has definitely been hit hard. He did it to himself... but his investors are not gonna be happy with him soon I don't think. What was the purpose of this? I stopped by Tesla the last week in February while shopping in the mall with my family. The kids immediately loved the Tesla stop, checking out all the car features and buttons. Nico came over to help us, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all of my questions and even anticipated a few I didn't know I should ask. I decided then I would come back to test drive the Model Y a few weeks later after my upcoming work trip. Unfortunately, the blizzard happened and then my partner accidentally packed the other car keys, making getting to my test drive pretty impossible. Nico had been checking in and following up via text message and when I let him know what happened he made a quick decision to make this possible. That's when I really experienced the above and beyond customer service at Tesla. Nico offered to pick me up in the Model Y, so I could at least drive it and see if it was the car for me. I do not live near the mall. So this was way out of the way and incredibly generous. I don't need to go into how great the Model Y was because you should just go test drive one for yourself. By the time I arrived at park meadows, I knew it was the car for me. Their process as far as car applications goes, is by far the quickest and most efficient I've ever experienced. No more spending hours at a dealership, waiting around for someone to negotiate and waste your time. They pulled up the application on the computer, I paid my $100, picked my features and was approved immediately. 15 minutes later, the Tesla was ordered and I was out the door. Everything else I had to do between that moment and pick up of my car was done on my phone via app and website. So EASY! Seriously! Upload insurance, pay down payment all via Tesla site. Simple steps, no confusion. When my car arrived in Denver, I received a text to setup my pickup date and then it was done! I highly recommend this process and this dealership. I've never had a more pleasant car buying experience and the Model Y is equally as impressive. read more

It's 2023 and You never know who has money and who doesn't, I don't understand how employees can't true every person with respect regardless of skin color. When I purchased my car last year, I was told I would receive 1000 free charging miles and I would have one year to use it. I was told half way thru this period that my miles would expire. I contacted the Manager in Littleton Tesla and he agreed to give me a credit of $100 in the merchandise account, but never did this and now is claiming I missed some sort of deadline to request this! Tesla is a Terrible customer service company, wish I had never purchased this car and after 5 letters to Tesla, I have yet to resolve this situation. Who can help me? read more

I've never been to an actual Tesla showroom or dealer. I was surprised to see this inside a mall. They had 4 vehicles for show and they were absolutely beautiful! The model that caught my eye was the Tesla Model X! Omg! I couldn't get my eye off her. She was white with white interior. She had 22" onyx black wheels. What a beauty!! I would have loved to have taken her out for a test drive. At this particular location, you can actually order one for purchase. On 12/02 my wife Sydney and I went to the Park Meadows mall. The Tesla store caught our attention and we became very interested in the model y. Shortly after we both test drove the car and fell in love. The advisor helping us was very helpful and informative. We built my wife a model y and discussed trading in her 4 runner. We both agreed and discussed with our advisor that as long as we received an appropriate amount of money for our trade in, we would gladly buy the Tesla. Our advisor plugged in the 4 runner's vin, mileage and details into the computer. A short time later he revealed the trade in purchase would be $39,000. Sydney and I agreed to this amount and wanted to double check that our breaker box could handle a new outlet to plug the new car into prior to making a deposit. On our way home my wife and I couldn't stop talking about what an amazing car buying experience that was, and we've purchased quite a few cars. Later that night I spoke to an electrician who said the breaker box would be fine and we rushed to place our order. The model y we built and trade in we're not linked to my online tesla account as the advisor said they would be. Therefore we started from scratch. The following day I took photographs of the 4 runner for the trade in process. The 4 runner is immaculate by the way. Soon after we were blindsided with a final trade in offer of $35,200. Almost $4,000 less than the original offer??? For no good reason, the car doesn't have a scratch on it. In fact it has $1500 in upgrades that Tesla had no idea about for the initial offer. Side note, it's also very irritating that the "destination fee" isn't shown until after you make a deposit. Quite the shady way to increase profit if you ask me. One of two things has happened. A mistake was made somewhere along the trade in evaluation process. Or Tesla got our deposit and scammed us on the trade in, dropping the offer a significant amount. I firmly believe Tesla needs to honor the original trade in offer given. It is the right thing to do. This was a huge part of why we agreed to make a deposit to order a new car. This quickly turned from the best car buying experience we've had, to the worst. I feel scammed, taken advantage of and feel that there is a lack of integrity with trade in offers. If Tesla doesn't do what I feel is right, I will never consider buying their cars again, and I've wanted one for a long time. I will gladly spread the word about the lack of integrity and scam they are running to everyone I know. This is extremely disappointing. read more

Very impressed with everyone I talked to here. So knowledgeable about their product and friendly too. We stopped here just for fun, unplanned as we walked from Nordstrom to Macy's, and ended up leaving much smarter about Tesla. I also thought I already wrote a review for here but now don't see it. This place is a non-traditional place to learn about their cars. There is an area on the sides of the store where you can learn about the options. Exterior.colors, interior seat colors and trim options, a large monitor/display where you can learn about the packages. In the main space they had two cars--a Model S (sedan) and Model X (SUV), where you can sit in and check out the cars for comfort, sizing, looks, etc. They swap out the cars too. When we went initially, the Model X was sold so they ended up keeping it locked. But when we stopped in again the one there was available to hop in, etc. They have a really well-informed and personable technical rep Drew. If you want to test drive a car, then they connect you with an owner or ownership specialist, who was Steffan for us. I had a million scenarios I went through and he was patient and very thorough with his answers/responses. What an awesome car! With the federal (7.5k) and state (5k) rebates going on now, they are also closer to being affordable. The fact that it is American made makes me really proud since I've in the past always felt I had no desire to buy an American car (and historically haven't). It's safety rating is top notch. Feeling like a victim with rising gas prices and been wanting to go green in general? And if you think electric cars are more like golf carts you will be blown away with driving a Tesla. The power, along with a smooth and luxurious ride is incredible. But if the price tag still a bit too much, their new model 3 they are working on should be coming out later this year or next, which will have a lower entry point. Check them out if you haven't yet. In the middle of the purchase process right now, so expect to update this review when complete (hopefully for the better). Having a real struggle with my order and getting any sense of what is going on. While the process is supposed to be largely automated through their website, if you have anything that is incorrect on the web it is a pain to get answers and direction and get it fixed. Furthermore, while I've purchased several new cars, this is a different experience and you'd expect at least a minimal level of guidance and some checking in on the process. This has been the WORST experience I've ever had post purchase on a new car. I've tried emailing several different people, calling my sales rep (nothing was fixed after that call) and spending 2 hours on the phone with the general Tesla "contact us" number (over 60 minutes of that was on hold). I feel uninformed and lost. I wish I had gone to a different Tesla location, or even at this point just purchased the Audi I was originally considering. read more

The Tesla store at Park Meadows Mall is neat, but not super-neat or blow-your-mind neat. The store is downstairs between Nordstrom's and Macy's (and across from the Apple Store). Once inside, if you're interested in the Model S, the most you can do is to sit in what amounts to a mock-up of a car that's not yet produced, or in a non-operative version of one of Tesla's cars that is in limited production--the Roadster. The virtual design center for the Model S let's you pick paint color, wheel type and roof-trim, and that's it. The people are nice but when they don't have anything operative to show you it's hard for them to be impressive talking about things that so far don't exist or which you can't experience firsthand. My advice for now (if you're interested in the Model S), is to just go to the website (www.teslamotors.com) and forget making the trip to the mall, unless you're one of those unfortunate folks who lives around the mall, or happens to be going there for some other reason. Tesla's a smart company. They're establishing a system of sales shops in advance of their production dates for what will probably be their leading model. But right now the place is mainly a tease and not a satisfying showroom experience. (Unless you wanna buy the Roadster, that is). Having said that, however, it was kinda neat to get to sit in the beta sample of the Model S. While you can't go anywhere and some of the finish will be different on the production models, at least most of the interior electronics were operative and the 17" computer screen certainly rocks. It's definitely gonna be a huge step up from a Prius or any other urban transport vehicle. Beware, however, that you only get to sit in the car and get the controls demonstration if you've paid your (refundable) deposit to get one of those Model S babies next year. Otherwise, it's lookee but no touchee, and you just get to stand on the outside of the ropes and think, "Wow. That looks reallllly nice." read more

I love walking in and pretending that my wallet is as big as my pupils are every time I lie my eyes on one of these bad boys. These are beautiful, all around impressive models by an outstanding company. We were doing some Christmas shopping, but I always pretend that Santa is seriously going to give me these babies in my stocking. The seating of these models are extraordinary and very comfortable. I love the electric doors. I feel like such a badass pressing them and seeing them rotate their doors in mere seconds. Seriously, the best adult toy in the 21st century. read more

We made an appointment online and we're able to snag the first appointment on Saturday AM. Justin called to confirm our appointment and was friendly and knowledgeable. When we arrived Cynthia greeted us and chatted with us. Justin got us checked in and off we went to the parking lot. Justin was able to show us features regarding the model, and ensured we were comfortable before leaving for the test drive. When we returned the show room was more crowded, but we instantly acknowledged. While we waited for Justin as he with someone else Cynthia answered my questions. Only place in Colorado to sit inside a Model S! If you spends hours on the design studio on the website but really want to see all the intricate details, this showroom is the way to go. Until more pop up this is the go to place to feel the seats, play with the touchscreen, and chat all things Tesla with the people on the floor. No pressure and very inviting environment. I can't wait until the P85D rolls into the showroom. I'd really like to compare the next gen seats to the current iteration. I'm hoping to set up a test drive soon, although I don't think the P85D will be available for test drive. Too much risk involved and nowhere to showcase the acceleration safely! Purchased a 50k car. Immediately after ordering it we noticed something got messed up. Our salesman said a manager would be calling us back to fix it. It has been two months and nothing. We get random calls from salesman that offer no help. Some salesman named Gary keeps calling my wife and being really creepy with her. We have called multiple times. We have stopped by multiple times and no manager will speak to us. Called corporate and was told we aren't important enough to speak to anyone about it and the guy even raised his voice with us. I can't believe we are treated this way after but a 50k car. Don't buy here. read more

Had to edit my earlier review now that we are through with our car purchase. While this place was great during the test drive, once we actually started the process of purchasing the vehicle, it all went sharply downhill. Overall, this was just a horrible experience, down to the day we were supposed to pick up our car. Our order was bungled from the start, and honestly, we should have just walked away because of how unprofessionally this transaction was handled. From not being able to directly speak to an actual person who was handling our account to them delivering the car and scheduling us a pickup time with NO notification (we were out of town) to us having inaccurate information on our account due to their uncorrected errors...everything was a major headache. To top it all off, we went to pick up our car this last weekend and after 90 minutes of waiting "for the paperwork", we had drive home WITHOUT our car because they still did not have the correct forms together and could not give us an ETA on to when they would be ready. I had an event I had to be at, and thought the 2.5 hour window would be sufficient to pick up the vehicle, but no. They ended up delivering the car to our house (which was appreciated) and the paperwork was again incorrect...did not have my name attached to the vehicle at all, just my husbands...therefore again, a huge waste of our time. Now we get to allot more of our time in correcting these errors ourselves. Two days in, we do love our car, so there is the one star. However, this experience makes me eager to see what other automotive brands come out with for when we switch out our other vehicle...I really would be hesitant to add another Tesla to our family due to this experience, much less recommend to others. read more

I love my Model X, the Littleton Service is really poor. I've called and left messages with no response and no ability to reach a live person. It's a good thing that I wasn't stranded on the side of the road. Honestly the car is 5 Stars but the services is so awful it negates the assessment by 2 Stars. Interesting way to sell a car... In a mall. Overall I'm not impressed with the car overall. If you have an electric car, why do you have to "ghee whiz" it up with full electric and electronic gadgets. Use a normal door latch and handle rather than an electric release. read more

We were doing some Christmas shopping the other day at the Park Meadows Mall in Denver when we decided to go in and look at the SUV. It's kind of cool having a dealership in a mall. Andrew Prentice was very helpful and answered all my questions. He took time to show me all the features and options. The price is not for the faint of heart, especially the top end model which I think was over $130,000 if I recall but then again he said it can get the jump on a Ferrari 0-60! read more

Love my car....hate Park Meadows supercharging station! If you plan on relying on this station to keep your car on the move do not buy a Tesla. They do not keep the stations up, charges are not nearly as good as others AND there is never availability. Between the test cars being plugged in 100% of the time and folks spending hours at mall you rarely get a station available. Holiday season you can count on random cars parking at the stations too. If you are in the market for a Tesla, I'd highly recommend coming into this location and placing your order in person vs. just doing it online by yourself. Sure, it's great to be able to buy a $100K car from the comfort of your house while in your PJs, but there's something to be said for getting the full retail experience. There's absolutely zero sales pressure and they will take the time to answer your questions, and even give you advice about which options are worth the extra money. Plus, they'll likely throw in some sweet swag to go with your new eco ride. We loved buying ours with Stephen (Store Manager), but everyone there is great to work with. read more

Now, we generally only come for owner events. they now show off other products such as their powerwall, solar panels thru solarcity and solar roof. Let me first say I used to be a fan of Tesla, as this was my 3rd Tesla I've owned. My model 3 spent over a month in the service department during the 4 months I owned it. Service was just part of the issue, the model 3 wouldn't start twice, leaving me stranded. They replaced the battery and it still had issues. Have a problem (and you will) that needs to go above your service rep? Good luck!! They could care less about any complaints you have, especially the 1-800 number corporate office and the service manager. Worst customer experience I have ever had. This was a repeated problem in the past as well. Plus the car is not great looking! Put a Toyota or Nissan badge on it and tell me you would still buy it for $56k. THE AUTOPILOT IS A SCARY JOKE, would constantly steer me directly into vehicles. When I questioned Tesla on this, they said well it's in beta and I should restrict my use to highway use only. Car of the future?! Not yet. WHAT A JOKE! Once real manufacturers start producing 100% electrics in full force, Tesla will be a long forgotten joke, I know they are already that way for me! Although I haven't purchased yet, the staff here is extremely knowledgable and friendly, and they have a very clean showroom despite how small it is. As of July 2016 they had a model 3 and the model X on display for people to look at and try out. When I purchase a Tesla in a year or so, I will definitely be coming to this location. read more

Shortly after the "showroom" opened we made multiple visits from 2012 to 2015 to view the car, talk about the car with the representatives and even crunch numbers on gasoline savings. While we had configured a car multiple times online, when we were finally fortunate enough to purchase this amazing machine, we worked with Steven Innerfield. Steven was personable, helpful and patient. He had insight into the features and available upgrades. We had multiple test drives of the Model S. If you want to drive this car, going for a test drive is easy to arrange. There was no pressure to buy. I highly recommend the car and the assistance provided by Steven at the Tesla store. read more

I love my tesla. I've never been happier. But tonight I was very disappointed with the park Meadows location. I had been doing a lot of driving and still had more to do. So I stopped at the charging station. Unfortunately for me the tesla dealership had cars plugged into the super charging stations. This is unfortunate for me because the dealership closed at 9, and it was 9:15. Needless to say I had to cancel my plans and fined a regular charging station. And spend a few hours charging, before I could go home. read more

The Car: 2016 P100d Model S with ludicrous and smart air suspension Options: 21" wheels Panoramic sunroof Carbon fiber interior Carbon fiber spoiler Cold Weather package Black Premium Seats Enhanced Autopilot Premium Upgrades package I love the car. I am a power kind of guy, and have owned many fast sports cars. The Tesla is quicker off the line then any car I have ever had in ludicrous mode, or ludicrous +. The insane mode is pretty tame for me, but if you are not used to high power cars, it is plenty quick for most people. The next closest car I have had is a Subaru STi which has over 500 hp at the crank. I absolutely love the acceleration of the Ludicrous Tesla. The build and quality of the car is quite nice. I have had one issue with the driver's side mirror not extending back all the way, which has decreased in frequency. I am awaiting a motor replacement from Tesla. The price of the car is a bit ridiculous, it does not handle like some of my sports cars I have had, I would not recommend the 21" tires unless you are out for the looks, I would get the 19". I think the spoiler is probably not something I need, seldom will I be doing 120+ in the car. I am not sold on the carbon fiber interior, it is nice, but probably not worth the grand for the upgrade. Surprisingly enough, I think I am actually starting to like the glass roof. Handling is decent with the low center of gravity, but my Subie would give it a run on a curvy road as it corners much better than the Tesla imho. Straightaways, the Tesla will pull on it at most any speed under 100 I think. The instant torque is something I love. My Subie has to build boost from the big turbo, and can be a bit laggy at my altitude. Not a problem for the Tesla. If that is not enough, I no longer have to pay for fuel, as my solar covers charging the car. The dealership (Park Meadows in Denver) and sales team: I cannot say the purchase went through without a few hiccups. I live in New Mexico, and there are no dealers or service centers here. I had contacted Kalib Steele and Stephen Martinique at the Tesla site at Park Meadows Mall. Kalib sent me some quotes, one of which was pretty much the exact car I wanted, but had 21" wheels, the panoramic sunroof, carbon fiber spoiler and interior I was not looking at getting, but the price was acceptable and after telephone conversations and e-mail exchanges with both, detailing each and every option on the vehicle (what was there and what was not), we purchased the vehicle. About some of the "hiccups". Do not trust the tesla.com website. I did, and several things turned out to be of issue. First, the website said Ludicrous and smart air suspension were included with the P100D. I also purchased the enhanced autopilot. I found out later after I had picked up the car (with ludicrous enabled), that ludicrous was not supposed to be included, and no one along the way informed me of such (actually had some documentation saying it was). In addition, the enhanced autopilot has still not been fully released for my car (version 2?) at the time of this review. What is released as far as auto steer is not ready for use. I have had to take control to keep from smacking a parked vehicle. The total self-driving capability is not going to be here for some time as I understand it. That said, I cannot say enough about Kalib and Stephen. I would not hesitate to buy from them again, and I highly recommend both. We actually went back to test drive a model X for my wife, and she really likes the car, and if we proceed with this purchase, it will be through these 2 gentlemen again. They both worked very hard to make sure I was happy and to do the right thing to make sure I was satisfied with the car. They did not just forget about me after the purchase, but have patiently answered my questions and gone above and beyond to assist me. I am a picky customer, and this is the first car I have ever purchased that I have not had some buyer's remorse over. I don't know how I will feel in a couple of years, but right now, I am a super happy camper. read more

My children, 12, 10 and 9 years old, were so excited to go into Tesla and look at the cars. When we got there my children opened one of the car door and began looking at the car. One of the sales associates came over to me and said, "Children are not allowed inside the cars because we don't want the cars to become a jungle gym." I then told my children not to go inside of the cars, and the sales associate looked at the other customers around me and said, "No, I didn't say that.", as though I was making it up. He then came and stood behind me, as me and my son were looking into the trunk of one of the cars, and asked what brought me into Tesla. I said, "My children really wanted to look at the cars." He then reached over me and closed the trunk that we were looking into. It was very obvious that he wanted us to leave. I don't know of a business that hires such horrific sales associates to represent the face of their company. In the future, I will never consider purchasing a Tesla because of their horrible customer service and their lack of value for their customers read more
