Wendy wasn't available when my daughter and I arrived to pick up her new 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid, so she left the key with another salesperson, Art. From the moment we arrived, there was no greeting, no congratulations, no walk to the vehicle, no "thank you for your business," and no offer to explain any of the vehicle's features or answer questions. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than customers taking delivery of a brand-new vehicle. I understand it wasn't Art's sale, but representing the dealership professionally should not depend on whose customer it is. Delivery day is supposed to be exciting, especially for someone purchasing a new vehicle. My daughter was incredibly proud of her new Santa Fe, and that moment was diminished by the lack of basic customer service. For comparison, when I purchased a vehicle from McDonald Hyundai in Highlands Ranch, everyone there was welcoming, professional, and made the delivery feel special. The difference between the two dealerships was striking. It's unfortunate that what started as a very positive buying experience with Wendy ended on such a disappointing note. when I first got my car when I took it for servicing, they had a whole group of mechanics were great. The manager of servicing was great. His name was Paul after Paul left and if they got new stuff, they went downhill. I took my car in a little over three years ago, they claimed that I needed new rotors and new brakes at the time my car had under 47,000 miles then after that, my car started acting up whenever I would go on the highway it would shake. I took it back and they told me it was good nothing was wrong with it. There was probably just dust in there. Well three years later now the car still shakes really bad when I'm on the highway and you press the brakes. I'm here at a different Hyundai dealership and they told me the rotors had never been changed ever and it's a possibility they put on old rotors I didn't even belong to my car AND they claimed to replace the brakes, the brakes were not even done now the brakes are down to the middle. There's no way that could've happened in a few years Don't come here to fix your car. Don't ever go to Arapahoe Hyundai. They're all thieves and they treat you like you're stupid which I was, I didn't know about cars and I should've listened to my friend at the time he said don't do it, but I did it because they made it sound like it was urgent and they said the brakes were bad on the roads are bad, but it would be dangerous for me I am so lucky. Nothing happened to me cause I don't drive the highway much. It's the only way you could tell the brakes. The roads were bad. These people are crooks. so Arapahoe Hyundai they took me for over $700. I won't even buy a car from there. I will never stay at foot in that dealership or service center ever again and I'm warning. People do not go there either. We purchased a new Palisade on June 13th and traded in our old vehicle. It has now been a month and Araphoe Hyundai has still not sent the payoff, which has resulted in us having to make 2 car payments. No one, including the sales manager, Phillip Porras, can provide any updates. We just keep hearing "I don't know what happened" and "let me call you back". Emich was so incredibly unprofessional and gave me a "discount" that did not include any type of warranty. Hyundai took care of me and gave me a 1 yr, 12,000 mile warranty. Gideon and Gary went above and beyond for me and checked out all the recalls for my make and model on their own, to make sure I was 100% ready to go. They didn't have to go the extra mile, but I was so stressed, that they wanted to put in the extra effort to alleviate my stress and anxiety, which they did. They didn't even bother calling us in the morning after they looked at the car and after we called, they couldn't tell us what was wrong until we drove 40 minutes to talk to someone in person only for them to say, the part wasn't in stock (ICCU unit). Originally told us it'll take 4 days, well it took them 7 days, went to go pick up the car, first of all no one was in sight when we got to the service department. Finally Brentt pops out, asks us for our last name & phone number, says nothing comes up and immediately makes a heavy sigh like it's our fault that he can't find our car...... I bought a brand-new 2025 Hyundai Palisade in April with just 184 miles on it. Less than 24 hours later, the vehicle had to be towed back due to a persistent warning sensor in the cluster that triggered nonstop beeping--whether the car was on or off. At the time, the dealership couldn't replicate the issue and advised me to return if it happened again while the car was actively malfunctioning. In August, the issue resurfaced. I drove straight to the dealership while the problem was occurring, only to be told repeatedly that they didn't have time to assist me. I explained that I was following their instructions to bring the car in during the malfunction. After escalating the issue to management, they still couldn't identify the root cause and concluded that the entire cluster needed replacement. The part took 10 days to arrive. I scheduled the repair while I was out of town for five days (including a weekend), expecting the issue to be resolved. Instead, the technicians--despite having the part and a scheduled appointment--tried to discourage the repair, claiming the car wasn't "actively" malfunctioning, even though they had witnessed the issue firsthand and couldn't explain it. Their advice? Keep driving until it happens again. When I returned, I was told a technician had broken a piece during the repair, and another part had to be ordered. Days later, I received a text saying the car was ready. My husband went to pick it up, only to be told the message was sent in error--the part hadn't arrived yet. As of today, the part is finally in, but the car remains unrepaired with no estimated completion date. By Monday, they will have had my vehicle for 15 days. I've asked for a call from management, but no one has taken responsibility or shown any willingness to resolve the situation professionally. "Disappointed Buyer, Misled & Ignored" I am extremely disappointed with my purchase experience at Arapahoe Hyundai and with Hyundai Motor America's complete lack of accountability. When I leased my 2026 Ioniq 9 SEL, my salesperson Wendy told me directly that the vehicle would include Digital Key. After weeks of escalating through Hyundai's Customer Care, Executive Case Management, and BlueLink, I have been told nothing but contradictions. One person told me the SEL trim doesn't have any digital key availability, another said the hardware isn't present, and someone else told me it only works on Android. Nobody seems to have a straight answer. The sales experience itself was a disaster. Sales Manager Phillip Porras had texted me a sign-and-drive offer, with no payment due at signing, and that message was in Hyundai's own internal communication system. When I went in the next day, Wendy and her supervisor refused to honor that written offer and instead charged me a payment. I then sat in their office for more than three hours while Wendy walked back and forth to the printer for new documents and then back again to her supervisor for approvals. Nothing improved from the original offer Phillip had provided by text. The entire process felt like being stuck in a bad 1980s car-sales movie. On the support side, things somehow got worse. Executive Case Manager Dinesh refused to provide his supervisor's last name or title when I asked for it. At BlueLink, a representative transferred me to someone introduced as "Kathy," who told me Digital Key was not possible, only for me to later find out her real name was Genysis. If Hyundai's own teams cannot even provide accurate supervisor names, how can customers trust them with something as important as vehicle features? I escalated all of this directly to Hyundai executives, including Michel Poirier, Vice President of Aftersales and Customer Experience, and Barry Ratzlaff, Chief Customer Officer. The only response I ever received was from Dinesh, their Executive Case Manager, who had no answers and only served to confirm that my model does not include Digital Key. Weeks later, I am still waiting for meaningful follow-up. Even the corporate survey sent by Michel Poirier went unanswered after I completed it. On top of everything else, the seat warmers in my Ioniq 9 fail after about five to ten seconds, so I will need to schedule service for a brand-new vehicle. Hyundai sold me on the idea of a premium EV experience, but what I got was false promises, broken processes, and leadership that hides behind case managers. If this is how Hyundai treats new customers, I would strongly advise anyone considering this brand to look elsewhere. read more

Where do I begin. First, I'm not one to go down the rabbit hole of leaving a poor review for a company, as I know it can be detrimental for business, but this entity really is one of the worst I've encountered (the better half and I have collectively purchased over 40 vehicles in our lifetimes). For starters, I purchased a used EV from them. Now any used car purchase comes with risks- uncertainties with how well it was cared for, and all sales are AS-IS no warranty/unless there's remaining factory warranty on the vehicle. It's the case wherever you buy a car. Why we usually buy new. Well, this car was far from well cared for, we later found out (post purchase). Its suspension system was completely shot, rear drivetrain issues, and A/C has a leak and needed a new condenser. These were all discovered about two months and 1500 miles post purchase. Certainly not items of wear that wouldn't have been discovered in a trade-in appraisal. My stupidity for making a purchase without a third party inspection- we were in a rush, and needed a second vehicle. Now the really rough part, we did buy an extended warranty on the vehicle. While we were told it was very comprehensive, I come to find out it more or less just a basic powertrain warranty. It's comical as the Tesla warranty on the vehicle covers the same parts. So really I'm double covered. Said warranty doesn't cover any of the failed items on the car- which is a hard pill to swallow. So we made the decision we were going to get rid of the vehicle. I contacted the warranty company to work and cancel the warranty before we trade the nightmare purchase in on a new vehicle (no more used for us). The warranty company instructed us to contact the dealer. 27 calls over one month, and not a single person ever answers, no callbacks, no calls from the sales associate we worked with, nothing. The difficult part is we live in Texas, so can't make a simple drive to the dealer to try and get this resolved. So want to buy a car here? Sure, do so, you won't have any dealer support post sale. Absolute criminals. We are working on retaining an attorney if we can't reach someone by the end of the month. read more

I brought my car in for service on July 29th for a scheduled appointment. My vehicle has a simple issue where one of the forward collision detection sensors is malfunctioning. The problem was demonstrated to the intake person, and the service technician took the vehicle. It is not August 8th, and Arapahoe Hyundai has called me exactly 0 times. I can see from the BlueLink app that the vehicle has not moved or been turned on since July 29th. The communication from the service department has been non-existent. No one can tell me why my car has been sitting uninspected for nearly two weeks. The lack of communication is breathtaking. I have had to call Arapahoe Hyundai every day asking for an update, and my technician is "out". Why my car can't be assigned to another technician is unknown. I couldn't be more disappointed with the service. There has been no offer of a loaner. As of now, I'm in the hole $2000 for a rental car. Apparently, if you call the local number for the repair center the call gets routed to a call center in Georgia. I called to set up a repair for a recall and was told the part would be in the shop in a week and I did not need to call to confirm the day of the appointment. I arranged my schedule to not need my car for a few hours, showed up for my appointment only to find out that the part had not arrived and they did not have an exact date when it would arrive. If you set up an appointment, I suggest calling the day of it to make sure they have the part in stock because this s not the first time this has happened to a family car. read more

Up until recently, I have had fantastic service for my Ioniq 6 - my sales person, the service technicians for scheduled maintenance and recalls and everyone I've interacted with. But Arapahoe Hyundai has lost a customer for life and I will not be purchasing my next Hyundai from their dealership and will be working with a different service department for all my needs going forward. I recently dropped my car off for service and upon picking it up, noticed that the doors were unlocked. I brought this to the attention of my service person, who indicated that while this shouldn't have happened, he assured me that security is diligent. Upon entering my vehicle, it was clear someone had went through all my belongings: my lower center console was torn apart and in disarray with items strewn across the floor and front seats. When the service person and I examined what had happened, I noticed that a pair of gloves had been stolen and a memento from a class trip with my son had also been stolen. To add to my frustration, I've now left several messages to be contacted, with several weeks having gone by with no response. Service attendant told me that had been broken for a while. And, it was a bit more than the 49.95. I tried to call to the service manager to ask about this, was on hold twice, the last time for over 20 minutes. On the plus side, it did take a bit less time than promised. If I could rate it as less than one star, I honestly would. While this might sound like me whining about not being able to close a deal, that was truly the least of my concerns about my experience. It was absolutely dreadful. I saw some pretty enticing advertisements for year-end lease deals on Hyundai's Ionic 5. I searched the Front Range for available inventory, and it seemed like Arapahoe Hyundai was the answer. It's a two-hour drive for me without traffic, so I was hopeful that we could take care of as much business as possible remotely. I reached out via email, text, and phone over multiple days and could not get a reply. Finally, I got a response on the morning of (12/28). The sales associate was not terribly quick to answer my inquiries. Still, I understood completely that Saturdays are likely their busiest day. After about four hours of back-and-forth, I was able to get what I wanted... a number! I had sent them comparable leases that a friend of mine had been able to get a few days prior. The sales associate was confident that he could come close to matching that deal but warned me that inventory was going quickly. Keep in mind this was after a hard pull on my credit and several hours of communication. With this in mind, I took off work early, arranged for a ride, and made the two-and-a-half-hour trip down to the dealership. The associate that I worked with over the phone was gone for the day, but he assured me that I was in good hands. I was told that I would be taken care of and that I would under no circumstance be wasting my time by coming down. Oh man, was that a load of bull? When I finally arrived, I walked in on several salespeople huddled around televisions, and no one seemed interested in talking to me. After I finally found someone to help me out, I had to basically start over. Even after I showed them the numerous text conversations and email correspondence that had led up to me making the trip, they still made me wait for over an hour before they could discuss anything with me. They then took me outside to look at their inventory. I could point them to the model I had been negotiating over all morning. When we got back inside, they informed me that it had an open recap and I would have to come back another day if I wanted to purchase it. I begrudgingly agreed. This is precisely what I had hoped to avoid. They pressured me to come down by quoting their fleeting inventory but neglected to tell me that I couldn't even purchase the inventory in hand. Nor would they hold it. Again. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that this was an unfortunate mix-up. I was told to sit tight while they prepared the paperwork needed to hold the vehicle. After another 45 minutes, they came back to me with a rate sheet double what I was quoted on the phone--not a few hundred more, double! At this point, I had lost my patience, but I politely repeated myself by explaining how we had got here. Long story short, after several time-consuming visits between the sales associate and the manager, they told me they could make the deal they quoted me. I'd say I was shown the door but wasn't even offered that courtesy. So, after every attempt to make this process go smoothly, I was ignored for several days, pressured to take off work, obtain a ride, drive for 2 hours (5 hours round trip), and sit in a lobby for 2 hours, all to be lied to about the price for a car they couldn't even sell me and then told to leave. Seriously, stay clear. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a car dealer. read more

I would give them 0 stars if that was an option. I will never allow Arapahoe Hyundai to work on my car again. They have lied to me, are completely incompetent, and the staff change every time I am there. In October, my brand new Santa Fe hybrid suddenly would not switch out of EV mode while merging onto the highway. I had it towed here. They had it for 10 days, but could not pull a code or figure out a problem. In November, the car did it again. We went back to the dealership. Again, they were unable to pull a code. They tell us they can't do anything without a code. We ended up dropping it off to leave it for an extended period of time, as they kept telling us they couldn't do anything unless they replicated the issue. The car sat on the lot for 18 days without being touched. Despite this, the service advisor lied to me and told me they were driving it "every chance they got." I have a LoJack device on my vehicle, and it had not been driven since it had been dropped off 18 days prior. The dealership had the car for 26 days total, drove it on four days for a total of 40 miles, and once again claims they couldn't replicate the issue or pull a code. The options we were given were to continue to leave it there or to bring the car in immediately if it happened again. In early January, the issue happened again. We purchased our own code reader and were able to successfully pull a code. We immediately went back to Arapahoe Hyundai, where the first words out of the assistant manager's mouth were, "The codes don't mean anything." They couldn't give us a loaner and couldn't give a timeframe for a possible repair. We were put on a waitlist for a loaner car, but told that there were 15 people ahead of us, some of whose cars have been here for over a month. Yesterday, I set an appointment with McDonald Hyundai. In less than 36 hours, they confirmed the code we provided and fixed the problem. The solution? The housing for the air filter was loose, causing too much air to get into the system. It only needed to be tightened. The service advisor when we picked up the car stated, "This doesn't just happen," and asked who the last person to work on the car was. It was Arapahoe Hyundai, where I had an oil change done. I have never had such a horrible experience getting my car serviced. Everything was good until after I signed the lease and financial paperwork. Then my salesmen Sergey Mikhailov didn't have time for me. When sitting in the car Sergey would only answer the questions that I would ask him. He never volunteered to tell me things on is own. I was going to pick up my car the next morning and ask a few more questions about the car. I called to confirm that SERGEY would be at work and that he still has my keys. I was told Sergey was not in so another salesmen told me he was going to call him and have him call me back. IT NEVER HAPPENED! The building that Arapahoe Hyundai is in is a dump! Giving this shop 1 stars is being too kind. I have a lease so wanted to take it to the shop for some repairs. I was told by my insurance that the shop was refusing to provide additional photos for proof. Finally the service manager told me my parts were on a backorder and they would have my vehicle 4-6 weeks at best and the work would cost about 8k. I immediately called around and got my car picked up from their possession. Schomp Hyundai provided a body shop of my choice the parts THE NEXT DAY! So they were not on back order. I had my car fixed for less than half the price in days, not 2 months! Not to mention, half the things Hyundai said needed repair actually did not. Fortunately, I went years without experiencing any bad experiences with other dealerships until I came to this one I have never in my entire life, and I am in the automotive business experienced such a lack of customer service, a lack of any type of etiquette in this company, I have been beyond disappointed beyond distraught. My vehicle has been there for over 60 days and I've gotten minimal to any response of why is in there for service. I have called every single day since the vehicle was there and I've gotten zero response from the service people. I finally had enough and went to go pick up the vehicle myself. I brought it in for an overheating issue. They could not figure it out apparently or for whatever reason they did not give clear instructions and I took me three minutes to find a hole in the radiator. My car also gets broken into at their lot and they do not take responsibility for it and matter fact they tell me and I quote when you park at our lot it's a park at your own risk. I went to go check up on the vehicle and they told me I had a bad driver side door actuator which was not there previously I went to go look at it myself and it looks like they jammed it shot. Impossible to get ahold of them. Bought a Genesis in 2022 from them. They no longer service it and its been a pain. I cancelled my service contract and was supposed to receive a refund for it many months ago and that still hasn't happened. Have left them voicemail and calls and still haven't heard back. Great service, and they were able to get my car back to me pretty quick! The service attendants were friendly and knowledgeable.

Stay away from Hyundai. I bought a Kona 2022 a year ago and for the last 4 months I have been having issues with my steering wheel. Every time I take it in to get it fix is something else, either they don't have the part or they broke something and made it worst. I am now left without a car because of their mistake and they can only offer me a Lyft to bring me home or take me there. I am beyond frustrated with the lack of empathy from Hyundai. I explained to them this was my only car and needed this fix. Yet they disregard my concern and have been nothing but a pain in the neck to say the least. Please go else where to buy a car.
