This shop has to be aimed at all the nearby office workers, due to no shortage of them…read more With shelves laden with sandwiches, wraps and rolls to go on their meal deal range, they seem to reduce food pretty early on the day to be sure that there is little to to bin at the end of the working day. I've seen at weekends like melon or even fresh asparagus for 20p. Sainsbury's are heading to the route of having little staff and more of those awkward self service counters. Overall the store has less variety & selection than a regular store but serves your basic need's.

I want to make stew and forgot to pick one up yesterday. Because I always go here after work and it closes early (i think it's opening hours reflect the surrounding office buildings), things start getting reduced at about 5 and I finish at 5 so always grab a bargain. I picked up half a swede, a small bag of new potatoes and a cauliflower all for the princely sum of 90p! They didn't have any vegan butter which I also planned to pick up but I will survive without it...for now. This place recently got self scanners which amuse me because as usual there was a man telling everyone to come use them but only 1 person on the actual checkout and a huge queue. Self scanners annoy me.

I was flabergasted to be told this could not be done. Why would any business turn down such an order - Can't be sure ordering click and collect would solve the issue as I assume they would just be selecting from stock on the shelves - there probably wouldn't be enough - which is why i made a special trip to the store.

Waitrose is obviously happy with Glasgow. A couple years from the express version of their store…read moreopening in the West End, this full size supermarket is now available for the folks living in the Mearns. Just off the M77 between Junction 3 and 4, it has been sited to cater to both locals and folks seeking the Waitrose lifestyle. You have the John Lewis kitchen, bedroom and garden furniture, now you need to get the steaks and coffee. To be honest, there are certain things we like about Waitrose. Most of the products here are the same as the ones in Tescos and Sainsburys and they try and price match it at Waitrose. So, maybe the "Waitrose is most expensive place to shop" moniker is misplaced. Back to the store. If you have been to the Byres Road version, then you have some idea of what to expect. Expand the Butchers, Bakers and Deli sections, add a decent freezer area and you may get some idea of what you have here. But the best bit - you ready for this? Quick Check. Yes - I love Quick Check. You grab your scanner when you walk in. Scan stuff as you walk around and put them into your bags. At the end of your shopping, you hand over the scanner, pay for your shopping and wander out. No loading groceries onto a moving belt and then quickly stuffing it into bags. You can organise your shopping as you wander, keep track of what you are spending and not have to go through that silly checkout crap. It makes shopping much easier. Other than that - decent wine and beer selection, loads of specialist goods, and all the regular stuff. We are definitely making the trip down the M77. We don't need to fight the Byres Road traffic and pedestrians anymore to get our Waitrose fix.

Because Dunoon is where it is we are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to looking after the customer. I'd give it zero stars if I could. The town has this shop or a seriously overpriced and limited Co.Op. essentially the attitude of the company is take it or leave it. Disgusting.

I hate everything about it, the cold floors, the ugly walls, the horrible car park which is so bad, you have to wait like ten minutes just to cross the road to get in the place, I'd definitely rather get hit by a car than stare at the Morrisons entrance from across the street, that's for sure. Quite recently, Morrisons have started moving all their overpriced products around everywhere, so that the baked beans are next to the deodorant and shampoo, the salad's next to the cat food and they hide potatoes around the shop as if it's an Easter egg hunt! I was buying some crackers the other day and noticed that the safety pins where next to the Haribo Gummies. What? They've moved the milk at least six times this week and they didn't even have any a fortnight ago! The illogical ordering is so stressful for us customers, but, it's even worse for the staff! I asked them where the chocolate milk was yesterday because it wasn't next to the normal milk like it used to be and they hadn't a clue! The prices of all the items are going up ridiculous amounts as well, let's use the Meal Deals as an example, The idea is that if you're hungry and on a lunch break and want a !cheap! lunch, you go into the meal deal section of Morrisons and pick up a main meal, a snack and a drink for only £2, sounds great, right? Not anymore. last year they increased the price to £3, a big increase, but it was gradual, raising the price 5, 10 pence or so, but in the last three weeks, they made the meal deal another 50p more expensive. what. the. hell. What's even more harrowing about this whole meal deal experience is that along with making it 150% more expensive than what it was pre-brexit (I hate you tories!) they are also giving us less food! Lets use the vegetarian sushi as an example for this, the vegan sushi is my personal favourite meal deal main, as it provides you with 16 delicious pieces of heavenly flavour, but last week, they took 7 pieces out of the container! I have done the maths and that is a harrowing 43.75% decrease in sushi! Unacceptable!! The meal deal is only one example of what this awful, dystopian supermarket is doing! At first, they where trying to hide the fact that they where robbing us, making things a couple pennies more expensive a month, but they've taken off the invisibility cloak and are killing us with their awful manipulation tactics. Somebody, Anybody, I am begging you, please save our town and take down this supermarket. I would do anything for this manipulative Morrisons to be replaced with an Aldi or Lidl. Thank you for listening.
