My son just graduated out of speech and we are over the moon…read more As I'm writing this, I'm reflecting on the mind blowing progress my son has made in just 3 years with the incredible help of Mrs. Teresa. When we first started here, my son was speech delayed and no one understood the few words he did say. Mrs. Teresa was able to target his problem areas and gave my son the tools he needed to communicate clearly and effectively. Mrs. Teresa is kind, gentle, patient, stern when needed, and truly invested in my son's growth and progress. They worked hard together during sessions, and she always rewarded my son with play time at the end which he appreciated. She always pushed and challenged him -- every session the improvement was undeniable. My son is a better speaker, a more confident communicator, and is able to focus and apply himself so much more now. I have a daughter at a different clinic who has now seen several different therapists, and I truly don't think with them all combined they could do what Mrs. Teresa does. She is an expert in the field and my son and I were truly blessed to work with her! Shout out to Miss Rosa who runs a tight ship! She truly keeps everything running smoothly, handles everything from scheduling to billing to whatever else falls on her lap, and she always does it with a welcoming and warm smile. She's the first and last face we see -- the face of the company. It's bitter sweet to say goodbye. Thank you sooooo much to Mrs. Teresa & Miss Rosa for being a part of our lives for the past 3 years.

She has truly been a light throughout our special needs journey -- kind, patient, professional, and always believing in our daughter's potential. Thanks to Ms. Jess' guidance, our daughter's receptive language has blossomed. She understands so much more and engages with the world around her in beautiful new ways. We continue to work together on expressive communication, and every step forward is a victory we celebrate together. What sets Ms. Jess apart is her genuine dedication. She goes above and beyond to learn more about our daughter's AAC device and Proloquo software, making sure she can communicate in ways that feel natural and empowering. She takes time to individualize every activity and helps us as parents feel confident continuing those strategies at home. Ms. Jessica's compassion, creativity, and commitment make her one in a million. For any family seeking an exceptional speech therapist who truly cares, I can't recommend her enough.

With the help of our amazing speech therapist Ms. Jacque, our son Ryan who is now going on 3 is thriving. Singing songs, expressing to us his wants/needs. We started with sessions once a week for a year, and now upped it to 2x a week and it has been an amazing journey watching our child's language develop so much with the help/care he receives weekly. I highly recommend Ms. Jacque at Jabberdogs.

Unfortunately I've had problems with one of the secretaries. I just called to cancel an appointment since the pain that I had had resolved. However, the secretary kept on trying to keep me from cancelling the appointment time after time. Eventually, fed up, I told her to cancel the appointment. I rarely write reviews and try to not leave negative reviews but I'm making an exception in this case.

The clinic has a small gym upfront with treatment tables in the back. Super convenient location in Alhambra with a 4-hr free parking garage. B&C PT is extremely popular and books out weeks in advance. I had to wait ~3-4 weeks for my initial appt, and had to book all my subsequent appts following my first visit to secure dates/times. I work primarily with Ching Ly (the C of B&C lol) and he's super down to earth. He did a comprehensive exam of my neck, measured my neck movements with a goniometer, and confirmed if it was a joint or muscle issue. I've seen several PTs, but no one was as thorough as Ching in trying to figure out the root cause. My treatment plan is pretty straightforward - Managing neck pain with manual therapy, at-home workouts, and then more workouts to strengthen neck, shoulder, and back muscles. If I had to nitpick then it would be the super tedious process of booking upcoming appointments with the front desk receptionist. Nothing PT related. Highly recommend B&C PT! I hope to be free of this annoying pain by the end of my sessions.

Her office is right in the heart of San Marino with ample Parking. She was professional and had a great way with young newborns. We brought my son in when he was 2 months old. Dr. Christine Nguyen is a godsend. I was in contact with her from the moment I was pregnant and she…read moreassembled an entire team for me to work with. Elena Vogel was my lactation consultant, Dr. Kolleen Gregory was our infant chiropractor, and Dr. Choi is currently our pediatric dentist. Dr. Nguyen evaluated Adam the morning after I gave birth. He wasn't able to latch all night so she came to the hospital and said he had a tie. I was adamant about breastfeeding so after we were cleared by our doctors, we checked out on the second day and went straight to our appointment with Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Choi. Dr. Choi, who did the laser treatment on his tie actually found that it was much tighter than they originally thought, so I'm thankful I did it. It was a few seconds and it was done. Adam cried and truthfully screamed a bit, but stopped the second it was done. He had already settled down by the time he was back in my arms and we went home. The post-op care was heavily stressed by Dr. Nguyen. She was very thorough and careful when explaining how to do his oral stretches. She emphasized that the post-op care wasn't just his mouth, but his whole body. She was so incredibly knowledgeable on how the body functions as a whole and how it all ties together, so the movement and stretching of his mouth and entire body is all important. I'll be honest and say that I didn't want to do any of it because my cooter was healing and I was still in pain from just coming home from giving birth. It was all very fresh. But I looked at my baby and decided I'm his mom and this is my responsibility. Every single day for the next 3 months, I set aside the bare minimum of 5 minutes but realistically it took 15 minutes to do thorough movement for my son. I put in the work. I took videos and sent them to Dr. Nguyen and she would give me feedback. Call me crazy but my son was and is an "easy" baby. Be it a blessing of luck with a combination of effort and work, I see results. He eats a variety of foods, hitting all his milestones, and developing beautifully. I can't wait to have another baby lol.

A Heartfelt Thank You to an Amazing Healthcare Team at the Monterey Park Convalescent Hospital…read more Our family is deeply grateful for the care my father-in-law received at the Monterey Park Convalescent Hospital when he suffered from a stroke. It was a challenging time for us, but the warmth and dedication of the staff made all the difference. We found them on Medicare.gov with 5 stars rating and they definitely deserve this rating. They also have multilingual staff on board which was very helpful for my father-in-law. Starting from the administrative staff (Veronica, Leticia), and Social Worker (Ms. Bi) were very responsive to our calls, very knowledgeable and informative, resourceful accommodating, and always ready to help. The nurses (Sarah, Daisy, Vicky, Socorro, Angela, Fei, Jessica, Agnes, Elia, Mel, Daniel, Rose, Divine, Zenny, Hannah, and several others); nursing assistants (Maria, Alex, Moses, Gloria, Lupe, Juan, Linda, Yolanda, Vilente, Maple and several others); physical therapists (Rowena, Sue, Rosa, and several others); nutritionist (Norma and staff) were all highly skilled but also incredibly kind and loving, patient, and accommodating. They worked as a team and tirelessly helped my dad 24/7. Every aspect of his care was handled with compassion and professionalism. From medicine feeding, incontinence changes, careful bathing, to well-prepared and personalized meals assessed by the oral therapist and nutritionist, and laundry cleaning, they took good care of him. They also kept us informed every step of the way, providing timely updates on his condition. Beyond medical care, they also created a warm, welcoming environment. The facility was kept cleaned and well maintained, and they thoughtfully decorated the place for every holidays making it felt like home. My grandma had stayed there 2 times and here is the experience:…read more The first time: Grandma said that they wheel you into the shower, strip you of your clothes then spray you with a hose like a dog. Then they leave you soaking wet to get clothes. Imagine how cold that is. The last time: Grandma's condition got worse and was transferred here from the ER. She couldn't move, so they had to turn her every few hours. After a few days, they called to say "you gotta take her back to where she came from. she isn't like this the last time she was here and she is too much work. wherever she was before, take her back now." I said she had been home but now she needs professional help since she is still on IV and we don't know how to do that. Few days after that initial call, we got a call on a Sunday night and they said she stopped breathing. I said what? The lady on the phone said she stopped breathing and now we sent her to the ER. When I saw the ER doctor, he said "her condition wasn't that bad to a point that she would die. something happened at the nursing home". I was there when she woke up from the coma, and she was in such terror like she woke up from a terrible nightmare like the end of the world. I don't have to be there and I know exactly what happened.
