They could have easily sold me on replacing my timing chain, gears and all the parts that it takes to rebuild that area but instead I was advised that it would be best to have the transmission checked out first before spending $2500 to $3000 with them. The car is only worth about $5000 so it wouldn't be worth spending all that money on it to then have the transmission break down on me and I would have to spend another 4-5K. Thank you for honesty!

Was in and out in less than 10minutes, and I was the only walk-in customer that came in without any appointments. Pros: -Friendly Staff (family owned business) -Price is quoted on the wall. Cons: -None. Besides no free Wifi. My cell service is apparently weak in here when I was waiting. If you fail smog test, that is not the responsibility of the business owners that failed you. It's more so that your car needs further service/maintenance in order to pass Smog which will definitely cost extra above the Smog Test Service. If you need to re-do again, it'll be half off the Smog Test to see if you will pass the second time within a 30-day period prior your first day service. Now the question is, will I be back? Most definitely, and will prolly check out their new location at Tazz Auto Car Smog for my next Smog Test.

I had a nightmare experience with 2tech Auto in chico Ca, (read the yelp review its an entertaining…read morereview) and only 2 hours left on my breathalyzer till it locked out my car, this was from disconnecting the battery which is apparently not allowed. I did so cause the unit was draining the battery at night to keep itself warm in the cold. Nevertheless I called 99smog and Tune and he said come on out with no appointment, which saved me a 300$ tow if he had said make an appointment my car would have locked out. When I got there they were very sympathetic towards my situation and had me out of there in 15 minutes. I couldnt have expected them to show more empathy and kindness from what had endured at 2tech auto. They charge less than most places and their minimum is only 55$. Its a nice drive to Gridley 20 minutes if you live in Chico go to to these guys. Very professional worth the drive.
