Specifically, Rich worked with me to quickly buy my car and sell me a used Ford Focus that I would pay for in cash. Unfortunately, after the sale was complete Rich no longer considered my business profitable and had no time to deal with any of my issues. First, one year and four months after purchasing the Focus it was due for inspection. As I do not live in Somerset anymore I took it to a shop in Pittsburgh to get it inspected, only to find out that my car needed an insurmountable amount of work done to it just to pass inspection. I called Rich to get an estimate for the work because I was aware that prices in Pittsburgh would be much higher than those at a local shop back home. The estimate was $562 so I took the day off and drove home to have the work done on my car, included was refastening the side view mirror that was knocked off. When I went back to the shop to pick my car up Rich gave me a bill for $870 with no explanation whatsoever. The bill listed things such as "replace both wheel cylinders, rear brake drums, rear brake shoes, both rear control arms, rear coil springs, and rear sway bar links". I'm not a mechanic but I do know that the odometer reading when I purchased the Focus was 63,729 and 68,802 when I took it to the shop to get it inspected. Not only did all of this need replaced but SURPRISE, nothing was covered under the warranty that Rich "highly suggested" I get. Moving forward, eight months later the mirror that they had refastened for me fell back off of my car! I called Rich asking him to make this right in any way possible because I would only assume that a body shop would guarantee their work for AT LEAST one year. Not to my surprise Rich only told me that he gave me a great deal on the work that they did to my car and he was not responsible for fixing this poorly repaired mirror. So overall, I could not be more dissatisfied with the customer service at Somerset Sports Car Sales and needless to say I will NEVER return to them for anything!

I had tried other shops closer to the area where I was but I was shut down each time with them telling me I couldn't be seen until more than 2 weeks out. Upon calling Tri-Star, I spoke with Jordan (sp?) and he was so kind. He took the time to talk to me and didn't make me feel like he was rushing me to get off the phone. He gave me information that I both wanted and some I didn't think about. He IMMEDIATELY calmed me down as I had been at my position for over 13 hours at that point. They were able to look at my truck by that Monday and I had the break down on Friday. With the service, Chris was professional and knowledgeable. He kept in contact with me and was available for me to speak with him anytime I called. He kept me up to date with what was going on with the repair and what other problems there were and how serious they were. I felt them to be trustworthy based on the time they took to speak with me, the information they gave me, and the confidence they gave me in getting it done and done right. Not once did I ever feel like they were going to take advantage of me all from me being a female, being from out of town, and having to be their only option for what I really needed. They were such a relief and a godsend and I couldn't be happier with my treatment and service. My only regret is that I am unable to make them my regular guys for my truck since I am based in L.A. but I am absolutely going to recommend them to anyone I know in or around the area.
