I normally wouldn't do this but its gotten to the point that I feel like other people should know…read more I bought a 2002 ram 3500 from them back in September of 21. The truck was priced very high considering the year, but I'm familiar with these trucks and know the life you can get out of them. I spoke to a salesman, at length, numerous times about the truck since I'm in Buffalo NY and didn't want to waste anyone's time. I was promised the truck was in immaculate condition, had 0 rust, and was the real deal. I asked for many pictures and again verified that the truck did not have any rust/rot. Again told the truck is perfect. I ended up buying it over the phone, and had a company drive down and pick up the truck for me. When it showed up I started looking at it while it was still on the flat bed. I immediately noticed both from cab mounts were nearly completely rotted through. Then noticed the truck was double framed and the inner frame was so rotted in spots that it was swelling the outer frame. This would immediately fail inspection in NY and I'm sure most other states. Got the truck off the truck got in it and realized that the heat was stuck on and couldn't be turned off. The drivers seat was rusted in place and wouldn't adjust. The dump box was covered in rot holes underneath. Every fluid in the truck was either low or bone dry - front and rear differential, transfer case and the transmission. The passed side brake caliper was so rotted the piston inside of it was crumbling. I could go on I will say I initially called and complained and they did give me a small discount on the truck. I have owned the truck for about 6 months and have almost $12,000 into it trying to make it road worthy. The latest was the transmission going- which I was told by numerous mechanics that it failed most likely because it was so low on fluid when I bought it. I did check it when I first got it, and added 5 quarts to it (holds 6) to fill it. Too little too late. I never want to speak poorly about another business but this truck was a painted pig, they knew it, and clearly I learned never buy a car sight unseen, or trust a word a used car dealer tells you Last one. The truck had been freshly painted when I got it. In the last 6 months the paint on the entire truck has been shedding off in sheets leaving bare metal. You can clearly see no primer was used. I did contact them again when I realized how bad the frame was and their response was " were here if you want to talk"

We were given the keys to both vehicles we were interested in and told to take them for a drive to where it pleased us. After driving the second vehicle Justin came out and we discussed the car. Justin was very straightforward with us. The car was newly inspected and the oil changed. We decided to buy the car on the spot. Justin then stayed longer to complete all the paperwork. A few days after purchase the check engine light came on. We called and Justin had us come in to have it looked out. The bad sensor was changed quickly and no charge. I would go back there again for the great sale and service!!

Can't say enough good about the customer service we received, and the personal attention we have gotten, when we have purchased our vehicles or had to resolve any service issues. I would highly recommend Memorial Highway Chevrolet to any and all of my family and friends, which I have done, and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks to all the staff at this dealership for all your hard work and help in making our personal experience with your dealership a 100% positive one. We will always purchase from this dealership in the future.

Ater signing all the paperwork they had washed the vehicle and when leaving after the purchase I went to the passenger side of the vehicle and that's when I noticed the bubbling in the paint. I asked the salesman what this and his comment was that it was typical on the Rubicon. Now I feel they knew the rust was there but did a good job of hiding it from me. I just went and got an estimate for the repairs and the cost is $7000.00. I paid $30,000 for a rust bucket. I should have inspected mor thoroughly, but I feel they should have made me aware of this issue from the start.

After looking over the lot there wasn't a single vehicle i even wanted. All crappy prices and high mileage, asked about a car and was told it was a hybrid, even though i own the same car and its not. Then the mechanics came out and started wispering to each other and giggling like they were 5 years old. If only they knew i actually work on cars, and i wonder if they would have giggled when i pulled out my professional ODB2 scanner to look over the piece of junk car they are trying to sell. Honestly doubt it. So if you want a car that was bought at auction and up priced big time this is the place to go, just hope the transmission don't fall put 15 min after you leave. Do yourself a favor and go someplace that adults work on cars and if you're going to buy one, go buy it at the auction yourself and save money, you will be putting more money into it soon anyway. My advice, only go here if you're desperate, if i could rate them zero stars i would.

I immediately contacted Sean in who which responded "it should be OK stop back when you have time, probably an o2 sensor" This merely confirms he had knowledge of the already existing issue but cleared the light/code before selling it. He was nice enough to cover the fee for inspection since it had run out. However, when I took it to get inspected the garage would not pass it due to it needing- Brakes, Rotors AND Tires. So not only did I purchase a vehicle with pre-existing mechaninical issues, but it wasn't even street legal. After the garage and I contacted Sean he did buy the needed parts to allow it to pass inspection. I asked about the o2 sensor since it was still under warranty (30 days or 1,000 miles / dealer pays 10% cost of part and labor) and his response was "we'll worry about that later." Come to find out not only did it need an oxygen sensor but a catalytic converter. Definitely not cheap repairs which only leaves me to believe they were avoided and hidden intentionally so it became someone else's/my problem. Sean mentioned to me the vehicle was used for personal use by his daughter and wife and his wife ended up rear-ending another vehicle and had to replace a few parts. Not a big deal considering there weren't any perminant problems. I noticed the car had a remote starter installed so when asking about the fob/starter he said it must be at home and he will look for it. A month and several weeks had gone by and of course he hadn't found it which boggles my mind considering it was being used as a personal vehicle for some time. Overall absolute terrible experience especially for my first time buying a vehicle. I was nothing less than a respectable customer but I feel as if I was screwed over by a VERY POOR "businessman." After sharing my story and researching reviews, many others have had similar experiences and share the same opinion in regards to his reputation. My advice, stay clear and do your research before you buy a car.

My vehicle had been giving me some major problems as of…read morerecent and I knew that in the long haul I was going to need to shop around for another vehicle. My brother had just purchased a new vehicle from here and kept in my ear that I needed to come here. I was holding off because I didn't know if I wanted to own a Kia, I have always owned an American made vehicle and was apprehensive on buying a foreign made vehicle. I had actually been putting off the inevitable for as long as I could, I knew I needed a new vehicle and I knew it had to be soon, but I was worried about the amount I still owed on my vehicle, the negative equity and how it would effect me on the purchase of a new vehicle. But the time to sit around and do nothing was over and I had to act. I came here after much hesitation and my dad in tow. As soon as we got there we went in and went right to the desk of the guy that helped my brother, Dave. Dave was very professional during this whole endeavor. He didn't hold anything back and did not sugar coat anything. I'm already anxious because of what I am about to do, but he put me at ease. While he ran my information I went out to the lot to look at vehicles and see what tickled my fancy. I had a few in mind and went in to see what the numbers were looking like. He cut through all the possibles and told me that my best option was to purchase a new vehicle because of a few things. Rebates, trade in value of my vehicle, and the negative equity that I would be carrying over. I knew it would come to that, so I was already preparing myself. With that he showed me some options as to what vehicles were within my preferences that I showed up with. I wanted something that was all wheel drive, decent on gas mileage, and was an SUV. He pulled up a vehicle up front a few minutes later and told me to take it for a test drive. I got in and felt like it was a good match. I know you are not suppose to fall in love with the first thing you see, but this felt right. It was quiet, clean, a smooth ride, and basically everything I was looking for in one vehicle. After the test drive I looked that vehicle over from head to toe, inside and out. Making sure that this was what I wanted because I knew this was going to be my life for the next several years. Went inside and followed up with the paper work. That always take a few minutes so they started it while I was out test driving. There wasn't much of a wait for me on that part. The only wait was to see what banks were going to come back with approval and interest rates. I got the best rate I have ever had on a vehicle with this turn. While they were finalizing the vehicle I went out to my current vehicle and gathered up everything that was in there so I could transfer it over. When the paperwork went through and all the signing was done, I got my keys for my first ever, new purchased vehicle. I ended up walking out of there with my hands full. Manual, keys, hat, business cards for contact info, papers...my head was buzzing, I felt like I was on a high. But that's not where the amazing professionalism stopped. Dave walked out to my new vehicle with me and showed me how everything in it worked. From lights to the touch screen radio, he did not let me leave there until I had a basic knowledge of where everything was in the car. They also gave it a quick once over in the vehicle, making sure it was clean, they would have washed the exterior for me if it wasn't raining that day. Great customer service continues after the purchase. The first oil change is on them. And if you continue to go back for your oil changes you pay for three and get the fourth free. I also believe that state inspections are done for free here with the time your own the car. I definitely felt at ease with such a trying and anxiety filled endeavor. What vehicle did I get you ask? 2020 Kia Sportage...a perfect fit for me.
