I had just taken my car into a different shop last week and they must have forgotten to screw this piece back in all the way. I pulled over and called Barnes Body Shop 20 min before they closed. I asked them if I could really quickly drive my car to their shop to get a quick repair done - they agreed and upon arriving, they were extremely nice about it all, fixed it quickly and efficiently, and refused payment even after I insisted. My wife brought her Chevrolet in for service. The service department immediately told her she…read moreneeded a new engine and tried to sell her a $7000 engine. This was not the case at all. They then said it has a leak but they were not sure where it's leaking so they have to replace all the gaskets. After over $3000 later, and a week staying in a hotel, the engine is leaking coolant again. When my wife contacted the service manager Jordan, he was rude and would not take responsibility for fixing the issue. He said to bring it to a Chevrolet dealership where we live at in Michigan, and they would fix it for free. This was absolutely not true. The entire service department was rude and just wanted to make money. I would highly recommend avoiding this place for any kind of service on your vehicle.
