Dr. S. takes the time and his first question is, How are you, not what insurance do you have? His office is usually busy but with several generations of Perdo patients who know the well kept secret of his mature, responsible and nurturing care. His staff is busy but professional. If something is urgent but not an emergency talk to them. They won't move you to to first in line but will certainly work you in with reason. Not a 2 month out appointment. I started seeing him many years ago after a friend from the Medical Staff Office at the hospital recommended him. She was very familiar with all the doctors on staff at that hospital and said he was top of the line. Dr. Greenberg has never disappointed me. He and Deanna (his assistant) never rush through my appointment. I feel very well cared for each and every time whether it's an office visit or a very quick return call or email. So what made me finally review on Yelp? I found myself in NYC very sick. While I was laying in a bed at a very highly related hospital in Manhattan, I was on the phone with Dr. Greenberg. He is the only provider that helped me. He called in the meds I needed. They were the right meds and I finally started to get better ... no thanks whatsoever to this "highly rated" ER. When I finally got back home, the office got me in to see Dr. Greenberg within 2 days. He and Deanna both spent a very long time with me. By the time I left, I felt confident that I had been given the best possible care. Tests were ordered and before I even got home, the scheduler had called me to schedule my test and I was given an appointment for the test the very next day. As if all that isn't enough, the office staff are always so kind, and the office isn't overloaded with sick patients in the waiting room. I am so grateful to Dr. Greenberg for returning my call and email so quickly while I was in NYC and so sick. If he hadn't, I'm not sure what would have happened.

They squeeze you in and they work with you! They listen and actually take the time and know what they're doing. The care is amazing! The doctors really care and they go above and beyond especially Dr. Jason. The staff too they're amazing the receptionists and the Call Center, Alex is awesome. I have never had a better experience with any Dr in the past 20 years! They are on top of everything and they treat you like a human being which a lot of doctors don't do. I'm glad the medication isn't needed to survive or I'd be in trouble. Optum corporate will be hearing from me. I chose Dr. Torna as my primary care physician and made multiple attempts to schedule an appointment. Initially, I was told she was out of the office until March (this was early January). Now it is April or May, which, while inconvenient, might have been manageable. Unfortunately, my interactions with the front office, specifically with Rachel, made the situation unacceptable. I encountered rudeness during my first in-person visit when I was ill shortly after the holidays, again during a phone call when trying to schedule an appointment with the nurse practitioner, and once more during a recent call. Each interaction was unpleasant and left me feeling dismissed rather than cared for. I never had the opportunity to meet Dr. Torna, who may very well be an excellent physician. However, at this stage in my life, I am unwilling to tolerate consistently rude or negative interactions simply to access care. If Dr. Torna happens to read this, I would strongly encourage a review of front-office staffing, as the first point of contact sets the tone for the entire patient experience.

Dr. Greenberg and his staff, Kennedy and Blanca, are THE best at helping people like us who have a medical problem and need answers. And Dr. Greenberg called us at home many times: Thanksgiving Day, and two Sundays to give us lab and pathology reports, and to discuss the reasoning behind the next steps in the diagnosis and treatment of our problem.
