As I was talking to Bianca about what concealer would best suit me, she used this device that takes pictures of my neck, cheek and forehead and she entered the information into the iPad, which then told her what my shade is, so she picked up a concealer from Cover FX, and it covered my acne scars well. Next, I asked her about lipstick and she suggested the Kat Von D lipstick in the color 'Damned'. After that, she gave me some useful advice on how to apply concealer, and other types of makeup such as foundation, etc. However, I'm disappointed at the fact that this store barely keeps their items stocked up, which is infuriating, but I still like the store for good service and excellent associates. Customer service is great typically across associates however, I noticed different managerial styles in my 3-4 visits to to this establishment. When one manager/ associate is there she chats with you, helps, leads you to product etc, then goes about her business. On the other hand each shopping experience with manager 2, after being greeted, I'm followed down each isle, by whomever the secondary employee is at the time. Like literally hovered around me while shopping with arms folded. I mean literally, I see her in my peripheral, just standing there. If i were to bend down a pick up something I'd bump her It's EXTREMELY uncomfortable!! I understand asset protection but this is not the best method at all. The decor of the studio was neat and cute but It missed something : I don't feel they gave us an experience. We had to ask questions about the company and product. No one broke down the story or educated us on everything they offered. When asked what was the lipstick made of ? ..... both artist looked confused and handed us each an ingredient sheet. Giving me the feeling they didn't know what was in it! I will say our artist was sweet and helpful, she offered suggestions on how to obtain the desired colors but she didn't walk us step by step on how it all works. (not in detail) this would have created a more engaging experience. I love the idea of this business and think it's an amazing concept.... but the experience is what sales and we walked out paying 28 buck( social media discount) and not really sure what we paid for. That lipstick quickly became my favorite, so when I lost it I had to replace it! I stopped back in this past Saturday and they were able to pull up my old recipe and re-create it on the spot! Since I was there, I decided to get some help with my foundation issues. At the age of 41 I have just begun to wear foundation, and the goop I bought at CVS just didn't match my face. I walked out with a "Magic Wand" that really does cover my dark under eye spots without making me look wrinkly, custom foundation with SPF, some kind of fairy dust that makes my face look pore-less, and my two lipsticks. I also walked out with a ton of tips and tricks that taught me how to use some of the cosmetics I already invested in. All the products are natural, and the stylist explained what each was made of, how to apply, and why it was good for my face. (Their products follow form and function). That night I got carded (woo hoo!). The next day I went to a fancy schmancy restaurant in DC and the hostess told me my eyes "popped." Prices are in line with what you would pay at a department store makeup counter, but Smooch Studio products are CUSTOM and CLEAN! Plus its locally owned and such a fun place to visit.

I've cancelled several prescriptions multiple times. I don't know if they don't care enough to actually follow through or what the issue is, but also when I pick up they don't tell you what you're picking up before you pay. After you pay for it they won't refund, even if it's their fault for filling something you've cancelled. Shouldn't the pharmacist also be looking at all your prescriptions before they fill it and catching it if you're getting an abnormal amount of the same med? I really don't know, but they just don't seem to care. I would not recommend using this as your pharmacy.

The cost of my original monitor was $85.99 and I exchanged it for one priced at $59.99. The exchange went well but, since this was medical equipment, I had to take the $15 difference as a gift card. Annoying but not a deal breaker, until I went to redeem the card. It was valued at $1.00 and there was no possibility of disputing the value without both the original and the exchange receipts. Yet another time that Walgreen's policies and practices cost me either time or money.
