They did it again! They went and made me the best pulled pork samich I've ever had. It was absolutely amazing. Again. Never had Mac n Cheese other than outta the box. And you can see and smell the meat smmmmoking as you pull in to park. I just knew my food was going to be off the chain! Mrs Carrol and Mr Terrell are the owners. Tried restaurant for first time based on reviews. Ordered 1 slab of ribs . Ribs were cut into single bones, unexpected for full slab order. 2 brisket sandwiches and 1 large pork hot links. I was very disappointed . Order was expensive.$87 dollars. I guess because items automatically come with sides.I ended up with 2 small coleslaws which were very good. A ton of French fries that were cold.and covered with watery sauce . Brisket sandwiches were large and drenched with sauce to the point where you couldn't pick sandwich up without it falling apart. Tasted like pot roast. I found out that there were other selections for sides which they don't offer unless you request them, hot links were overcooked and dried out . Great bbq! I did a sizable order for the Super Bowl and it was all on point. Just as a tip, the accompanying sides are a little smaller. So I would suggest ordering a full side. But the sauce and meat were great. I'll be back for sure. read more

My rib tips got missed from my Uber Eats order and when the staff realized what had happened thecalled me before my order arrived to me. A Hidden Gem in Monee! My mom and I visited Terrell's Eat the Bone BBQ on the morning of July 3rd, right after they opened at 11 AM. This place came highly recommended by my sister-in-law, so we made the drive out to Monee--and it was well worth it! As soon as we pulled up, we saw the smoke and grills working out back, and I knew we were in for something special. Inside, we were warmly greeted--I'm pretty sure by the wife of the "Magic Man" on the grill--and we took our time looking over the menu before ordering. I had the mini tip/hot link combo with coleslaw, and my mom ordered the small tip dinner with baked beans and coleslaw. When the food arrived, it was piping hot and smelled amazing. After the first bite, we both agreed--these were hands down the most tender rib tips we've ever had! Perfectly seasoned, wood-smoked, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Honestly, I now understand the name, Eat the Bone BBQ** says it all! The hot links had a great kick, the baked beans were flavorful, and the coleslaw was crisp and fresh--everything hit the mark. The Grill Master even came out to personally check on us, which was a great touch and shows how much they care about their customers. Inside, the setup was inviting and fun--some tables even had little games to play while you wait. I wouldn't be surprised if they host karaoke or events on the weekends--there's definitely a good vibe here. This might just be Monee's best-kept secret, but not for long! I called 11/14/2024 at 4pm and tried placing an order for ribs. I was advised they were all out of ribs. I called 11/15/2024 at 6pm, the lady on the phone said, "Hello," and before I could order she hung up. I called immediately again and the lady answered, so I tried ordering ribs again. The lady on the phone said they were all sold out of ribs. I couldn't understand how could they be out. I responded, "Wow, I called yesterday and you were out of ribs. I so wanted to like this place. 1) was a little surprised they are take out only. And only open 3 days a week. 2) price I thought was good, at first. 3) Now to the important stuff: the food. a) I had the ribs, cooked properly. Were NOT fall off the bone over cooked crap you get at other places. But, they didn't have all that much smoke flavor. But still very good. b) meals come with slaw, fries and a piece of bread. The slaw was good. I have no idea if the fries were good ot not. A fairly watery bbq sauce was dumped in the to go package. So they were as soggy as soggy gets. Nobody wants soggy ass fries. The 2 star rating is based solely on their inability to package to go orders. If you ate going to be to go only, figure it out. Put the bbq sauce in one of the plastic ramekins that the slaw goes in. We have had it a few times with mixed thoughts. The pulled pork sandwich was really good. However the brisket had a lot of fat and not the good kind of brisket fat. It seems that it wasn't cooked long enough and the fat didn't render properly. The meat wasn't tender enough either. These two things make me think that it needed longer cooking time. The French fries tasted like they were left over from the day before. The greens had a really bad flavor and were inedible. When my son took a bit of the greens, he made an awful noise that I could hear on the other side of the house and spit them out. I tried eating mine and only got through a couple of bites before giving up. I know that good greens taste like and can give them my recipe if they want it. Finally got around to trying Eat The Bone.. Ordered takeout on a Wed, not thinking things through...they are open Wed-Sat. The food was pretty much inedible. Ribs and Tips totally dried out, couldnt even chew up the tips, this is no exaggeration. Half of the rib meat couldnt be removed from the bone. Spent $75 and couldnt even get fresh fries. There were two bright spots thank goodness. The brisket taco was delicious and the girl that took my order was helpful and friendly. The meats did have good smoke flavor. The woman sitting behind the counter was not at all friendly and muttered while another woman and I were waiting for our food which were both phoned in..."well y'all both ordered brisket at the same time...." Nobody had even made a comment about the wait.... I guarantee that the food that was served to us was leftover and had been rewarmed more than once since this is their first service day of the week. I should have known better. The fact is that they know the quality of food that they are serving and the price and still chose to send it out. Bad decision. I ordered the grilled chicken and turkey hot link. The meat was good however the fries were horrible and hard. The fries looked like they had potential but inedible. I believe I had read a review that had stated that prior to ordering but was thinking that review was just an isolated incident but the fries on both orders were inedible. The bbq sauce to me is good it is watery like some reviews stated but it had a good taste to me. All and all the bbq meat is good and worth a try just know you may have to find an alternate side item. read more

I can only speak to the quality of their Chili, as I haven't tried any other menu items. I can tell you that their Smokehouse Brisket Chili is some of the best Chili I've ever had anywhere. Was not impressed. Ribs were dry and very tough. The sauce was poured on before serving and Not cooked in. I had the take out order and my fries were on the bottom swimming in BBQ sauce, I like crisp fries not soggy. My coleslaw was put in the hot container and was very warm and inedible. Actually I ordered 3 dinners and not one us of cared for it. Not worth the $54.00. I will deal with the Orland Park Traffic and go to The Patio next time for the same price.
