Queso App Dip - Creamy, Smooth and Really good with the green salsa and chips. You got my vote Went for the MiniTacos -2ea Asada/Pastor. When we walked in the vibe was amazing it was clean and well decorated they immediately brought us to our table even with our party of eight. Once we were seated we were meet with chips and salsa with were good. After we got situated the server asked us for our drink orders and brought them back quickly. After we ordered our food it took them about ten minutes to bring it out. The food taste is what brought the review down, when I tasted the food it didn't seem likely the right blend of ingredients. We went back for lunch because it was so good! My buddy tried the octopus tacos this time. I had the ribeye tacos. They were good, but those octopus tacos are out of this world! He's a chef currently and I used be. I've tried octopus many other places too. And this up in the top of my favs. And the Smokey salsa they have complimentary with the chips, taste like straight fire pit smoke! So good! read more

VIBE: First thing you need to know is they play the music very loud here but that's the vibe they are going for, to explain the vibe more, we saw tables ordering shots and when they were brought over, the song "shots" ft Little John plays and all the staff bring your shots to your table while clapping and yelling "SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS". The first time it happened we thought "ok that's a little annoying", but by the 5th time we were IN TO IT and already planning which visiting friends and family we would take here and NOT tell them that was going to happen when we ordered shots. Not sure if it's a specific thing you have to order or if you're having a special occasion they do it for (it looked like larger groups) but it was fun! ATMOSPHERE: interior has a secret garden vibe, lots of green; very cool place for midland. SERVICE: very attentive service from hostess and waitress, checked on us several times and water glasses were kept full. All the staff were very friendly. Food came out in good time as well and it was a busy Friday night when we went. FOOD: this is not a typical Mexican or Tex-mex restaurant so if you're looking for that you may be disappointed! The salsas they start you with are not traditional and it was fun to try something so different. We liked the carrot pico the best and the negra salsa was very flavorful but a little salty for us. The avocado cream salsa was a little thin for our liking. We had a hard time picking what to eat because a lot of the items Just didn't jump out at us but it's a very eclectic fusion menu that adventurous foodies will appreciate. The sushi rolls were all fried and we don't like fried rolls so we skipped those. We settled on the fish and the shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were amazing. The little cups on the side are cilantro lime rice and it was so buttery and delicious it was a great addition to the meal. Our waitress and food was good but we got SCAMMED. Why does the restaurant have a guy going around taking photos of people and then charging them $20 without telling them. My friend and I ate there today and it was going good until a man came up and asked to take a photo of us. Look, I and someone who is always on edge of scammers, and don't even normally tend to interact with people who seem like they might scam me, but when the freak does that happen inside a nice restaurant. We said sure, thinking it was for the social media. He came back 10 minutes later and just put the photo on our table, I said thanks and went back to eating. He just sat there and stared at us?? If you're gonna scam me, at least say something. My friend finally asked if it was something we had to pay for, he said $20. We said we didn't know we had to pay for it and didn't want it (also why would we want a photo of us eating, it wasn't even posed nicely, it looked like your grandma just snapped a photo of you and your sibling just sitting there). He said he would give us a deal for $10 and my friend paid him bc it was SO uncomfortable. I won't ever go back because there are so many other good restaurants and I should never feel uncomfortable by a worker and/or get scammed. read more

This was our first time to try Terrazzita. The atmosphere was really fun and the turned the music volume up every time someone ordered a round of shots as if to celebrate, which really added a good vibe to the whole place. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. The manager stopped by and said he wanted to make sure we loved our experience there and asked for feedback. Great food and great service!! I sat at the bar because I was alone and the bartender was very attentive and helpful.

The service was excellent. The food was delicious and the salsas were unique. Most of the dishes served to my friends were a bit salty for my taste. My fried red snapper was amazing. It was missing the orange sauce showing on the menu description, but salsas and limes were available. I had an amazing tequila drink. The place is clean and the menu is unique. The smell of Fabuloso knocks you out at the front door, not Mexican food. Three of us in our family ordered 3 different meals and we all agreed the food was terrible. We literally ordered tacos and enchiladas thinking that would be safe, it wasn't. The salsas are strange. Queso is fondue like, without the heat so the cheese gets hard. Terrible experience! I ordered fried fish tacos and they had no fish inside the "fish strips" were the size of my pinky. The tortilla was cold. The "fish" was just greasy batter. I returned them to the kitchen for a different plate and they still tried charging me the fish tacos I didn't eat claiming they did actually have fish when I checked every single one splitting them in half and it was all batter. The food was fine, a little pricey for what it was. I went for a business lunch and lost my receipt and have called several times to get a copy. Other restaurants have no issue with that.
