I needed a drink after I did a presentation... And hey it was Friday afternoon so why not? I went to this place with my friend because of the terrace and spectacular view of the Duomo. The views did not disappoint of the Duomo and the square in Milan... The place is trendy and modern with many choices of cocktails. The cocktails are a bit pricey ... Around €12 but you get the typical food that comes with drinks so that was ok. I got a spritz fruit.... The drink was good at first with a fruity flavour but it had a bitterness that I didn't care for so I didn't enjoy the drink much. It had seeds that looks like from passion fruit but the bitter after taste just didn't do it for me so it ruined the entire drink. Being that it was €12 I wasn't about to waste the drink so I drakes it all anyway... It's alcohol right? The one big downside of this place is the staff. Yea, we didn't really wait to get a table but it took ages for a staff to get our drink order. The staff needs to learn how to be more attentive especially since you would think they want u to order more than one drink! Due to the slow service I just wanted to get out and go somewhere else to get drinks. This place would be so much better if the staff were better and got my drinks faster... Just saying! read more

I've never visited an Aperol bar before. Even though my favorite drink is Aperol Spritz. So when I went to Milan, I knew that the Aperol Terrazza was a must. Luckely the weather was perfect this day. We were sitting outdoors with a great view of Di Doumo. We tried two different sorts of Aperol drinks. Everytime you ordered a drink you recieved some homemade crisps as well. One confusing thing, was that when we came to this bar the waiter explained to us how the prices were during the day. And when we were going to pay, before leaving another waiter wanted to charge us more than the amount that we were supposed to pay. Which was quite annoying frankly. But at the end we payed the correct amount. Except that little incident. Everything else was good. read more

Terrazza Aperol - Aperol Spritz a warm day in Milan. Perfect! - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Milan, Michigan

I'm generally not a fan of touristy places and this was no exception. The building that this is housed in has more intersting places to eat and explore. Yes, this faces the Duomo and the sunsets are amazing. With that, expect to wait especially towards sun down and for the patio. The sunset early in October so we must have arrived around 4pm. We were able to queue up on the stairs before being brought into a sitting room. We were also fortunate to be seated on the patio overlooking the Duomo, however not at the wall's edge which is fine. Everyone gets up and "instas" their drinks, etc. It was quite funny at times. Some mezzes also arrived - gummy bear, chips, etc. We actually did not want them and opted not eat them. My SO ordered the Spritz and I had a Coke. Spritz is definitely European and I feel, an acquired taste. I think it tastes like orange cold medicine. The scene is varied to the well dressed all the way to sloppy tourists. It's definitely a place to say you tried once. We did not order any other food and beverages after the requisite photos. It's nice to relax if for a bit, but the stress goes up just waiting to be seated. Take the tip from other Yelpers and get drink at bar and take a photo and go. There are other places you could visit that would provide a much better experience. Service was slow even by Italian standards. read more

I could not recommend this place less. First, this place is incredibly overpriced. The food was unimpressive and took forever to come out. We had to remind the waiter to bring us our food three times, and then he brought us 2 sandwiches we did not order and charged us anyways. The staff was rude and unhelpful. This place is nothing more than a tourist trap. Don't come. read more

Great bar scene. Beautiful Duomo views. You are literally sitting on the side of the Duomo on a balcony and have a clear view of everything. Uncomfortable furniture to sit or stand by. Just a bit weird. Very crowded which is not necessarily a bad thing. Waited 20 minutes but that's a lot for Italy. Usually you're seated within minutes even without reservations or at least that was our experience. Tapas style food which was average. Rude staff!!!!!! No customer service at all. Ok drinks. Music was great! read more

If anyone wants to die young with one or two bad lungs, please go to this place. If someone just want to drink without any food and get ready to vomit, please go to this place. Those people will have a lot of fun at this place. Coming to Milan, there are more unique and wonderful places except this place. The service was horrible. They were over staffed and the service is poor. read more

Great views of Duomo. Many Aperol and Campari cocktails. Chips and tapas included with drinks but tapas after 6pm. If terrace is full there are couches and tables inside. Modern design of bar very unique. Would definitely come again if ready to relax and have a few drinks with no hurry. read more

Hey guys I came to the place wanting to have lots of fun when I'm on vacation. Unfortunately when I was here security got very aggressive and hit my wife trying to have us escorted outside because we were dancing on the rooftop unbelievable. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I hate to leave such a bad review but this place need to check there security to make sure they don't put HAND ON WOMEN. NOT OKAY !!! read more

They were really rude to us. They brought every other table appertivi but ours for some reason. The waiter spilt our drink and didn't apologize or replace it. It took almost 30 minutes for us to get our drinks. We also ordered a bottle of water and they only brought us one glass. read more

Drinks were good and the homemade potato chips were excellent. Unfortunately, we missed food service but the view of the duomo in Milan was worth the visit. read more

Great view of the duomo but horrible service. The staff was rude to us and even talked smack in Italian as if we couldn't understand, unprofessional. Snobby, will not return. No grazie. The only plus was that we saw the beautiful Christmas tree light up at night! 2 drinks came our to EUR 16. read more

If you like low-cost airline food then I highly recommend you Aperol Terrazza. The view is indeed really nice but there are a lot of places you can go in Milan to see the Duomo without having to eat such terrible food. I had the lasagnas and it seemed that they were coming directly from the microwave to the table. Really horrible. There are so many great places in Milan to eat just don't waste your time to eat at Aperol Terrazza. read more

Awful service. This is the first time I have ever encountered rude service in Italy. We had to chase someone down just for drink orders and then were told tapas are not available though it states it on the menu and subsequently provided to other tables. I expected the high prices given the location but the rude service and ignorance of the staff is unspeakable by any standards. The equally rude Asian lady who pushed my family to skip the entrance line deserves this. Everyone else don't waste your time. read more

They were so rude to us. They have every table a snack except for us. The lady walked right by with extra and still did not give us any. Then we asked for some and they never came. There is a bar next door go there instead. read more

One of the worst services we ever experienced. The waitress messed up our order and blamed us for it and even lied about it infront of her supervisor. Finally we left after 30 min without having a drink. read more

I was very excited to come here, mostly because of my love for aperol and incredible view of the Duomo & piazza. I read about and wanted to experience the classic Milanese aperitivo and the Terrazza's "tapas". We arrived and did not wait long to be seated outside. The waiter came and took our order, got the drinks in about 10 minutes. However, our "tapas" never arrived. We asked several times and were told they were on the way. "Stano arrivando," said every waiter we asked. We ordered our second round of drink, which took about 20 minutes to come this time, and still no sight of our tapas. Everyone around us was enjoying theirs, even people who arrived after us. A woman came by handing out chips, but passed right by us as if we were invisible. Finally our tapas came after once again asking. We were very disappointed. read more

The place is perfectly situated, also the view is fascinating. Right next to the Duomo u can enjoy a beautiful view. Yet, I would NOT RECOMMEND this place at all. The waiter was highly impolite and rude, sort of arrogant with his outrageous attitude. His mode of expression is unconscionable and it's kind of incomprehensible why such a person is working in the service. Paying 13 Euro for an Aperol one can certainly expect better service. Even for a free aperol this behavior would not be justified. There are other terraces with the same stunning views, and without this terrible staff. Do yourself and your nerves a favor and AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!! read more
