There is a line to get in but you can make some friends while waiting as most of them are tourists, seating at the terrace at this place is a must as it has wonderful views of Il Duomo, the aperol spritz is the way to go and it comes with a big sampler platter for snacks. The food was good too, will definitely come back here

Go for the view!! After visiting the Duomo, my family was tired and quite thirsty from climbing up and down all those stairs. Wanted to eat on a terrace to enjoy the sunny day. Walked in and we were so lucky to share a beautiful mid afternoon lunch with a priceless view. Drinks come with a plate of appetizers. Ordered a mocktail and the vegetarian appetizers. The mocktail was so delicious and refreshing. No drinks for my family. They ordered a variety of burgers, chicken Caesar salad, salmon club sandwich and a cheese pizza. My vegetarian appetizer had meatballs with pork. Oops. Asked for the vegetarian instead...again. Waited and waited and waited. Munched on the sandwich with olives. Ate the crisp with pesto. Was told that they don't have a vegetarian option. Flagged our amazing waitress, Melody, who finally fixed my order. Note: Be ready to relax and take in the view. Service is slow. The drinks including mocktails do come with a plate of appetizers. Mine was a deal at 11 Euros plus a service fee. Bathrooms are outside and required a credit card for payment.
The Aperol Terrazza experience in Milano is a bit cold. The servers seem upset to be at work and there is a rough staff vibe across this business that is just as bitter as Aperol itself. We did get the only kind server who asked why we were sitting so deeply inside and she told us it's because the front of house guy was just 'too mean'. He was annoyed but we were grateful to be there. Please speak to your staff about this. On the positive side we had the best drinks and for the high price point we were given a small amount of items to accompany the drinks. The murals are beautiful and of course the view of the piazza - we just wish the staff would match the quality of Aperol as it reflects sadly on the brand from beginning to end.

The wait is long for the outdoor seating area. We were seated quickly if we sat inside. We sat by a glass door that has a small terrace area and were able to take great pictures. So it didn't matter we weren't reacted outside. It is very busy as people come up here for the view of the Duomo and also to try new Sarti Spritz. Our server was great. A few more friends joined us later and they helped them accommodate themselves next to us. The salad was ok. You come here for the drinks and the view, not the food. I had a nice time.
A touristy & pricey spot but I thought it was worth it!! The views of the Duomo, the overall vibes inside (the whole place is aperol themed), and the generous free snacks they provide make the experience worth the 20 euro aperol spritzes in my opinion. The aperol spritz was delicious and very sweet, without being too strong with the alcoholic flavor. I honestly really enjoyed the free snacks they came with! They were all very tasty and paired well with the drinks. We sat near the outside patio on a sunny day and the ambiance was divine. Service here is quite slow/not super attentive given the nature of the place, so you do have to really intentionally flag down someone when you want to pay. We didn't have to wait for a table inside, but the line to sit outside was quite long. Pro tip: you can still get a great view of the duomo & have great photo ops if you sit inside near the patio!

It would be one of the most expensive aperol spritz you will have in the city, though it comes with snacks that were just ok, it's good to stop by to check out the vibe and the ambiance. It's true that snagging a table outdoor can take a while, but even with seats indoor you can step outside to take in the beauty of the duomo and take pics. The inside is well decorated with everything aperol spritz. There was a DJ playing too so that added to the vibe of at the terrazza.
If you're in Milano you naturally have to go to the Terrazza Aperol, a true staple near the Duomo. Yes, this place is a tourist trap and ig trap, but guess what, it IS worth it. You're getting the best views from the top with a nice refreshing drink. Of course, if you're in Italy, a delicious spritz is found anywhere but you definitely would by default have to drink one here too. I mean, the whole place is Aperol themed and their branding is on point. They do serve other types of cocktails but of course, Aperol wins them all. Your cocktail comes with a tray of little apps for you to enjoy (but this is a traditional and normal thing anytime you take aperitivo). I would take half a star off just for the outrageous prices for an Aperol Spritz (given that you can get one for $5 almost anywhere in Italy) but either way, we're not here to compare. This is piazza Duomo, the views are incredible (especially if you sit outside), the place is a whole vibe. Lines are always queuing up but it's definitely moving. I'm not saying this is the best place for a drink in Milano but if you do find yourself here, you have to do it at least once.
This place is a hidden gem! It was recommended to us by a local. You do have to wait a while in the line, but it is totally worth it! Especially for us, because we got a balcony seat with a view of the Duomo. We went during happy hour, so it was a double bonus! We of course got the Aperol spritz, which is their specialty and it came with a little snack plate. Appertivo time! Was so good!! I'd definitely go again! Service was great as well they were very nice!
When in Rome--I mean, Milan, right?? This is a super cute cocktail bar that has everything aperol, so it's a must when in Italy! Yes, there will likely be a line to sit on the outside terrace, however, even if you get a table inside, you can still go out and snap a few pics for the gram, so beat the line and tell the host you don't mind sitting inside! You will save a lot of time--let's face it, that pic of your aperol spritz in front of the Duomo is what you're here for anyways!

Great photo op especially at night!!! And let us not forget....a great place for an Aperol spritz or two or three!! The theme of this bar is Aperol spritz meaning Aperol spritz decor, color scheme and of course the drink that started it all...THE APEROL SPRITZ!!!! Totally a tourist trap but like I mentioned earlier, it's a great photo op especially at night. There was no wait to get in so we were seated right away on the terrace. We had the most spectacular view of the Duomo. We each ordered two Aperol spritz and they were strong and very tasty. They also served us some snacks which came with the drinks and those were pretty tasty too. Though we came late night, it was pretty hot still. So if you're visiting here in the summer, bring a fan. It will literally save your life. If you're in Milan and want a good Aperol and take some pretty pictures, come here. read more

Honestly, not as bad as I thought. The drinks were a bit pricey, but it actually was a better Aperol than other places I tried the drink at. It wasn't too bitter or sweet. The drink was well balanced. The pricing was around €25-35 euros. However, each drink came with small bites. You can't book a reservation, it's first come first serve. We waited in line for a while and they ended up seating us. There were other groups they couldn't accommodate I think they may have had too large of a party. There are restrooms but you have to request a ticket they validate just to use the bathroom. Depending on your seat you might get a lovely view of the Cathedral or not. Overall I personally liked my experience here! read more

Wonderful view of duomo but pretty overrated. Great place to go for the experience but the Aperol Spritz was just ok and overprice. The aperitivo was ok and servers were just ok. read more
It was so nice to chill at this terrace bar right next to the Duomo and I'm glad I did it, but the food and drinks here are incredibly bad I don't even know how it's possible The appetizers came with the drinks, but even the mozzarella tasted so sad. Mocktails were like straight up syrup. I don't know what happened but I guess it's give and take. Here for the views! read more

Even though there was a line, we were sat within 10 minutes because we were also ordering food. If you are only there for drinks, it may be a little longer wait as there is also an appetizer included with your drink order. The view of Duomo is stunning. Only recommendation would be to trim the tree/bushes, the view is why we picked this spot, so a clear view would be amazing. Food and service were great. Enter via Il Mercado Duomo and take the electric stairs up or elevator. read more

I'll start with the wait, for two people we needed to come back, twice. They were just not sitting couples. When we finally did get seated, we waited 20 minutes for our server. The food did come out quick but it was cold. The only thing that justifies this rooftop, is the view. It's spectacular, just over looking Duomo di Milano Cathedral, gorgeous! read more
We came to this rooftop because we wanted to see the view of the Domo, the view was incredible. However, you could only see the view from a select number of tables on the rooftop. Be aware of this, and you do not get to choose where you want to sit. It's random. When we showed up we had to wait in about 10 to 15 minute line to be seated. Once we were seated it took a few minutes to Have the waiter take our order. They brought us these little snacks, with our drinks, most places that give you snacks with drinks in Europe are free, however, at the end of our bill we were charged for the snacks, which we never wanted in the first place. I recommend that if you do not want the snacks, you either ask them not to bring it, or you do not eat it, so you are not charged. They were not good anyways. The aperol spritz was OK. The prices though, were extremely over priced I personally wouldn't come back. read more

I'm not sure why everyone's upset about this place- we wandered in, and were given specifics immediately: 13 euro for a drink and apps (which is roughly normal during 'HH' time), but with an INCREDIBLE view and attentive service. 9 euro for another drink. The chips came out as a giant tray as they were made fresh, and continued through the evening. When they brought out the app plate, my friend was missing a slice of pizza. Later they brought out a few more pieces for us. I love this place! They were quite accommodating. read more
We waited about ten minutes to be seated at a bench in the sun in August. We ordered Spritz's. They were pretty good but expensive at around 15 Euro's each. We weren't offered any complimentary snacks like other people mentioned in posts. I didn't see anyone else that just ordered drinks with snacks. The view is spectacular. However, as stated in another post...Burger King has almost the same view. This was a nice stop to relax and grab a drink after being a tourist all morning, but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise. read more

This place is terrible. Both the terrace next door as well as this one . Overpriced drinks (terrible), and the food.... If it wasn't food I'd say it's trash. But let's go with terrible. Never again. If you want a rooftop view of duomo di Milano, it's good. That's the only reason I'd say it's 1 star and not 0. read more

We went here on a Monday, shortly after arriving to Milan the day before. The views from the terrace were spectacular and provide perfect photo opportunities! They stopped serving food around 9 pm, so upon putting our names on the waitlist, we asked if we could return after grabbing a bite to eat. They obliged and let us right in upon our return. Drinks were tasty and atmosphere was superb! Customer service was great also, better than other bars we visited in Milan. I will definitely return to this spot if and when I visit Milan again. read more

Came here on a Friday night. Their deal was a spritz and aperetivo's for 15 euros. The drinks are refreshing and light. A beautiful view to enjoy the Duomo in front of the terrace. The food was simple finger food. The place was happening with a crowd of people. Good music and good vibes all in all. Would love to come back again! read more
Ermahgerd! If you MUST come here, do yourself a favor and order a drink at the bar and then take in the view from the patio. Do not, under any circumstances, try to sit down for a meal here. The service was so utterly poor that if I knew the language better I would've yelled at someone. Note: I haven't yelled in 7 years and never ever ever at waitstaff. I'm not going to wonder or make up reasons why, but our table was ignored several times over throughout the lunch. Ordered a drink after 30 minutes, got the drink (an Aperol) at 45 minutes, ordered food at 1hr10min, got the food about 1hr 40min minutes in. We were not offered the gratis chips that other tables enjoyed. The food was OK, nothing special. The view... is amazing. It really is. But, you can get it at other spots in the building. The food is better (and cheaper) at the small market/cafe a floor below and, this is true, the view is the same from the burger king two floors lower haha. Unless you really need to waste an afternoon, save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. Meals are limited when you're on vacation. You can do better. Ciao! read more
Drinks only, around 5pm on Friday. Friday evening there was about 10min wait in line...to get inside a mostly empty bar - weird. 1st drink = 12€ or so, subsequent drinks are 9€. They come w small appetizers (potato chips, some pasta, mozerella, small pizza square). No refills on chips without 2d drink order, but they are made fresh. Outside seating has "heat lamps" but they dont throw heat very far, so if it's cold - dont count on them. Beautiful view, of course. Cool 70s-ish design. Mix of music (ex: eurodancepop for 30m, then 30m of Biggie Smalls). Kids are okay as long as they are carefully corralled at your table. Most of the staff speak some english. Service is fast (for Italy) and attentive. read more

Great place to relax after spending all day taking pictures and shopping. Drinks are stout and reasonably priced. Wish staff was more attentive but great classy venue. read more
