Date of visit: May 24, 2025 I was looking for a place near our Milan apartment that we could get some authentic Italian food on our way to pick up some groceries and Signorvino fit the bill. A combination bar, restaurant, and wine store, we all found some things we enjoyed here between my carbonara, the cheese bread, and a variety of other fun dishes. My carbonara was not the best I had ever had, but it was quite tasty without being too greasy or too dry. Service was decent though I think we spoke too fast for her as we didn't get everything that we ordered, though there wasn't anything on our bill that we didn't actually receive. Intro: After hitting up a museum, we were looking for a place for a drink for happy hour. Signorvino is one of the most reviewed bars in Milan and it was within walking distance so that made our decision for us. We made our way and asked for a table for three. Service (3.5/5): They had just opened when we arrived and their outdoor patio was not yet open but we were seated at a table inside. Service in Europe overall is not the best but it's widespread. Your waiter most likely isn't going to be terribly attentive or friendly but if you track them down, you'll get what you want. Signorvino was consistent with that. Ambiance (4/5): Signorvino is interesting because it's simultaneously a bar, restaurant, and wine store. And a large one at that. It reminds me of Total Wine back in the States if they had a dining option. It's a large space, it's clean, and it's somewhat fancy. It makes for a nice dining experience. Drinks (3.5/5): We shared a bottle of red wine. They don't have specials for happy hour (aperitivo) and the prices aren't cheap. You're going to pay more here than other spots in the area. Food (3.5/5): While they don't have legit happy hour specials, they do hook you up with some complimentary snacks for aperitivo (breadsticks, bread, and olives). From there, me and my buddy shared a meat plate with some prosciutto di Parma and bread. Deli meats are always a good go-to in Italy. Overall: Nice ambiance but you're going to pay a premium. A very good restaurant on the main corso that caters to the serious wine lover. A store is contained within that offers deep discounts on multi packs. Service was very good and the food was good. Me and my wife when there Monday 17th. We ordered two antipasti. Food runner took it to wrong table. Those customers touched the plates, when the waiter realized the plate when to wrong table she and another waitress picked them up and took them to the back. I follow them from distance and notice that instead of changing the appetizers they kept the same that another customer touch and brought it back to us. I told the waitress that I saw what happens and wasn't cool. She apologized but we didn't trust the restaurant anymore at this point. Ok I officially love this place. They have such a great selection of wines and liquors, that you could get lost for days! The staff is also super friendly and really helpful. I ended up buying 5 bottles, when I only went in for 2 LOL, but I couldn't resist the selection. The Barolo is a must. So good. I'll While there, we orders burata, which was so good. It was nice and creamy. It was probably the best, I've had. They have plenty of seating inside and out. Definitely recommend checking this place out for sure. read more

After a five-week Italian Road Trip we went to Milan for a day. We've had great food, met great people and visited many many beautiful places. So far, Milan was a bit a let-down, apart from the amazing Duomo. But then this place came along and made our daytrip to Milan really worth the time. We already came in here quick before lunchtime, having a coffee and prosecco for breakfast :) We liked the atmosphere quite much and decided to come back later that afternoon. And so we did. We like this kind of "restaurant", which is actually more a combination of a wine store and a restaurant. We really loved the style and the laid-back atmosphere. Staff was nice, not rushing not pushing, really let us having a good time without time-pressure. Ok, when we ordered a glass of white and a glass of Rosé at first two glasses of White wine arrived....no Rosé. But no harm done, a little mistake, nobody got mad and we got our Rosé quickly after. Apart from that it was a wonderful afternoon here. After the wine we ordered some food: Fried Aubergines, some salumi and parma ham. All for 5 Euros a plate...which is - especially for a major town - a great price. And we ordered a bottle of Amarone, 24 Euros, which was again a very fair deal. Salumi and Aubergines were good, but the Parma ham was fantastic. Great nibbles to go with the lovely and smooth Amarone. Not the strongest and most flavourful Amarone you can get, but for 24 Euros it's worth double its price. Before leaving we bought two bottles of the amazing Limoncello "Il Convento". They sell it for 15 Euros (0.7 Litres), a real steal. We've had so many different Limoncellos over the years. And this one is our absolute favourite (we've bought it many time before). Made by monks without any additives and food colour. A wonderful liquor, be sure to get some. So, Milan was a mixed bag for us. But this place really made our day! read more

Overall the food and wines were top notch... super pleased with everything that came out. We split the cheese plate and a pasta dish. Loved everything. About 15 minutes into the meal we were approached by our waitress asking us if we could move. Bread, oil on the table, several wine glasses, plates, and silverware. We arrived in Milan and began by wandering from our hotel and into the city. Having spent some time exploring we started to feel rather thirsty and peckish, as this was a holiday and it was now after 12pm a glass of something chilled seemed in order, given we were walking what seemed to be Milan's equivalent to Regent Street out major concern was that this might be little pricey. We checked out a few places but landed on Signorvino as our first stop. As I nipped to bathroom my holiday accomplice reviewed the menu. By the time I came back I was informed she had ordered the 2nd cheapest prosecco and some meet & cheese! Great I thought.....and then I though hmmmmmm this is going to be expensive! In reality the prosecco was €10 and the platter €15, the quality of both was simply superb. We returned here a couple of times on our trip and had some aamazing wines both red and white! On Milan for the week end, it's really hot. The only thing we want is to seat down on a terrace and enjoy a fresh glass of wine and a beer. Bingo! We found this nice place on a busy street of Milan. Seating outside the waiter come to see us with a welcoming smile! He made some suggestion that we followed which were a nice platter with cheese and vegetable a glass of Italian white wine and an Italian beer. We stayed there for around an hour enjoying the time there. The food was good the drinks were fresh and the service was nice. They also sell wine so wanted to bring back something for a friend the waiter recommended a nice bottle to bring back and we had confirmation that we made a really nice choice. We could also see that they have a restaurant inside so even if it's not summer you can maybe go and try their food. It was a coincidence that we found that spot and in the beginnen I was a bit suspicious as it is very close to all the tourist spots. The location itself is very nice and the shop has an amazing offer of wine and prosecco. The restaurant/bar offers a great selection of wine and prosecco for reasonable prices. If you just have a drink you get a bunch of snacks (olives, crackers) for free. Food is not fancy but good quality for fair prices and nicely arranged. The service is really good. Great place for lunch....not too far from the Ponte Vecchio. Terrific wine choices and great salads. There is a lovely terrace with shade umbrellas with cool breezes coming off the river. We could watch the rowers on the river while enjoying a delicious and relaxing meal. We liked it so much we returned the next day! read more
