Mike, Irving and the roofing crew at Terrazas Roofing are amazing! I chose this company based on the reviews I read as well as the sincerity of the person who gave me the quote. Price was fair; was one of the lowest of the 6 quotes I received. Mike took his time in explaining the whole process and was easy to work with when I had questions before the installation. Others who came out with quotes had varying prices, tried to upsell me on things I knew I did not need then called every day asking how they could get me to sign with them. Mike made the sales process feel comfortable; no high pressure sales tactics. Once the installation started, Irving gave me progress updates in real time via text or phone call daily. The roofing crew was very respectful of my family and home. At the end of each day, they made sure the ground was clear of any debris (eg. nails, pieces of wood, etc.). When I signed the contract, I was given a window of 2-6 weeks; they were able to start our house 3 weeks after signing. It took 5 days to complete a 2700 sq. ft roof, including 1 day to remove the old shingles and 1 day for city inspection and delivery of materials. They accept several forms of payment and it was due a week after the roof was completed and passed final inspection from the city. Definitely pleased with the work done. read more

They submitted a bid for a tile reset and only had one layer of underlayment even though the slope of the roof required two layers. The other bids all had two layers. I gave this information to terrazas, but they continued to dispute it and then said in a nasty way we cancel our bid, rather than submitting a correct bid. I caution you, if you have a low slope roof terrazos will not provide sufficient protection, because they will go cheapo route, so as to be the lowest bid.... instead of doing the full amount of work required. read more

We hired Terrazas Roofing to do a roof replacement when doing an addition to the back of our house. The addition took longer than expected but we were able to get a tarp up to avoid further water damage. We selected a 50 year roof that was a bit thicker than what we had before. I'm attaching pictures of the before and after. Some roofs are more energy efficient so make sure to inquire with the city and your roofing contractor to avoid those high energy bills in the summer. Irv, the manager, did a great job getting a crew out to my house for an inspection of a trouble-spot. Oscar, repair lead, then went the extra mile to find the root cause of the problem so he could come back the next week and do the repairs the right way the first time. It took a bit longer than estimated, it took a bit more material than estimated and yet the final invoice matched the estimate to the penny. Over the holidays we discovered a leak in our roof. After having another local roofing company place a tarp over the impacted area, we began a search for a roofer to replace our entire roof. The team at Terrazas was excellent from top to bottom. First off, they honored their prices for materials that they provided in January. Due to a painfully slow permit approval process in our town, they were not able to start until May. While this was annoying the team at Terrazas frequently came by to repair the tarp while we waited for the green light from the city. When work began, the team was lightning fast. The entire roof was completed in under three days of work. Moreover, the previous owner of our home had used a satellite dish, and Terrazas was kind enough to remove the old dish and cables from our roof. This company gave me a quote for roof work that would cost over 14,000 to fix a possible roof leak. I had a second company come give a quote, and the second company explained to me that I didn't have a roof leak issue, but it was actually my windows that needed resealing. I had terrazzo roofing put on a new roof 2 years ago and from start to finish they were fast, reliable, clean and professional, but what spurred me to write a review was their response when I mistakenly thought I had a leak. They were very surprised that There was a leak but were super friendly and anxious to help. Not only dd they come out to see leak within 24 hours but once it was clear it had nothing to do with the roof (a leak in wall face board) they went to the effort to try and find a handyman for me. I'm the end all handymen were busy so they came and patched the spot themselves just to help me avoid further damage.
