Afterwards, Luis promptly sent the estimate document via text message and provided samples. Once we accepted and chose our roofing material, LCG started work when they said they would. Working to their estimate, LCG removed our old roof, replaced damaged plywood, and installed new roofing and skylights. They were careful and professional throughout. In particular, their clean-up each day was exceptional: it was by far the best of the 3 different roofing jobs I've been involved with in the past few years. Inspection reports and invoices were also conveniently sent by text. Luis kept us informed throughout via text and responded quickly to queries. There were no surprises in the final bill. I can definitely recommend LCG. PS, an added bonus: Luis sent us a nice aerial photo of our new roof!

Anytime I would go outside to look around he would greet me to make sure I was always satisfied. I also need to mention Gilbert and his team that installed the gutters who were also extremely professional and made our house look even better. So much so that he told me everything he was suggesting was a "could" and not a "must." He explained that the moisture issue we're seeing on the main floor of our house is common in many of the houses in South Bay that have a similar build style (tall and skinny, flat roof); no attic space plus heat humidity overload, and the house will literally start to sweat on the inside. In our case, he said addressing indoor temperature and humidity issues with an HVAC company should take care of the problem. Any home construction/repair company that openly shares all information with a potential customer--especially when it prevents an immediate sale on the work--automatically earns my trust. The willingness to put a homeowner's best interests above their own shows that they're invested in maintaining their good reputation. Now when the time comes and I do need roofing services, GA Roofing is who I'll be calling.

I obtained three quotes, and even though this was not the lowest quote, I felt it would be the highest quality. The owner, Johnny, was always available when I called. I had numerous questions and all of my questions were answered to my satisfaction, and everything seemed very easy from the deposit to selecting a date. The workers arrived on time, and they were much quieter than I had expected. I wanted an old TV satellite removed from the side of the house, and they did not charge extra for that service. The job site was clean, the workers were friendly, and I could not have asked for more. I highly recommend this company.

I also loved hearing that this is a family business--started by his father and now run by three brothers, which really speaks to their pride and integrity in their work. It was reassuring to see the quality of their craftsmanship right in the neighborhood. Buying a home can be incredibly stressful, with so many big financial decisions to make in a short period of time. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Not only did he repair our dividing wall, but he also helped with our front door that wasn't properly installed initially and other odds and ends around our home. Our neighbor was so impressed with his work that she also hired him. And he has since done work for family members nearby. Lastly, we also had a major plumbing issue, and David was quick to refer an amazing plumbing company. We trust David completely, and I can't recommend him enough. We just completed our new roofing project and WOW, it turned out beautifully! Thank you, A-1 All American Roofing, for not only giving our home a new look, but for the smooth and pleasant experience we had from start to finish. I first contacted A-1 in May, after using them back in the early 1990's for our first roof replacement, to schedule an inspection and get an estimate for a new roof. I was immediately impressed with Darci, who was so friendly and personable on the phone. Soroush, just as friendly and personable, arrived on time, did a full roof inspection, presented pictures of what he found, and as we suspected, confirmed that it was time to change our roof. We were lucky the roof A-1 installed over 30 years ago lasted this long, but after experiencing leaks in our house during heavy rains the past three years, we could not prolong it any further. Soroush presented us with an A-1 Roofing packet, brochures of different roofing products, sample boards, and emailed us estimates for each roofing type. He even offered to order additional samples if we wanted to see more. In the following weeks, as we prepared to have our house fumigated first, it allowed time for Soroush and Darci to order some additional samples. I was delighted when Soroush brought Darci along when the samples arrived. They both shared their opinions on what they thought would go well with our driveway pavers, with Soroush highly recommending the CertainTeed Presidential TL in the Solaris Autumn Blend. However, I wasn't sure if that's what I wanted and I couldn't decide based on the sample board. I had to see it on an actual roof before committing to such a costly investment. What I loved about Soroush and Darci was their patience with me; they were both sincere, empathetic and understanding. Initially, my husband and I were going to call a couple other roofing companies to compare roofing prices, but in just the couple weeks working with Soroush and Darci, we knew we were already in good hands. As it turns out, by chance one weekend, I got to see a roof that I knew was the one I wanted for our home. It was next to a friend's house so I asked if she could ask her neighbor what kind of roof they had, hoping Soroush could get us the same. Lo and behold - it was the CertainTeed Presidential TL in the Solaris Autumn Blend that Soroush had recommended to begin with! Things got underway at that point and the week of our roof installation was set. The crew arrived exactly at 8:00 a.m. on Monday's start day, and a little earlier to beat the heat on the days that followed. Every morning, they all greeted us with a smile and a cheerful "Good Morning!" and I could tell they were dedicated and enjoyed the work they do. They neatly organized their equipment each day and protected our driveway as A-1 promised they would. They were strong and diligent, and they worked productively. They were polite, kind and cordial. Everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. I felt bad that our project happened to fall on one of the hottest weeks of the summer, but that didn't stop this crew. They endured the heat and never complained. They were joined by a few more members mid-week to ensure the project got completed by Friday, and I was impressed at how this crew all worked together, each knowing exactly what their role was and what they needed to do to get the job done. A very special shout-out to the crew - Adelso (the lead), Matteo (my translator), Juan (Tio), Gilberto (Niño), Eric, Leo, Ariel, Efren (Seven), Ose and Martin - all directed by Sigi, their superintendent. What an AWESOME and AMAZING team, so skilled, meticulous and professional! We had the privilege of meeting the "big boss" Ben Holm (Owner of A-1), George (Head of Operations), and Taylor (Darci's "partner-in-crime"), who all came out during the project, to ensure their crew's safety, and to provide them with an "appreciation lunch" for the wonderful work they were doing. We were pleased to see how well A-1 takes such good care of their people. We selected A-1 All American Roofing company for our replacement roof on our 15 -unit apartment building located in Torrance. Selecting the right roofing company can be quite daunting task given the cost and liability. First, we received high recommendations for A-1 All American Roofing from a local well-known Real Estate company and then another one from a property management company. Secondly, we did get a few other referrals and estimates from other roofing company's recommended by the Apartment Association. We vetted each company making sure they had C-39 license, bonded, workman's comp and followed up on reviews. Estimates were consistent with one recommendation when comparing look at wood replacement cost. Thirdly, what stood out of us was the in-person meetings with A-1 sales rep, Soroush Shahriari. He walked us thru their roof replacement process and the materials that would be used to satisfy Class A for our insurance company. We had many questions in which Soroush quickly responded. One thing that impressed us the most was the time they took with us. It wasn't the high pressure of signing the contract received by other companies. From beginning to end A-1 All American Roofing exceeded our expectations. Their front office staff Taylor was in constant communication with scheduling. Two days before the project started, we meet with their project manager, Sigi Rosas to do a detail inspect the project site for their crew. On the day of the project, Soroush, Sigi, and their operations manager George Grady with the crew showed up on time and got the job started. By the end of the first day with the crew being very respectful of the property and the tenants cleaned up everything spotlessly. We had a leak in our house during a recent rainstorm and knew another was on the way. With 3 days of dry weather I was able to have Soroush out to inspect and recommend a solution. Just completed my roof, looks fantastic, Rafael's crew was fast, efficient and very professional. I was sold on A1 by Johnny Hernandez, their salesman. He was here on time, prepared and answered all my questions before I could ask them. He even offered up addresses of recent similar jobs I could check out without my asking. He wrote me a quote ON THE SPOT, other companies I had bid the job took up to 10 days to get me a quote. Johnny was also very reasonable on some "add-on" items I needed. I can''t say enough how impressed I was with this company! They placed a new roof on our very old and very challenging home from the 1940's with layers upon layers of old roof and and a number of other unique challenges. They came thru! I enjoyed the process from the professionalism of their first site visit (Matt) to the owner (Ben) who was very involved and I even grew to love the workers themselves who were beyond skilled, kind and great with our neighbors! The owner attended our Board of Governors meeting(9) members. He explained two different roofing options that he presented. After explaining both, he actually told us the less expensive one was what we needed. It was almost an $100,000 savings with a 20 year warranty. Hired these roofers to re-roof my home. Johnny was the Project Manager. They did the job in two days! They were fast. They knew what they were doing and did a great job. The price was very competitive. I had three roofers bid on the job and theirs was the most thought through bid. I had called six roofers and three did not show up. All were licensed. I had a 40 year old roof with some issues and a friend recommended A-1 All American roofing. Soroush came out and inspected our roof, he gave us a competitive bid, started in a timely manner and was completed within a week doing the entire roof.
