Coffee stuff

Terrain is my new coffee shop of choice in Vancouver! I have passed by so many times and am regretting not coming in before now. The interior has a cool vintage feel, with the old safe door behind the counter. The service is great and our order was submitted fast. It was only a minute and our coffees were done. My latte was one of the best I have ever had. It was smooth and the flavor was spot on delicious!!! The coffee was so good, I swung back later in the morning to try a spiced cider... whoa! It had a nice kick to it! Perfect for the cold gloomy days in the area. Awesome service, awesome location, awesome coffee! I can't wait to get back!!!

Large Vanilla Latte.

One of my top five favorite coffee shops in Vancouver, WA. They have really good coffee and pastries with a chill atmosphere and amazing service.

New coffee shop with great tasting lattes!

Lovely apple turnover, though they didn't heat it up. Nice tasting beans and foam art to boot! I wish they had more than just one sugar free flavor (brown sugar cinnamon), but at least it's the Torani brand, not a cheap knock off. The comfortable chairs are facing the wall or the two at the coffee table ( 8 comfy chairs total). The other (26)hard chairs are armless, which helps those of us with wider hips. There is also a wooden bench at one table. Friendly service, eager to please, quite pleasant. Lots of WiFi users on a Saturday afternoon. Parking may be a bit of a problem, and you may have to circle the block to find a space. Parking Kitty app is available to pay for parking on weekdays. The restaurant is sunk below ground level, making it fun to watch the passerby on the sidewalk downtown. A ramp provides handicap access, although the placement of tables does not allow for a clear path to the register if you have a wheelchair or scooter.

Such a cute coffee cafe. It's caught my attention a few times walking by, but today I decided to stop in. The ambiance is warm and inviting. It is an older building and has a bit of a old warehouse (small) vibe. Old red brick worn walls, paired with the warmth of aged and worn hard wood floors and roll up glass garage doors that allow for beams of sun to come through. I ordered a honey latte, which came served with a heart. Perfectly blended, one of the better honey lattes I've had (which I've been ordering at a variety of coffee shops the last four years). Service is friendly and attentive. There was just one woman working but she immediately ensured she stopped a private conversation she was having when I walked in to ensure I felt important. Shortly after a small crowd came in. She welcomed everyone, acknowledged and let them know she would be right with them. She handled the pace with grace and calm. I enjoyed that! I guess my only regret is not to have stopped in sooner and try this cafe out. I will be back! Thanks for creating a calm atmosphere and a delicious coffee drink!

I was here on a Saturday afternoon about 1.5 hrs before they close. They do close earlier but the employees were very nice. There's a large bench table for bigger bigger groups and several smaller tables. Lots of outlets near the wall which is great if you're planning on getting some work done. I had their Mitzuka matcha with oatmilk which was good. It wasn't overly sweet, more on the bitter side. I didn't add anything.. so if I was feeling more sweet I may have them add some vanilla syrup. Located in downtown Vancouver, there's just street parking.

We came here thinking we would get a treat and a coffee - just normal stuff. Let me tell y'all.... This is a 10/5 stars. The staff here is really REALLY good people and the coffee was incredible. We had a pistachio latte which is probably the best thing to ever exist. While we were there, they had a few people come in off the street who didn't have any cash for their coffees. The guy working the counter treated them just as if they were any other customers and got them coffees and bagels to sit out of the rain and cold to enjoy. It was nice to see someone show that kind of compassion to another human. Good work guys!

The café offers plenty of seating and feels bright and welcoming, thanks to its corner location with large windows that let in lots of natural light. The owner is from Tanzania, and the mission of the business is to serve the local community with high-quality African coffee beans. Part of the profits go back to Africa to support coffee workers and help improve living conditions in their communities. Their signature drink is the Zanzibar spiced coffee, which I featured in my photo. It's infused with a blend of warm spices that makes it truly unique. The coffee I ordered was a lighter roast, with a pleasant hint of acidity as you sip it. They also have three different food options with African bread. The staff are incredibly friendly and happy to share the story behind the coffee shop, which makes the experience even more meaningful.

Vincent took great care of us. There were two of us and we couldn't decide between sweet or savory so we opted to share two dishes. We got the veggie hash, with chicken sausage, added, and scrambled eggs, which also came with green salad and a mini croissant. Additionally, we ordered one sourdough pancake. Everything was incredibly delicious. I loved that they offered locally made salsa/hot sauce (from Battle Ground) and had three different types. I went for the hatch chili salsa, which went magnificently on the scrambled eggs. They offered habanero and serrano varieties as well. Great coffee and delectable lattes. We did not get any sweets from the bakery side this time, but we'll have to come back another time for them. They looked glorious. Lovely, comfortable and clean.

Was greeted after I was seated but it took another 10 minutes to get my order which I had to emphasize I was ready for both food and beverage order. My Americano (pictured) came in this massive mug versus the smaller one and what used to be a sweet presentation. I ordered a basic classic breakfast. Sad that they deep-fry the potatoes even for a short amount which takes away from what could be amazing flavor of the bit of rosemary. Croissant was small and flaky not so much buttery. As a person who has traveled Europe many times just wish the cute ambiance translated to the table and service.

The shop itself is definitely on the smaller side with only a few places to sit inside, so it feels more like an in-and-out coffee stop versus somewhere you're going to spend hours working or hanging out. They do serve lunch items along with pastries and coffee, and when I walked in there were a few locals standing around watching TV which gave it a casual neighborhood vibe. I ordered a large cold brew and a pecan bar from the pastry case. The cold brew was actually really good -- strong, smooth, and definitely woke me up. The pecan bar, though, wasn't my favorite. It tasted a little aged/stale and unfortunately didn't really hit the mark for me (especially when you grow up spoiled by homemade pecan bars ). Service was okay but not particularly warm or welcoming. More of a "take your order and keep it moving" type of atmosphere. Nothing rude, just not overly friendly either. All in all, still a decent little coffee stop if you're nearby and need caffeine, but with so many coffee shops in the area, I'm excited to continue exploring and see what else Vancouver has to offer
