Yay, It's finally open!! I'd been anxiously awaiting this location opening and it was worth the wait!! Huge indoor seating area for conversation, working or just relaxing. Great music and vibe, the coffee was delicious and hubby's cheese Danish was amazing! I loved seeing how much care the employees were giving to the plants, deadheading and watering, and their selection of plants and pots was vast. Looking forward to choosing a few that I know will grow well in Arizona and bringing them back like I did last time at their other location! read more

I had a great experience at the new Terra Bella Nursery in Del Mar. The atmosphere is relaxing, the plant selection is great, and the support I received from the staff really brought it all together. I've been to a lot of nurseries around San Diego, and Terra Bella has one of the best selections of indoor houseplants that I've seen. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they even offered to pot my plant for me, which I wasn't expecting but really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience and I'll definitely be back. I finally stopped by to check out the new Terra Bella Nursery in Del Mar, and it is stunning! This is their first week beeing open (end of April).It has a similar vibe to Pigment but is easily 100 times larger. The space is massive, airy, and bright, with tons of lush greenery and healthy plants everywhere. How are they all so green and beautiful?! ​It's such a wonderful addition to the neighborhood, especially since the building sat abandoned for so long. There's even a huge coffee shop inside with plenty of seating amongst the plants. This is their third San Diego location i believe and they really nailed it. I didn't buy anything on my first visit, but I'll definitely be back very soon to shop and brows around. Its a beautiful space. Side note: they will have dj spinning tunes on certain days. New amazing addition to Del Mar nurseries! As gorgeous as the mother one close to the freeway 8. This location is better! So many plants, so fresh. Indoor plants galore as well as outdoor. As in the other Terra Bella, the murals are so wonderful, so nicely done. So inviting. Friendly workers. I will be visiting often! 1. This place is terrible. 2. Clueless people work there. 3. Sub Par Inventory- No care descriptions on plants. 4. Zero assistance in the yard. 5. Overheard Male employee tell a customer to "Steal" beach rocks from Torrey Pines State Beach instead of buying them. Terrible! 6. Employees confused/overwhelmed and could not answer proper care or handling process on deliveries. 7. Most plants are sub par ground cover and general landscaping offerings. No exotic species or mature examples also most plants dried out. So many high quality nurseries and greenhouse sellers in the area. Total waste of time. Weird atmosphere! Playing loud music, hiring clueless people and throwing up some flat screens is not going to fool any of us leaving in multi million houses in the area. Predict 6months and will be out of business. read more

When I first went to Terra Bella nursery I was stunned because it was beautiful and just a awesome vibe. From awesome music to great plants, and even a coffee shop. How cool is that! It was great that they had a DJ there since I went on a Saturday that's the day the DJ shows up. I ended up buying a couple plants and the front desk were very kind. The music is killing me! It's like they are trying to combine too many things, vibe, plants, coffee. The coffee is okay, the order ahead is nice. The DJ they have makes it feel like you're at a rave, but it's 11 am and we're trying to pick out a nice plant. You can't think with the music. Second visit in 10 days. Decent inventory of smaller plants. Interesting to visit. PLEASE fix your terminals! Both times problems ringing up my purchase. Registers are hooked to the internet via WiFi. Poor WiFi means slow processing. At least hook them up via cable. Even the cashier was complaining this morning. I spent more time waiting in line and at the counter as I did walking around. Two customers ahead of me but so fricken slow. IT, do your job as WiFi doesn't cut it. read more

First of all, loved the fact that the Morocco and Canada game was on, but was loud or overpowering the adorable bohemian atmosphere. Also, it took less than 10 minutes to get our drinks and the barista Abby made sure to get our drinks finished. Well, I've tried to shop there twice and I just can't take the loud music. Literally can hear it from the parking lot. I'm sure some people love the "vibe" but I'm there to look for plants not have an "experience". If the music was quieter and instrumental then it would be more calming but as it is, it's too distracting. I actually felt bad for the people that have to work there although they didn't seem to mind. I will say the plant quality looked very good, more indoor selections that outdoor. read more

Fun and memorable dog-friendly nursery. Their selection of houseplants is the best in the San Diego area. We have purchased multiple indoor plants over a few visits, and all are very healthy and have done well at home. There are lots of soil options in the retail area that are specifically for houseplants, and multiple organic fertilizer choices. The staff was helpful with our questions on each visit and shared their favorite products and recommendations with us. We'll be back! read more
