Such a splendid opportunity to say "we love you and we care." Sent a floral arrangement to my cousin who is going through a tough time and being so far away from her we ( my family) thought a floral arrangement might bring some joy in this dark times. She received the floral arrangement and was quite delighted and uplifted by our gesture. She was so happy with the floral arrangement. Thank you for being a means to convey our love and helping to provide some joy to her and her boys. We are truly grateful. read more

We hired Alyta, owner of Jolie Fleur, for all the funeral service flowers for our recently departed dear father. We met at her cozy and colorful floral shop in Old Del Mar. Alyta is very vibrant ( like her flowers) and attentive. She listened to our ideas and designed the flowers with such creativity and grace and beauty. They took our breath away! Her work is absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend her. read more

Sending flowers to someone when you aren't local can be tough. We have been sending flowers to my mother in law for her birthday for the last few years. We live out of state and the last few places we ordered from I was less than thrilled when she sent me a photo. Its hard to know what will arrive with photos online. I found this flower shop and their photos were more than just stock pictures which I LOVED! I decided to go with the the 'This weeks cuts' option. The photo was beautiful and I thought the fun of the surprise was great. The arrangement turned out beautiful and the flowers were so fresh. Will be using this shop for years and years to come. Thank you for helping us make her birthday special from another state read more

Fantastic! Alyta did all the floras for my August wedding. She was so knowledgeable and helpful with picking flowers. My now husband and I are a bit sensitive to fragrance, and she knew exactly what to recommend while still getting the look I wanted. At our meeting we went over a basic idea of what I liked and what I was wanted, but gave her creative license to do what she thought would look best. I was not disappointed, every bouquet, every greenery was exactly what I wanted. I kept them as long as I could after my wedding and was really sad when they started to wilt. Would not hesitate to recommend! read more

This was my first order from Jolie Fleur. It was for my wife's birthday, and I wanted it to be ultra-special ... the results did not disappoint! After browsing their website, I called the shop, and luckily for me Alyta (the owner) answered. She showed a sincere level of interest in finding out the details: what the occasion was, what kinds of flowers my wife liked, what I thought would be good choices -- and only then did she point to some selections for me to consider. I settled on "Raspberry Punch", which looked amazing on the website. When the delivery arrived at our door (exactly as promised, by the way), my wife was totally floored. She said "this is the most beautiful flower arrangement I've ever seen in my entire life!". BTW: I was floored, too. The arrangement looked even more incredible in person than it did on the website ... and that's amazing. Raspberry Punch was totally gorgeous, I couldn't have asked for more. But for me an equally important part of the experience was how Alyta focused in on getting a feel for the situation -- and this allowed her to create something that transcended a flower arrangement. Raspberry Punch became the full expression of my love and care. If I could give a higher rating, I would. read more

BEST Florist in Southern California, possibly the world. Alyta made ALL of the flower arrangements for my wedding on August 30th, 2014 and we were working with each other for almost 2 years. She instantly knew my vision before I could even explain it, which is AMAZING. Working with Alyta made everything so easy. She is so detail oriented and definitely knows what she is talking about. She made the vision for my wedding day even better than I I expected. Not to forget, she is incredibly patient and understanding. My first wedding date was canceled due to my husbands unexpected training trip in the military. We had every detail and flower arrangement done and ready for the day. It wasn't until a year later that we started all over again from scratch with a new venue and details. Alyta was so energetic and excited that it made all of my nerves for the wedding go away. I highly HIGHLY recommend her, she is the best! Seriously. All of my guests were posting pictures of the flower arrangements and flowers details more than anything else, including me and my new husband (which has now become a running joke). Thank you Alyta!! My wedding would not have been half as beautiful as it was if it weren't for you and your team! Kelsey Maida read more

I am the maid of honor in my best friend's wedding and was out of the country when she went to have her dress fittings. Her first appointment of the day was at The Bustle and wanting to surprise her, I asked for a referral for a nearby florist which is how I discovered Jolie Fleur. Alyta was so sweet and helpful in putting together the perfect arrangement via email. She had it delivered to The Bustle in time for the bride's arrival. The arrangement was absolutely gorgeous and her handwritten note made the surprise even more special. Thanks Alyta! read more

So Miles, id like to first congratulate you for being completely out of line by leaving a review for a business that has nothing to do with their business! Because you had an issue with a random person and feel sensitive that your truck wasn't fancy enough and that now Jolie Fleur has to be responsible for your crappy day. Get over it! Maybe someone should blame you for a random thing that you had no control over and ruin your reputation and income potential! Jolie Fleur is great everyone, dont listen to Miles! read more

Dear Alyta, Twice now you've delivered the most wonderful arrangements to my daughter - a young woman who is also a professional arranger - and both times she and I have been absolutely delighted and enchanted by your skill and warmth! As others have noted, to speak with you is to feel an instant friendship. But I've just received my daughter's pictures of her most recent bouquet and I wanted to thank you deeply for taking my vague suggestions and building an arrangement that so marvelously expressed the beauty, creativity, intimacy and aroma that can make flowers such an artful gift. You are an artist! read more

Gorgeous flowers! Beautiful experience! Thank you! Susan C. Del Mar

Alyta at Jolie Fleur did the flowers for my beach ceremony (Seagrove, on the bluff) and reception in Del Mar last year (across the street at Pacifica Del Mar, on the patio). She is a true artist and the flowers came out beautifully. My bouquet was round and full, wrapped with white silk ribbon. The centerpieces were set in small silver etched mint julep cups and were stunning. My hair flowers were handmade- stephanotis with pearls in the center. Flowers were a mix of vibrant blue hydrangeas, stock, stephanotis, delphinium, and a couple others. We also had long stemmed white roses for all the women at the ceremony, all of which she hand delivered to my hotel (L'Auberge) in a basket. I cannot recommend this place enough. Prices are fair (especially given the area) and the flowers are fresh as can be- and they were fabulous in helping with my selections and using some creativity! read more

You will not be disappointed! Alyta was so helpful in providing the perfect flowers for a 90th birthday party. I have lived outside of San Diego for over 15 years so I was hesitant to take the restaurant's florist referral. Best decision I made! The arrangements were unique and stunning. The arrangements had to be touched to know if they were even real. That is impressive given the heat of the day!!! My only regret is not meeting Alyta in person. I can't wait to order an arrangement for family and friends who live in the area! read more

Wow! Oh Wow! I can't begin to say enough good things about Alyta. I hired her to provide floral arrangements for our elegant evening wedding that we had in our backyard. This woman is simply amazing. I showed her a picture of my dress and from there she came up with a theme for the wedding. I gave her creative license and told her to do whatever she felt made the most sense. My only criteria was for all white flowers. I am very glad I let Alyta be the artist she is....her arrangements were gorgeous. I had tears in my eyes when she delivered the flowers to our home the day of the wedding. They were breathtakingly beautiful. Her flowers were the finishing piece, the "icing on the cake" that turned our backyard into the elegant setting I had envisioned all along. Thanks, Alyta. read more
