We have used Terminix ever since moving to Tucson in 2004, and we currently have outside monthly pest spray as well as their termite protection program. We used to highly recommend Terminix, but we can no longer do that. Over the years, we have seen their customer service/administration gradually deteriorate to the point where we have decided it's time to take our business elsewhere. The tecnicians that we have dealt with are all great, and they do their best to please; however, as Terminix has grown over the years and been acquired by a foreign company, their customer service administration has deteriorated to the point when you can never tell when the next service will be unless you go on their website and look it up (we used to get reliable regular service on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, between 8 and 10 am as we requested). Now, when you call customer service, after waiting on hold, you have to answer a bunch of questions, only to be told that they have to transfer you to a "local" person who asks all of the same questions. When I have asked to speak with a manager, I am told that a manager will call me, but it has never happened. The bottom line is... Terminix has gradually transformed from a company who tried to do what their customers wanted... to a bureaucratic company that does only what it wants, and apparently doesn't care anymore what the customer wants. They have taken away local management and technician discretion... they will not even let you talk to a local manager anynore. It's time to go!!!!! read more

Call these guys about pack rats, ants & crickets. 1 week after there out. I still have a pack rat problem, 4 more ant hills! Oh because the guy only had 1 Rat trap! To cancel my business with them , I had to drive to the main office just to find 2 fat guys sitting behind heir desks & a fleet off trucks outside. I paid $800 for a rodent exclusion package that came with a 1 year warranty. I was promised that the guy would look under my house and check everywhere for any points of entry. He stayed for 30 min, did work inside, and then left without making a follow up appointment. Just look at the job he did! Pushed some wire haphazardly into a hole and RUINED my kitchen cabinets by getting the black filler all over it. Horrible! After months of waiting, I contacted him. Then I waited a couple weeks for him to arrange a time. When he finally did come over, he stayed for about 30 min. This time he opened up a side panel under my house and shined a flashlight around and said "Looks all good." Wow so professional! During his initial visit I told him of a hole under my guest bathroom sink. He said there wasn't any sign of rodent activity so he wouldn't do anything about it. Lo and behold months later I find a dead mouse in a trap by that very same hole. So I contacted him to come back (since I'm still covered with my warranty). I have been waiting over a month for this guy to even schedule an appointment with me. Communication with Terminix is absolutely dreadful. I would never recommend going with them for rodent exclusion services. Apparently they only have one guy who does this work in ALL of Tucson. And worst still, he's terrible at it!! read more

Absolutely unethical and some of the worst customer service imaginable. Avoid this company like the plague! Received a call early last week asking if I wanted to pay $300 for my annual renewal (presumably refilling the bait traps they installed last year for about $1300). I told the lady no. She asked if I was sure. I replied yes. End of call. Forward about four days, and a charge of $300 shows up on my debit card. WTF? Who gave them permission to store and use my card without my permission? Call the national number last Friday. They agree that shouldn't have happened and that they will have the branch manager and area manager call me and they will get a refund processed. It's now Tuesday, and ...crickets. I understand mistakes. Initial charge may have been a mistake. We're past mistakes now, and the next step will be to contact my bank's fraud department and potentially the Attorney General's office. Tucson Terminix sales convinced my 86 year old mother that she needed a subterranean termite baiting system for a BRICK house with CONCRETE slab on grade construction. They charged her $109 per month for a system they only inspect once a year. Total loss was $1,335 for thin air, a complete sham and unscrupulous sales tactics! These people should be ashamed of themselves taking advantage of elderly residents in Tucson. I hope someone scams their parents one day so they know how it feels. Awful customer service!  We've been Terminix customers for years - ever since our house was built - and have had annual termite inspections and treatments. We recently spotted evidence of termite activity so we called their 1-800 number to get it treated.  Over the span of about 10 days, we've had five appointments - and ALL FIVE were no shows.  We called the 1-800 number back each time (they don't provide a local number), spoke to a few different nice people and received a variety of excuses (there was a problem with the scheduling, the scheduled technician was in training, we can't get a hold of the technician, etc.) I'm not sure if the problem was with the 1-800 operators or the local office, but it was clear we were not going to get any service from Terminix. We finally gave up and contacted another company (recommended by neighbors) to treat our current issue and we'll continue with them for annual maintenance. If you're in need of pest control and expect a company to actually deliver on what was promised, do yourself a favor and look somewhere other than Terminix. read more

Absolutely the worst. I just dropped them - they scheduled a termite check-up, and I waited all afternoon for the guy to arrive, and nothing. Tried to call them - NO local number. Called the main office, got put on hold for 20 minutes, then got some empty-headed woman in the Philippines on a terrible connection with a long delay. I could barely understand her. She Told me my appointment was changed to three days in the future on a SUNDAY. I was never informed of this. I emailed Terminix at least four times telling them to cancel my account. No response. Their service is crap. Pay online, and you get no response, acknowledgement of the payment, or receipt. It is virtually impossible to talk to someone at the US company, or the local reps (who are even worse - read the other reviews) the local numbers forward to the main No. which goes to the Philippines. THAT is the sign of a sleazy, dishonest operation. This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with (never had comcast). It will be interesting to see how they try to screw me out of a refund. This is a shady company, and I think their local agent is even worse. I don't think honest pest control companies exist - they all seem kind of slimy in one way or another. read more

I have been a customer of Terminix since 1996 both as a homeowner and a real estate agent. Their representatives are always courteous, efficient and honest. There has never been a concern about what they tell me upon inspection. I highly recommend Terminix and will continue to do so. read more

We have been with this company over 20 years! I just found serious termite damage in a window frame. Called them on Saturday and after a 10 minute wait talked to a person who could not find my account. After 30 minutes that was solved and I was told someone would contact me Monday to set an appt. No call. On Tuesday I called three times on a cell phone and waited over 10 min. each time and soon as someone came on the call dropped. Called back on a land line, waited, and again the call dropped when someone answered. This company has gone down the tubes and are having trouble, big time! read more

Do not and I strongly recommend that you do not deal with this company. I bought my house May of 2019 with a warranty for a year, I have called more than 3 times with the calls lasting over 1 hour each and no resolution. I was calling because Terminix reached out to me to renew. They sent an Inspector, Emily M. who was very nice, she stated the call center staff was very inept and often confused. They were suppose to send a technician. I was just looking to renew my policy per the call I received in March 2020. Decided to reach out to Emily and she connected me with Lenny who stated my warranty was expired as of November of 2019 and he could not explain why I would be receiving a call to renew in March 2020. Basically if there is termite activity I am not covered according to Lenny. This company doesnot have it together. I will have to back track and try to find out who called me and the previous owner to renew. At this point I would recommend that everyone stay clear of this pest control provider! I have it 1 star because it would not let me post it lower. Update I finally found the number of Steve that called me to renew my policy in March of 2020 because at that time he stated my policy would be expiring in May. Well he referred me back to Lenny and called back to state what Lenny already told me that it was an error policy had expired in November of 2019 which I never got notified. Same day I received an email from Social support asking again for my information so they can assist and here is the response..... We have had Terminix for many years, both in Arizona and when we lived in Oregon. We knew we were paying more for the brand name, but service was always excellent so we didn't do any research into other companies. Recently our local Terminix has changed technicians and the consistency of good service has gone down the tubes. Our prior technician always called a few days in advance and then again on the day of service to let us know when he was coming. He always arrived within the two-hour window as scheduled. Then they changed technicians and the new guy consistently did not call, did not arrive during the two-hour window, and the last time when he came late he did not respond to the text I sent him. He knows our back gate is kept locked because of our dog, so he did the front but not the back since we had to leave before he arrived. We called him to reschedule the back yard, and he didn't show up at all that day. When I called him he said he "forgot" and was too busy to come that day. I asked when he could reschedule and he said he didn't know because he didn't have his schedule available but would call us. That never happened. I messaged Terminix and never got a response from them, either. So we cancelled our Terminix service and contacted a local service recommended by several neighbors that charges 1/3 the amount of Terminix and assured us they will provide good service. Sometimes you just have to do your talking by walking. read more

Yikes! We have a termite infestation in our house! Those nasty little subterranean termites have decided to spend a little time chewing on the trusses of our house! We called Terminix and they responded quickly! We installed the Sentricon Bait Stations and we hope our termite problem will be short-lived! My technician Martin Martinez was incredibly professional and competent. He did a perfect job ridding my home of unwanted critters. He was extremely thorough. Due to this, his results were outstanding. I had used a local exterminating company here in the Sahuarita/Green Valley area for the past 6 months and I had issues with pests on a daily basis. I grew frustrated with that company and then decided to call Terminix. Within one visit I had instant results. I have not seen one spider, ant, or roach! I am very pleased. My elderly mother has used Terminix for many years. The person who did her house treatment for bugs each month is Matilda. Matilda was more like a trusted friend than a service tech. She was very patient and kind with my mother and went out of her way to come at a convenient time. Since my mother passed away I met with Frank Neal who did the annual termite inspection. He arrived right on time and was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend both of them and Terminix! read more

Terminix has been providing great pest control service to our house for the last year. We us the Residential Exterior General Pest Control and have not encountered any pests to include scorpions since Terminix began service to our house. Our Terminix service technician, Victor Lopez always does a great job spraying in and around our house for pests in a quick and efficient manner. He always asks if we want the inside of our house sprayed during each service which is a nice touch. I would recommend Terminix to any of my friends, family and coworkers. read more

I was charged 1444 but the sales receipt said 800 I was placed on Auto renewal which was never explained. The customer service rep was not helpful and basically said I had to speak to sales person which has not returned my calls. I am giving them one star for the technician who came out. I went and reviewed Terminix at the Better Business site and they have over 600 complains Yikes I know I should have started there lesson learned buyer beware! read more

AWFUL! Terminix has been a consistent customer svc nightmare. We are not new "walk in" customers; we have a contract with Terminix and have received the absolute worst service. I have been caught in a never ending loop of held calls that lasted from 7 -13 minutes. Never have been able to reach anyone at the Forbes location in Tucson. Although everyone I spoke with in Customer Svc has been friendly and polite, they have all in some way been totally ineffective in delivering a solution. All we needed was a timely appt to follow up on a failed termite treatment and a new area of infestation that requires treatment. After the latest attempt to reach someone and holding for 13 minutes I am waiting, yet again, for a call with an appt in the very near future. Would never recommend Terminix to friends or neighbors.
