Until recently, we were very satisfied customers. We have been paying customers for 7 years. Their billing recently changed and we began being repeatedly threatened to be turned over to collections for not paying a bill we didn't receive. They were not billing for the every other month spraying & promptly threatened collections. Each time, we contacted them immediately with payment and asked that they correct the issue. We were assured that it would be fixed only to receive the same threat the following billing cycle. AZ Pest Control service my property today. Even before the technical started, the main office was calling requesting payment.. I waited until the technician finished his work before remitting payment. I was informed that the technician wasn't supposed to leave until payment was remitted.. I called the office and paid the invoice. I also informed the technician as well when he was done working. After the invoice was paid, I received a receipt and responded via email. I responded back a negative response after basically being held hostage. The technician then proceeded to inform me that they'd refund my money and removed all the sentricons. So instead of agreeing to a 30 day extension or offering another short term treatment method, they walked away with their sentricons. In the end all AZ Pest Control wanted was their fucking money! Arizona Pest Control is far from the best as touted by Yelp!! I would think twice about using them!! and actually would give them no stars but had to indicate at least one. In fact I think they are the worst. We contacted Arizona Pest control on October 2, 2024 when we discovered a large pack rat nest. They had been servicing us on a monthly basis for the past 4.5+ years checking for and treating pack rat activity on a regular basis. When we confronted them, our technician acknowledged he had missed this nest and apologized. We actually paid them $1368 a year for this service. I then phoned their office to call this to their attention and they first wanted to charge me at least $250.00 to remove the nest. I pointed out to them that they had been servicing us on a monthly basis for at least 4.5 + years at this current location in Sahuarita and I refused to pay any additional cost to have it removed. My complaint was forwarded to Isah, their manager, who indicated that he would send his technician to remove the nest and would not charge me if it didn't exceed an hour and that if it took longer he would re-access the cost. Their technician serviced us on October 3, 2024 for the nest removal with me spending my time and energy helping him. I cut the Agave leaves with a chain saw and raked the remains into a shovel for him to dump. After 1/2 hour he said he was rushed and needed to come back the following week to finish the job. That week-end I cut the rest of the Agave leaves to make it easier and less time consuming for him to finish the clean up. After the cleanup I was shocked to discover Arizona Pest Control charged me $114.00 for the clean up. Phoning Isah again I had a dispute with him as to how much time his technician actually spent. I was then told the $114.00, (our normal monthly service charge), was for additional servicing after the nest cleanup. I indicated there was no further servicing after the nest cleanup because the technician had to rush off to another job. I was then told video footage would be reviewed to prove the servicing was done beyond the cleanup and they would get back to me. I never heard from them with the video footage proof. After a big fight with Isah, he agree to refund us the $114.00 that was charged to our credit card but indicated he would no longer service us, dropping us as customer. I waited a week to see if the credit was returned and then phoned them on November 11, 2024 . I spoke to Gina to indicate the credit of $114.00 hadn't been returned to my credit card. She indicated to wait another 7-10 days. I waited another week, there still was no credit applied to my account. I phoned them ta second time today, November 18, 2024 and spoke to Stephanie who said I would receive a check for $114.00 credit. I finally received the $114.00 credit on November 23, but had to call at least two times in order to have received it. I was never suppose to have been charged for this in the first place. Isah lied to me twice misrepresenting the situation and furthermore dropped us as a customer who had been loyal for 4.5+ years at this residential property and several more years at our previous property. Isah actually did us a favor because we have now gone with their competitor, Bill's Home Service, for less than half of what Arizona Pest was charging us. Bill's also includes Bee and Wasp protection that we ended up paying extra for when we had Arizona Pest. Furthermore I think Arizona Pest Control are overpriced for what they offer and found the quality of their service to have deteriorated over the several years time that we used them. Additionally, I think they are an atrocious company who misrepresents and/or manipulates the truth and therefore would would highly recommend going with their competition instead. I hope this helps others who are thinking of going with Arizona Pest Control. read more

Call APC due to a large infestation of bees near our patio. They arrived the same day within hours of my call. The bees could not be found were I had observed them. The two men then said they would check the rest of my property and found a large hive near the patio. The bees are gone and the charge was far less than I had guessed. He was diligent and thorough, going through every corner of the entire house, interior and exterior. Knowledgeable and willing to talk us through the entire process. Caleb Tennenbaum will go after you online and also on your business pages. I did not have a pleasant experience with this company as I had mentioned on another platform then to have Caleb try and personally go to my business page and write a review which my team and I have never worked with him in any way. I don't think this is a bad company there are very large issues with office staff and communication which clearly reflects the customer service. I've read these guys reports and that wasnt easy to do. It's very hard to read the writing. There were no photographs or detailed documentation of what they've done or where they've done it. They did make a couple dots on a piece of graph paper. Comparing this to other service companies in this field, I have little confidence in these guys. They sent David over who was so nice and friendly! He quickly and efficiently did the outside and inside for our initial service ($150). He wore a mask and bootie covers when he came in as well which was very nice. Overall they were very communicative and clear about the services and made sure we had no questions that went unanswered. My home had a persisting Bee issue for a few months, until yesterday! We had work going on in our backyard which caused a huge swarm to set up shop in our backyard. We call Arizona Pest control around 11am and immediately got a response with a time frame a tech will come out Around 4pm Alex M came to our home, assessed the bee situation, and immediately began treatment. Alex was very transparent, informative, and most importantly, THOROUGH. He made sure our bee issue was no more, and that our pets, workers and neighbors were safe. Not a terrible experience because it was resolved quickly buuuut be careful about what you sign with this company. They quoted for a termite job and they did it. I was offered the warranty at that time and expressed I didn't want it because termite activity is largely hidden and they only treat what what they see so you're paying for nothing. I would rather just get a termite treatment every 7 years or so. Chris assured me I would not be charged for this warrenty and I didn't agree to the warranty on paper. So when they called back in a year, I ignored it because I don't need services. So what happens? They charge me $195 for this "annual warranty" on the card they had on file! No services rendered, no scheduled maintenance. They would have kept my money and done nothing if I hadent checked the card balance. Really poor practice. read more

TL;DR: They are A-OK. They do their jobs very well, they know their stuff, and they respect your time, but they are pricey. We started using them 6 years ago after purchasing our home. We had the house tented for termites after the inspection and prior to purchase and thought that was "it." HA. We did not understand termites or Arizona. In comes AZ Pest Control we called them when we started seeing tunnels in the garage. They confirmed that the termites were back and we paid $600 to treat them, which...OUCH, but it had to be done. Then they offered a 10 year "warranty program." It turns out it's more of a protection racket, but a necessary one. We were told we had to pay them them $175/year for re-inspection and they will treat where necessary. But, what we learned is that it's a price they can raise at any time (and have recently raised to $195). That said, the employees are professional, come when they say they will, and do their jobs well. We had our annual inspection on Monday and thank God the termites are NOT back. My husband mentioned the influx of pests due to the monsoons and asked the tech for recommendations for home pest control (he was VERY clear that we are NOT paying for monthly treatment too lol) and the guy nicely recommended Ortho to mix with the boric acid that we use so it would stick around. My husband was impressed with his knowledge of the habits and bites of the usual pests --I was recently bitten and just hearing my symptoms, the guy id'd it as a baby termite--we had found one in the bathroom, but I had been bitten in bed so who knows how that happened. Overall, you get what you pay for. If you can afford it, they're good for peace of mind. I don't worry that one day the rafters in the roof will fall out or the deck will fall into the yard from termite activity. Dramatic, probably, but stranger things have happened. There may be other companies that can provide the same service, but we've never had a bad experience so I give them a solid 3. I pay for it so I don't have to think about it (but it would be nice to pay a leeetle less!). read more

I recently used Arizona Pest Control to sanitize my office (they started this COVID spray service that made it so I can actually open my office safely) and had them spray my house and office for bugs...been seeing waaay too many scorpions lately! Long story short, they did an amazing job! They scheduled promptly, arrived on time, did a fantastic job for each service, and invoiced in a timely manner. As a business owner, I value my time, so I need it done the first time punctually. They did it all perfectly! I can't fathom any reason why others have had issues. Maybe they don't mark their calendars? Maybe they're just cat ladies? I find that cat ladies are kind of a mess. My business has a no cat-lady policy. It's served us well. Anyway, these guys rock! I've had an account with Arizona Pest for 20 years. I've given them 5 star reviews in the past. But we sold our home and our rental property a few months ago. I called and told them to cancel the account. One of their inspectors emailed later to set up appointment; I responded via email that we no longer owned the property and to cancel our accounts. Someone else called to set up appointment and I again told them we had cancelled account. Yet my credit card was billed. When I called, they explained that communicating with an inspector wasn't sufficient and that they had no record of the various phone calls. An "an exception" they agreed to refund my $91. But really--responding to an email from jedwards@azpest.com wasn't sufficient?? Calling them wasn't sufficient?? No way to run a business. read more
