I would like to address the unprofessional service provided by Terminix Corporate/Main Office. I called them last Thursday for a first time service that was scheduled on Saturday between 10 am and noon. I also gave them my credit card info. However, NO one showed up on Saturday nor did they call. I called them today morning (Monday) to re-schedule. Here's comes the frustrating part.......my call was "transferred 4 times" just to re-schedule. I spoke to an operator who transferred me to sales, who then transferred me to customer service who then transferred me to another person who was supposed to re-schedule. I was on the call for maybe 30 mins listening to a variety of music waiting between call transfers. By the time I spoke to the 4th person, I was frustrated and exhausted. When I told the 4th person that I am frustrated and would like to cancel, I got a reply "that's upto you" will no apology. She said (the 4th person) she's not responsible for why I was transferred and not her problem. WOW..... It's like they don't care about you. Plus they have my credit card on file and personal info. on file that I will have to constantly monitor it as I do NOT trust them. I added this comment on their facebook page and it was 'deleted' immediately. Just SHOCKING for a large company like Terminix to have that attitude and unprofessionalism. read more

Terminix sent out a man that was training another man for rat control. All he did was stick his head at the crawl space hole and said yes, I see a whole in the air ducts. He did not go under to make sure anything else was going on. I showed him where they were probably getting in. Then looked around the property and found two other spots that had wholes. Then he went around the rest of the outside of the house and then said that I had potentially ten places that they could get in my home. He then quoted me a price off the top of his head and started to quote me financing and monthly programs and did not mention clean up or the disinfectant so other rats want to join the group. He did not mention setting traps. I called the next day and I said that I wanted someone else to come out that I was not happy with this inspection. They said they would have someone call me the next day. They did not. Not a good company. read more

Scheduled an appointment between 1 and 3pm (I have the confirmation). I called at 12:30 just to confirm, was told my appointment was not on the books. They kindly rescheduled for same day between 3 and 5. 5pm - no show, no call. After calling 4 times I finally talked to a very nice lady who informed me the person was overbooked and needs to reschedule. Was someone going to call me? I took the day off work for nothing. This is a yelp review of Terminex. I should say in advance that the 3 women I spoke to on the phone we're very nice and we're taking the blunt of the incompetency of Terminex . I do not recommend Terminex to anyone because of the following reasons. I started calling two weeks ago trying to get an appointment for an inspection for termites which I know my house has. my first endeavor was with a woman who spoke extremely slow and took 15 minutes to take my name and my information . I told her that I had termites and I needed an inspection soon . she said the first available would be September 11 and I told her I was not available on that day could she do it September 10 she said yes . so it was confirmed for September 10 between 3-5 and that a technician would call to confirm in the morning hours.I stayed home all day long the appointment was supposed to be from 3 to 5 and they would call me in the morning . when they did not call me in the morning I had to call them !!! I got the runaround and they said somebody would be there they never showed up . then I called made another appointment. Meanwhile On September 11 I got a voicemail from Larry a technician at area code 925 404-9518 and he called me saying he was a 30 minutes out and he would be at my house within 30 minutes GREAT RIGHT?? NO I called him back saying that I was here that it was originally scheduled for the 10th but please come on the 11th just so I could get someone out there for an inspection .I left him a voicemail and I also texted him to the above cited number that was reflected in my phone. he never called back and he never text me and he never showed up !!!!then I called that day September 11 at 2:55 PM and talked to Chelsey .I told her the history of the malfeasance on Terminex part she's apologized was very nice and scheduled for September 16 between three and five Thursday and it was confirmed and for sure !!!!!and she apologize for all the inconvenience but it was confirmed for September 16 Thursday between three and five !!! my adult son took off work to be home between three and five on September 16 and no one,I repeat no one called text or showed up .I called on September 17 and talk to a person who represented that her name was Mary she tried getting a hold of a technician -no one was around , she tried to get hold of a supervisor -no one was around she tried to get hold of the supervisor -no one is around and then she tried to get hold of the branch manager -no one was around and then she tried the branch manager supervisor -no one is around .she finally had to come back on the phone and said that she could have somebody email me .I said fine but would they also call me because I would like to expedite this process .I also told her that I was going to go to yelp Terminex and give a review if no one called me back today.I was going to give the woman who I spoke to on the phone a good review this is my review I recommend people not use terminex for the above inconvenience and run around and unprofessional business practices read more

I've had all kinds of Pest Specialists come to our home for over 20+ years. Terminix has been the best. One of the biggest reasons is the personalized care we get from our specialist Daniel Morris. He "always" lets me know if my dogs need to come in, lets me know what hes done, and he does not hurry, he takes Pide in his jobe, this is something you don't find often enough. I am self employed and know the value of such an employee. I hope Terminix knows they've got a great employee in Daniel. read more

Marichal is the man! I was hesitant to call Terminix, based on the low scores I saw here on Yelp. However, I used Terminix in my previous house for years and figured I'd give them a shot. My experience was very good. My tech was a little late, but the office called me to let me know he's running late. When Marichal arrived, I gave him a quick overview of the pest issues. Marichal was very knowledgeable of the various pest and had some great suggestions on how to mitigate any future pests. Just as I had expected from Terminix, Marichal did a meticulous perimeter inspection. Then, he sprayed the perimeter and completed his inspection of the inside. I was very happy with the service, plan to renew quarterly and request Marichal each time. read more

We had a rat intrusion in our 14 year old home. Given we had a Terminix pest control contract, we called them to see if they offered a rodent abatement service. They mentioned they had such a service and they would set up a free inspection. Two inspectors came by and "performed an inspection" without even using a ladder. The inspection noted several possible areas that rats could be coming into. To make a long story short, they quote us more than $3,200 to perform a complete "inside-outside" abatement repair program. "Top to bottom" for the entire 4,500 sf home with 3 years of warranty. Unfortunately, we signed up because the rats (turns out to be two) were doing considerable damage to our home and contents. Terminix showed up a few days later and performed the "rat-proofing" service which took two hours and involved sealing up two holes under roof returns, some of which had no correlation to the inspection. I asked them about other areas they didn't address and they said the roof pitch was too steep and access was limited. What happened to the "top to bottom" repairs? The service techs told me that there was no need to do anything around the lower part of the house because we were on a slab??? I called to complain and reduce the contract amount to something that was reasonable. They steadfastly refused! These people are bandits and con-artists!! We are cancelling three existing contracts we have with them because of their unethical business practices and boldface lying. Avoid them at all costs!!! read more

I have been with Terminix for 2 years. If it wasn't for Dan Morris, I would have canceled my service. I have Dan Morris account only. The office or call center keeps trying to send someone else. Dan is always on time and does a full job and stays till I am happy with the job. He never leaves before he talks to me and tell me what he has done. Thank you Dan Morris for always doing a great job. The call center had Otis on the schedule to do my home. I was home ALL day the day he was scheduled, I didn't know he was on the schedule. I never got a reminder that he was coming. The next thing I knew I got an email saying that Otis had serviced my home, which he never did because I was home and never saw him, or talked to him. Updated: as described in the previous review - I have canceled Terminix. The poor customer service on the management end continued and I had to pursue / call to get the correct reduction in the plan. After finally getting the reduction for the initial visit I decided this was a headache I no longer wanted to be in. The staff and personnel who come to the home are simply amazing, it is the management and coordinators of the work who need to be replaced. Thank you to the in-field staff and hope you get promoted to replace the management. You are the reason why I increased it from 1 star to 2. read more

This rating is for technician Daniel Morris (FR 46196), I can't speak to anything else other than Daniel. He is the sole reason we have remained with terminix. We were with Alterra before Terminix purchased Alterra and when they switched over we had a few terrible technicians who weren't doing a good job. One tech even lied about having done the service when in fact we saw him on our camera monitors and he had not done it. Daniel saved the day! Daniel came along and has been a godsend for us. Our pest situation has been much better since Daniel began our services. He is so professional, friendly and most important thorough. In the Livermore area there is a pest control technician named Eddie green. He is very very poor in the services that he wants to provide. There was a technician Dan Morris he was excellent but Eddie Green is so bad the first time he came out and told me what he wanted to do I told him to leave and then discontinued my services with Terminix. read more

We had Dan Morris show up at our spider and ant infested house in Sunol this past weekend. The man is a miracle worker and best part was that he was great with our dogs including our doofus of a Great Dane who wanted to follow him around and sit in his lap. Great service, super personable and he spent nearly three hours at the property spraying and removing cobwebs and all sorts of creepy things. Great price so I signed up for the quarterly program. What I liked is he called me before the visit, answered questions and gave me a very precise time window of when he'd arrive. And he was great with the pets who carefully monitored his every move from the kitchen! read more

I'd think twice before using Terminex pest control service. I was a long time customer of Terminex but became highly disappointed and dissatisfied with their level of "no service". I was a patient customer putting up with 3 no shows and they finally show up the day before I had a chance to cancel/terminate service. I called customer no service escalated the call to a "resolutions specialist". I offered to pay for the 1 visit but not the full quarterly fee. "ELLOS NO TIENEN VALOR"....THEY HAVE NO HONOR Their level of service isn't what it once was....now only out for the almighty dollar Resolution specialist Brianna informed me that since there was no record of a complaint in the system, "she couldn't help me at this time". Wow have a nice day and don't let the door hit you on the way out. I'll call Michael Finney and a couple other consumer reporters for further action/advice read more

Very unhappy with services. We have had Terminix pest control for years and the service up to about 6 months ago has been good. For the last 4 services we've only been given notification that a technician is on the way the morning of the services. This is unacceptable as we are not available several days per week to unlock our back gate to allow the tech access to our back yard. Unfortunately our back yard hasn't been serviced for the last 4 services. We have repeatedly requested at least one week's prior notification before a service but this has not happened. Our requests have gone unnoticed and apparently we are not appreciated as a customer. We have cancelled our service and do not recommend Terminix as a pest control service. read more

Please take my advice, do not use this company! I scheduled an appointment for 06/23 between 3-5, took time off from work to meet with a technician, NEVER SHOWED! I called Terminix, I was told a technician came out earlier than scheduled because he was in the area, no call to me alerting he was at my residence, so I asked even if he came out why am I not having someone now to come out since I was still on the schedule for 06/23, plus then I was told he cancelled my scheduled 06/23 appointment. I asked the phone operator how is this quality customer service that I took time off work lost pay,waited ,and there was no communication from this company back to me of changes in my appointment. I was upset but wanted to have an inspection the phone operator said that he could have a technician come out 06/26 between 8-10, GUESS WHAT NO ONE CAME, I called the company and was told OH, we had to change to a later time. With both of my calls to Terminix I asked to speak with the district manager or the direct owner of this local business, was never called THEY DO NOT CARE! There are many companies to choose from that have ethical higher customer service standards. Please go to another company than Terminix! read more
