This place is a little bit in a rough neighborhood, but don't let the exterior for you. The food was excellent. $11 for this plate. Stopped in after I had a hankering for teriyaki. I walked in and the place looked clean enough. They had some booths. The service was friendly. The menu is poorly written. I ordered a chicken and vegetables bowl and I expected rice, chicken and veggie. Got home, no rice. The chicken was tasty. The veggies were bland and undercooked. They randomly gave ranch. It's pricey for what it is. Bottom line: I may return since the chicken was tasty and if I'm really wanting teriyaki. read more

Just discovered this place, Teriyaki on Fire, and man, it's legit! I absolutely love their teriyaki chicken cheese fries. The sauce is delicious, and they definitely don't hold back on the chili paste. The food is packed with flavor and seriously fire! I'd definitely recommend everyone try this place at least once. It's kind of a hidden gem you'd never expect such delicious food to be coming out of this little spot. It's clean, has a nice casual atmosphere, and the customer service is friendly. Ordered via Foodja delivery for my office. We ordered the bento box, bowls and short rib plate. Foodja delivered the food on time which tells me the restaurant did an excellent job of making sure our order was ready when the driver came to pick up the order. Since this was a delivery order I don't know what the restaurant looks like. The bento box is generous and perfect for hungry eater. The beef and chicken are charbroiled which is how we prefer our teriyaki beef/chicken to taste. The veggies are boiled but perfect to dip into the teriyaki sauce. The teriyaki sauce is thick, dark and not overly sweet. The bowls are big too and everything is filling, nothing is skimped! Only suggestion I have maybe have a vinaigrette or a miso dressing for people who do not care for ranch or 1000 island dressing. Can't wait to try this place in person! read more

Food was amazing! I recently tried this new spot in the area. I ordered food for me and my coworker. I got the charbroiled hamburger and it was really good- juicy, flavorful and cooked just right. My coworker went with the chicken teriyaki salad with added avocado, and it looked just as good as it tasted. The chicken was moist, tender and perfectly cooked. She loved the teriyaki sauce! This place just recently opened as I notice balloons outside of their business. Went ahead and got myself the chicken teriyaki fries during my lunch time and it was amazing. Great portions and the chicken was moist and not dry or difficult to chew. Thank goodness as it is walking distance from my job. This new restaurant "teriyaki on fire" is the best! We love the Smoky char-grill flavor of the teriyaki chicken and the tasty burgers also perfectly charbroiled with backyard flavor! There was so much flavor in the bowl, and everything just went really well together. Sometimes teriyaki bowls can be pretty basic, but this one definitely wasn't. I'd absolutely order it again. If the kiosk orders aren't being monitored, that's something the restaurant should address--not something customers should have to figure out on their own. I finally got my order 30 minutes after it was set to be available and while it was hot and fresh, it was not really satisfied with the demeanor of the employees. I barely received a "sorry". If you plan to come to the restaurant, I would highly recommend either calling an order or just ordering in person because the online system seems to be flawed.
