Unforgettable Vibe & Fresh Food! I'd heard about Teriyaki Madness and decided to pull over--so glad I didn't drive right by! The shop is super cute, and the staff was warm and friendly from the second I walked in. The cook was literally singing and cracking jokes while cooking, which gave the whole place such a fun, amazing vibe. As for the food: absolutely spot-on! The chicken was fresh and juicy, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the veggies were super fresh. That signature teriyaki sauce really ties it all together--it was delicious. It's located in a shopping plaza, so make sure to keep an eye out for a parking spot and pop in. Absolutely worth a visit!

1st impression :( pinched/ drained sauce

I wanted to like this place so badly but it had other plans for me! Got 2 bowls chicken teriyaki one spicy, one regular Started eating regular, it was ok! Could have used more flavor in the chicken didn't like the raw broccoli (I think sautéed in the chicken would of been better) but the other veggies were good... asked for extra sauce in case it lacked flavor (as I thought & it was pinched & drained, see picture so I guess I'll never know!) hope they didn't charge me for it (idk I didn't get receipt!) Then I moved on to the spicy& ... HAIR! there's a hair in the rice, small enough to say it's an eyelash (tried not to panic!) grabbed one piece of the chicken (from the other side!) & that flavor was so good but I couldn't get pass the hair so I didn't eat the rest! Disappointed I was looking fwd to it, not sure if I'll go back. It was pricey so......

Chicken egg roll

This place has been going viral on social media lately, so of course I had to give it a try. I ordered the spicy chicken teriakyi bowl combo. That included the spicy chicken, veggies, and I chose fried rice It also came with an egg roll and fountain drink. The chicken was good and loved how it came with a side of teriyaki sauce to drizzle on top for added umph. The veggies were crunchy how I like but I feel it lacked seasoning. The fried rice could be better. If you're looking for good fried rice this ain't it sadly. It was sticky and didn't appear to be your typical fried rice. But overall it was good. They offer 3 different sizes; the regular is more than enough. Service was quick so that tells me this isnt made to order. It's a small spot, but they do have a few tables if you choose to dine in.

Counter Area

So I saw that there was a new spot in the area and I read some reviews that were not so positive BUT I like teriyaki and I like the idea of the business so I figured I would try it out for myself. The location is a former DD spot and the outside looks kinda make shift. The inside was small and clean with a same counter area and a clear view of the cooks line. I was greeted by a nice lady who asked me to wait a moment as she was packing an order for take out. As I waited I reviewed the menu and it wasn't to long as it's a small yet simple menu. I ordered a regular teriyaki chicken bowl and after reading some reviews I was expecting to wait 15-20 mins but after about 8 mins my name was called and I was given my order after the counter lady read me back my order to confirm it was correct, in total I waited maybe 8 mins from placing order. I took the order to go and drove about two towns away. I sat down opened the bowl and right away was greeted by a generous about of grilled chicken with white rice and mixed veggies. The chicken was seasoned well as were the veggies. The rice was kinda on the cold side and would have liked it a little more warmer. I added the side of teriyaki sauce that was included on the side as it needed just a bit more. Overall not a bad experience, I would say the staff and service were okay but if the place was slammed I could definitely see issues of wait time happening. The food was decent and leaves room for improvement but had flavor and I wasn't disappointed. The regular portion was decent and I also forgot to mention they offer a Jr, Regular, and Large sizes which I think is a bonus cause next time I'm getting a Jr size. I would definitely give it a shot if you like teriyaki and you're looking for a quick take out option.

Spicy chicken teriyaki and orange chicken

Didn't feel like cooking after a long week so we decided to get some takeout from this new place in the area. We split the two by two bowl with spicy teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, fried rice and vegetables then added on the crab rangoons and chili edamame. We also got a free chicken egg roll with the order. At first I thought it was kind of expensive-$60 for all that but the bowl was a generous portion size, easily get 4 meals out of it so that's not too bad. The egg roll and rangoons were slightly overcooked but they were still pretty tasty. Both chickens were very flavorful. We also added on the mad sauce-very spicy and the yum yum sauce-both were good! The edamame was nothing special-tasted regular to me so not worth the upcharge for the alleged flavor. Overall it was pretty good. It's kind of a basic menu, not too much variety on it but it was definitely not lacking in flavor and I like that you can customize it. I would def come again.

Chicken dumplings 6pc March 2026

We were able to participate in the soft opening on March 25, 2026. If you signed up on FB you received a free bowl, $2 apps and $1 fountain drinks. The kitchen was able to get all the orders out in a timely manner. You can order in person, via the app for pickup or use a delivery service. They have a large cube wall for pickup by name. Staff was through repeating your order for accuracy. Since it was the soft opening salmon and 2 protein bowls were not available. We received the regular size bowls, one with chicken breast meat and the other was dark meat. Both had teriyaki sauce which did not overpower the chicken. You do get an extra side of teriyaki sauce to mix in if you want it for the rice or veggies too. Portion of the regular size bowl was generous. Plenty of chicken, definitely over 3 ounces, about 2 cups of rice and a cup of veggies. My personal choice would be less rice more veggies, trying to keep my girlish figure. The chicken was moist, cooked perfectly with a slight char. The chicken dumplings had crispy bottoms and were stuffed full with minced chicken. It came with a side sauce which tasted like a watery honey sauce, it was sweet but not overpowering. Everything was fresh. They have really nice chopsticks. We'll definitely be back to try the salmon and the yum-yum sauce. This is their first location on Long Island. It should do well. There's a small parking lot in front of this strip of buildings and side street parking. If you see the BP gas station you've arrived.

Hi fellow Yelpers! It's been a minute since I have done the review thing on here, and I'm actually…read moreshocked and dismayed (dramatic, I know), that I NEVER wrote a glowing review for my favorite restaurant ever -- Kotobuki, which is nestled in the heart of Babylon Village. (I'm pretty sure my profile photo is me at Kotobuki, FYI.) I was recently there celebrating an anniversary dinner, and there was no time like the present to eat half my body weight in super delicious sushi. I can gush about this place over and over, and throughout the years, I have sampled so much of what Kotobuki does best on Long Island -- fresh sashimi, delectable nigiri, and beloved sushi rolls. (This place definitely has lots of history for me, so it's a nostalgic spot as well!) We started out with an appetizer of the most incredible spicy tuna crispy rice (the best version of this I've had), and then we gorged on the sushi platter for 2. Think smooth sashimi, silky nigiri, special rolls, and little decadent touches that come with this platter, too, like the salmon carpaccio, kani salad, and my personal FAVE, the fried oysters in this garlic butter miso broth. (I need this oyster broth daily.) There's a reason why Kotobuki is always a go-to for special occasions, or even nights out when we order small from the sushi bar (their toro is a dream) and simply want the best Japanese cuisine on Long Island.

We have been coming to Mushroom on Montauk Highway for probably 20 years - I can't remember! The…read moreservice is typically fabulous! They are always friendly and remember us. And the food? Consistently top notch. I have literally never had a bad meal there. My go-tos if I'm not having sushi are usually chicken chow mein or pad Thai, or steamed shrimp with vegetables. They do all the Chinese classics and their pineapple fried rice is amazing! For lunch, the lunchbox is just enough food at a great price! It's perfect if we want sushi appetizers and then a Chinese main course, or if some of us want sushi. We have also been there for hibachi and it's always a fantastic experience. We've seen the spot renovated a few times - fresh paint and seat covers. The current maroon walls are very classy and give a quiet ambiance to the room. It almost seems odd to have televisions on -- without them the restaurant would seem fancier. Still the prices are affordable, making it perfect for a weeknight dinner.

I did a review of their horrible service 3 years ago. Some things dont change. So I deleted that so I could vent once again. (Only 1 review per person apparently) I purchased a 20 dollar lomein to go this warm evening. while I was waiting for it, the never smiling lady, Joanne, was at the front wait area. I asked her for a glass of water while I waited. She said you need to pay. I chuckled, she did not. I said, no not a bottle, from the gun as i pointed to the water soda gun. She said yes I know you need to pay! THIS PLACE SUCKS. She then said next time you pay and handed me a glass 1/3 filled with no ice. Mind you, it is all right in front of her, glasses ice soda and beer. I said no thanks, keep it. I got my overpriced greasy lomein and went home. I paid 7 dollars for extra beef because mushroom is historically miserly with protein.. It had 9, 1/8 inch by 1.5 inch pieces of beef in it. The noodle were mushy and it was loaded with grease. I only go there because they are the only local place open after 9. Go to Hong Kong chinese food in the same parking lot for takeout. Their pieces of protein are mush larger and you do not need to order extra, but they close at 9 Hong Kong is also 50% less than Mushroom and they smile. Mushroom is supposed to be the upscale place. Gag me. Picture below is entire order of beef lomein with extra beef 54 minutes ago
