Cute little spot right across from the train station. We stopped in to warm up our souls due to the frigid weather. It was delicious and would be back to try something different. Great staff, very polite and patient.

The food here was great. They have ramen for you even if you don't like it! The service here was amazing. Bring your own drink though because you have to pay for it here.

Finally getting around to checking this spot out!! My family and I love ramen and felt it was time to try a new place. We went in to order take out where the owner himself took our order and helped us out with any questions we had. Upon arriving home to eat our ramen, it was tasty and so full of flavor. I really like their approach of creating a cleaner ramen as they truly care about the Ingredients they are using and serving to their customer. We will be back again to try the shrimp ramen as they happened to be out of shrimp the day we went. Sadly I was so hungry that I never got around to taking a picture of the ramen once we got home but just know it was delicious to say the least!

Amazing food, fresh and quality ingredients. A little expensive but totally worth the money. My family is a big fan. We are repeat customers.

OMG if you have not tried O. G. Ramen in Babylon drop everything and go there now. You will not be disappointed. My sister and I went there for dinner tonight and had the opportunity to meet Sal the owner. We're so glad we did because we got to see his passion in creating the perfect ramen using clean and healthy ingredients. We started with a delicious cucumber salad, with thin, fresh, crispy sliced cucumber, in a perfectly seasoned vinaigrette with sesame seeds. My sister had the beef ramen and I had the classic ramen however, I substituted shrimp for the chicken. It was absolutely delicious. While we were there, there was a steady flow of people coming in to eat at the restaurant or do takeout. I highly recommend this restaurant and we can't wait to go back again. The restaurant has done well over the past two years and I can't wait for him to open up another restaurant, hopefully in Rockville Centre so it's closer to my house. Thanks again for a delicious dinner and a great dining experience.

4.5 Really great. Had OG Ramen for the first time for takeout and what a nice surprise. I had the vegan ramen bowl which is made with chickpea tofu (never had this before and I liked it more than regular tofu) and spinach ramen noodles. It was delicious and filling. I'm not a vegan or vegetarian but try to reduce my meat intake. Can't believe how tasty the vegan broth is. Also purchased the beef teriyaki bowl which I'm told was really great as well and full of flavor. Everything presented really cleanly. Will definitely be back here. A nice addition to Babylon Village.

If you are here reading this it means you probably had some trash $1 ramen in a plastic package before with the msg filled chalk seasoning. Let me reassure you. You are looking in the right place. O.G. Ramen is a clean environment with great customer service. They have many healthy items that won't disappoint on taste factor either. The items were explain with great detail and enthusiasm. I had a teriyaki rice bowl and my wife had the vegetarian ramen bowl. Boy oh boy was my bowl flavorful with fresh vegetables and rice cooked to perfection. The chickpea tofu was the perfect size and texture to serve proper flavor when combined with everything in the bowl. Why are you still reading this you should of ordered it already!! Oh yea my wife was kind enough to share a spoon full of her ramen bowl with me. BEST RAMEN I EVER TASTED IN MY LIFE!! She wouldn't let me have anymore. Mark my words. I will be back to get what she had on my own! Thanks O.G.

Amazing SOY-FREE ramen. Allergy sufferers rejoice! Got the beef, which is definitely my new favorite, and add toasted garlic & woodear mushrooms. I've been coming to O.G. for years but I have to say...they really nailed the flavor. I can't make my own soy free dishes close to authentic tasting compared to this place. Huge portions, friendly service, Japanese beer, and I won't suffer any allergic reactions. What's not to love?

This is a healty/organic take on ramen and it was delicious. I was visiting my family and my son, grandson and I went for dinner. We shared the ginger salad and cucumber salad. My son had the beef ramen, my grandson had the chicken teriyaki bowl and I had the classic and all were wonderful. The best part was the egg that was in each bowl. My grandson had the matcha pudding which he devoured.

THE RAMEN SALAD

This is the first time I have ever had this place and it is so good. I tried the ramen salad and it was very good. It was the first time I had ramen as a salad form. The noodles were a little more al dente than I would have liked but the dish was still very good The owner was very friendly and very informative with his food. There were other customers there and he knew them and was talking to them like they've known each other for years that made me feel better knowing the owner is taking his time to get to know his customers. I will be coming there more often and trying the other dishes that is offered. Just thinking about it is making me so hungry and wanting more!

Food was good. Service was impeccable. Clean place, looks new but very expensive for my budget. 2 soups about 54$. Just too much for me.

The Brixton - Hummus

Brixton - Babylon, NY…read more My friend and I visited Brixton on Christmas Eve and had a wonderful experience. The small plates were thoughtfully prepared, the cocktails were creative and well balanced, and the staff was attentive and clearly hardworking. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy good food and drinks. All in all, a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend

These are one of the tougher reviews to make. It is easy to be enveloped by the plethora of great…read morerestaurants in the competitive nature that is NYC, but when you venture all the way out here to Babylon, NY, you have to change that mindset a bit. The Brixton is a beautiful restaurant with very relaxed and casual vibes. The word around town is that their drinks are awesome. What about their food, though? They originally would not seat us in the middle of the afternoon because most of the empty tables were reserved. We had to request to sit outside, which was empty, before they decided to serve us. Odd that they did not even offer that to us. The General Tso' Cauliflower was the only great thing served to us. It is incredibly crispy and flavorful. You almost forgot that you were eating a piece of vegetable at times. The Short Rib Brisket Sesame burger was shocking. $18 for two White Castles-sized sliders. It was easily consumed, and I was left much to be desired. This is most definitely an appetizer item, not an entree. The Chicken Waffle was good. Nicely deep-fried and packs a lot of flavor. The waffle looked dubious. If I had to guess, it might not be mad fresh to order. Essentially, it's 3 drumsticks/wings over a possibly frozen Eggo waffle. I would recommend a second dish if you are looking to get full. The Steak frites and Eggs Benedict were the final dishes served. It is hard to mess these dishes up, but the ribeye was nicely seasoned and cut up. The dishes were nicely displayed. Overall, this is just an OK experience. When the deep-fried cauliflower appetizer is the most memorable dish here, it is quite alarming. Portion sizes are on the small end, and none of the flavors for the entrees really stuck out. Perhaps I will come here strictly for the drinks next time.

After some time of trying to reach out to the owners of this establishment as well as corporate…read moreoffices with very little interest in resolving my concerns I will go on here to express what I think of this establishment. My son used to frequent this place when he would get out of school to purchase a drink or hand warmers when it was cold. The last time he was there, the assistant manager by the name of James as well as another individual who works there, confronted my son and accused him of stealing. My son, surprised at being accused of stealing, produced the receipt of the items that he had purchased on his phone and expressed to James that he was not a thief but James would not hear it. He proceeded to call him a thief loudly in front of other customers and took out his phone to record my son. He then threw my son out of the store. My son called me very angry at the situation and I proceeded to go there directly after work to find out what happened. If my son had done anything I would have dealt with it very decisively. When I asked James if he had accused my son of stealing his response was yes. I asked him did he have proof of this. He said no. I asked if he had reviewed camera footage to confirm this accusation and he said no he did not. He said he didn't steal anything but that he just didn't trust the way he looked. I asked James if he had recorded my son on his personal phone and he said yes. I asked why he would record my 14 year old son on his personal phone when there are cameras in the store to which he had no response. I find this very disturbing. James told me that he had trouble is teenagers and that he just doesn't trust teenagers in his store. So, again, no reason or proof that my son did anything wrong but he went as far as calling my son a thief. Later that night I find out that this is not an isolated incident. My son told me that the staff in this establishment has done this to other teenagers. For example, one employee of this store grabbed a teenage boy out of the bathroom and physically threw him out of the store. But guess what? This child had not stolen anything. I personally spoke with him and he told me how the employee grabbed his arms behind his back and pushed him out of the store. This type of behavior is absolutely inexcusable, illegal and probably comes from the very top or else they would not be emboldened to act this way without fear of repercussions. The owner of this store, James and the other employees need to be held accountable for these actions. While I can maybe understand they may have issues with certain teenagers, they need training and understanding that this doesn't give them the right to treat all customers this way, especially teenagers. If there was an issue why didn't they call the police? Lastly, as an assistant manager, James is held at a higher standard and if he does not have the skills to handle these situations professionally he should not be promoted to this position. This is very concerning to me and should be to all parents. I have not, nor will I go back, to this store or give my money to a store that treats our children this way.

Finally a date night with NO KIDS!!…read more As I've reviewed in the past, The Villager is a great place for parents who like good beer and good food but also have to bring their kids with them lol. However, if you can steal away for two hours, this is also a great date spot. The music was from my generation so I was confused why it was so loud? This was my first clue that I am officially old. But that is a me problem not them. We always order the wings (top 5 on the entire island) and the Gouda fries are unparalleled! My husband ordered the gyro. Bold move ordering a cultural dish from non Greeks. He said it was really good! I like that it came on a round instead of a pocket. It gave a quesadillas feel. His only suggestion was to put the siracha on the side since that's not a traditional gyro ingredient. On another bold move, I ordered the Ramen and added braised short ribs. Wow!! I don't know who they have cooking in the back making these authentic meals but this was some of the best Ramen I've ever had. The flavors were so good and the eggs was cooked to perfection (not too runny but not over cooked). Our waitress was very nice as well. It was busy but I never felt like we had to wait long for her attention. 10/10 as always! Reliable top quality with an ever changing beer menu.
