Maybe this place should be renamed to O.M.G Ramen! Because one bite, and you'll say "OMG, This is delicious!" Sal, the owner, is just an all around fantastic person who is crazy passionate about serving the best quality food with the best quality ingredients that are good for you and good for your soul. No seed oils, artificial colors or flavors here. YESSSS. This is my kinda place, and my kiddo loves it too. They have the Little G's \which gives you options for rice bowls and ramen but my son always gets the ramen here. He subs out the egg for some veggies and he is happy as can be. I've gotten the vegan ramen a bunch of times now and Sal is fantastic about making it to your preference. Want it spicy? No problem. Want more red peppers? You're covered. The broth is rich and flavorful. Although it is a bit more than maybe another ramen place, I've been able to get two meals out of my bowl every time I've come here, and that makes it plenty worth it for me. Stopped in for a quick dinner the other night. I saw this place had good reviews so we decided to try it out. It's a small place in Babylon close to the train but there were plenty of seats. I got the keto and added noodles (I liked what was in it) and we also got the classic which was with chicken as the protein and a lighter, slightly citrusy broth. Both ramens were really good and they food came out quickly. They also have a kids menu, either a ramen bowl or rice bowl with choice of protein. They offer both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, a couple different kinds of Japanese beers and some sakes as well as sodas and juices. Great spot for a quick bite! read more

Finally getting around to checking this spot out!! My family and I love ramen and felt it was time to try a new place. We went in to order take out where the owner himself took our order and helped us out with any questions we had. Upon arriving home to eat our ramen, it was tasty and so full of flavor. I really like their approach of creating a cleaner ramen as they truly care about the Ingredients they are using and serving to their customer. The tofu was odd and fried. I guess because it is chick pea tofu and not from soy. It wasn't what I was expecting. OMG if you have not tried O. G. Ramen in Babylon drop everything and go there now. You will not be disappointed. My sister and I went there for dinner tonight and had the opportunity to meet Sal the owner. We're so glad we did because we got to see his passion in creating the perfect ramen using clean and healthy ingredients. We started with a delicious cucumber salad, with thin, fresh, crispy sliced cucumber, in a perfectly seasoned vinaigrette with sesame seeds. My sister had the beef ramen and I had the classic ramen however, I substituted shrimp for the chicken. It was absolutely delicious. While we were there, there was a steady flow of people coming in to eat at the restaurant or do takeout. I highly recommend this restaurant and we can't wait to go back again. I had the vegan ramen bowl which is made with chickpea tofu (never had this before and I liked it more than regular tofu) and spinach ramen noodles. It was delicious and filling. They have a beautiful store with authentic Japanese green tea drinks, Dr. Brown sodas, and an assortment of saki. And then there is the ramen. Some of the most flavorful broth I've ever tasted. Everybody I take with me loves it here. The green tea pudding with blueberry topping is very tasty. I highly recommend the Original or the Classic. The salad was fresh and crisp. The dressing was fantastic. We thought the ramen had a tad too much sesame oil- my daughter said it was "too oily". Next time we're in the area, we will ask for less sesame oil. The egg was super soft and perfectly cooked. The noodles were cooked al dente and had a nice texture to it when chewing. First off, just want to say congrats to Sal and team for going the extra mile on the concept of a healthy joint. Not only do they carefully source each ingredient with tons of research and thought, even their pots and pans were carefully selected. (No nonstick, no aluminium, etc) As for the food itself, its freaking delicious! Good asian food is really hard to find here on long island. Everyone is catering to the American palette. Sushi, Poke, Chinese, Ramen, all that stuff I have tried here on LI is not up to par. It's good but the flavors are always "fusioney" or at least made to match the American palette. Which is great because the restaurants should cater to their customers :-) BUT, sometimes you really want to tuck into a nice bowl of Ramen (or Poke or whatever) that really evokes the feeling that you're eating the real deal. No, when you look at the ramen, it doesnt look trad at all. But when you taste it... Damn! Noodles have a good chew, broth is surprisingly complex. The yuzu leaves a nice flavor trail with each slurp. And the Chickpea tofu is bomb! As a mostly-vegetarian I have to watch my soy intake but not here! We had the salad with Ginger dressing which had a nice and refreshing zing to it, the veggie ramen and the Matcha pudding. I'm going to bring a gallon bucket so they can make the matcha pudding for me in it. It's so light and delicious I could literally eat 5. Or 6. Or 7. I'm so happy to support a local business. Hear me out: It's missing the layers of flavor that really good ramen has. It looks right- Instagram worthy looking bowls- but it's just not there. There's no depth to the flavor. The noodles seem dry and the structure is stiff. Plus, I'm not sure how to phrase this but, the broth has no heart. Also I feel like there wasn't a lot of oil, which might sound like a good thing, but it's not. Oil helps the noodles keep their flavor - without it, it's just noodles and water. Did I hit a bad day? I don't think so. I mean, how much will the noodles/broth change from day to day? So I'm not sure about the super high reviews left. The ladies who worked there were quick, nice, and polite.
