Wow. Blink and you pass right by it. Looks like any other small takeout place in a small shopping center anywhere on Long Island. But I must say their food is restaurant quality. Pepper steak, Pork Steamed Dumplings, Chow Mein, Wonton Soup, their Egg-rolls....all fresh and delicious. This chef must have been cooking at some high end restaurant before opening up his own little place. He could open a full service restaurant with these ingredients. We discovered this place by accident visiting a friend in area and have been back multiple times since and we live 35 miles away. Keep up the great dishes. See you soon. read more

I am sad to leave this review because I love supporting small and locally owned businesses but this may have been one of the worst Chinese food experiences I've had in a while. although the staff was very pleasant and kind when I arrived to pick up my order as soon as I got home and opened our bag I got one look at our dishes and I knew something was wrong. the chow mein was basically just cabbage with rice noodles that had been so over cooked they essentially just turned to mush. it appeared to look like cabbage and chicken covered in slime. I also ordered garlic broccoli which I was hope would save the show since the chow mein was literally inedible. sadly the garlic sauced was coagulated and also appeared to be clumps of goop on the broccoli. we also ordered the boneless ribs which were the only thing I actually ate and I've vomited twice this morning after that being the only thing I ate last night. the iced tea was great though. also my apologies for not attaching photos but the chow mein was so nauseating to look at I threw it away immediately. read more

I have lived in lindenhurst for 15 years and my go to Chinese food restaurant had hair in my sons combo meal. Since then we have been looking for a new place. We have tried several places and decided to try china wok because of the reviews. We got 4 combo meals and everything was a dark brown including the fried rice. The wonton soup was brown the rice was brown. We couldn't tell one meal from the other. The rice was mushy . Small pieces of meat with tons of soupy sauce . I ordered pepper steak and I couldn't even see the green peppers. Needless to say we will be looking for another go to Chinese restaurant . read more

The serving sizes are perfect. Most places around the area are very frugal with the amount of chicken/other proteins in their dishes, so China Wok was a very happy change of pace. I have made this my go to Chinese take out spot. The General Tso's is fantastic! read more

Lived in Lindy for 20 years, eaten in almost all local area fast food Chinese.. ordered the lo-mein and chow mei fun, absolutely delicious, fresh veggies and not too oily. Fried wings were just ok, chicken and broccoli with nice sauce and packed quart container and wonton soup was better than average. Service was fast and reasonably priced, will order again! read more

Minus 10 is my rating of this place. I Ordered online @7:12 pm Sunday called the restaurant at 7:50 asking how much longer for my delivery. It was clear they had not even started cooking my order and she says 20 more mins cause they are very busy. She tells me to come pick it up, I asked for delivery for a reason. I tell her I want my food delivered. Still no food 30 mins later so I call again and she tells me "he is near me" I waited another 20 mins. I called them back and she answers in a sarcastic way..." yes ma'am" I say 1 1/2 hrs for delivery is not acceptable and I cancelled the order. I will never give them another chance. read more

I recently moved in the area and I was afraid I wouldn't find a place I liked. This place is actually really good we order here almost every Friday and they deliver to us. When I call they know exactly who I am so i don't have to explain, its great! I especially like that they have a healthy menu for myself and my Fiance loved their sesame chicken and fired rice. read more

Excellent Chinese Take Out! They aim to please. I ordered from them about four years ago and they were pleasant and the food was delicious. The second time I called back they answered the phone "Hi Rob". They definitely aim to please. They went as far as to add my name and number to their phone. Once we started ordering takeout they also added my address and confirm that as well. The food is delicious. I think once in 4 years they left something out by mistake and they drove it over to my house within minutes and apologized. Sometimes I order from them and the delivery gets to my house not 10 minutes later which I can only explain as magical because it's cooked well and you can tell it's fresh! My wife and I moved to lindenhurst 3 years ago and China Wok was the very first food delivery we had. Great choice on our part. The food was amazingly fresh and the veggies were so bright and delicious. I have never had a bad meal from here ever! The staff is awesome when u call. The owner all the way to the delivery staff is so nice and attentive. We have never gone to another Chinese food Restarant since we moved here. NEVER!! There really is no need to. For the first time since China King burned down we have finally found tasty Chinese that delivers. The chicken with garlic sauce got better the more we ate it. Theirs was the only beef lo mein my husband has ever eaten. The dumplings had a lot of flavor as did the crab Rangoon. Our one complaint would be the mu shu. The pork to cabbage ratio was a little off. We will definitely order again. read more

food is consistently good! employees are polite, and always repeat order and make sure it's correct. my family and i regularly order from them. i ordered delivery a few days ago and, about 5 minutes after the driver left, the manager called back and asked if i had gotten the correct order. she was making sure because it said on my order that a different soup than i normally get was delivered, and she wanted to make sure that it wasn't a mistake. i call that excellent customer service! very highly recommend this place! read more
