The food came out relatively quickly my only complaints is that the rice (brown rice) isn't the best tbh it's not horrid but it isn't the best brown rice I've had. I tried a few places along Jericho, but they always left me feeling blah either too greasy or chewy. Then a friend recommended Golden City, and let me tell you... we finally found THE spot! The food is typical of Chinese Take Out but they offer old-school traditional dim sum which most don't. It takes about 15 minutes, but it is worth the wait the combination of the pork and shrimp wrapped up and a nice dim sum wonton is kind of amazing And the oyster sauce is perfection Thank you, Golden city. I was gonna send back, but my friends were ok with them. Their 1st time there....Mandarin Steak, portion also not as generous as in the past. Fortunately, my friends aren't used to the EXCEPTIONAL quality of the OLD Albert's, so they thought it was very good....me, as someone who has eaten there maybe 40-50times over the years, was a little disappointed. Easily the BEST I've had. Perfect balance of spicy, savory, and packed with flavor in every bite The restaurant itself is also really beautiful inside with such a nice atmosphere, and the service was top tier. Everyone was so friendly and attentive which made the whole experience even better. Amazing food, great vibes, great service... definitely a place I'll keep coming back to

Absolutely would be back here!…read more I was in the area for work and was craving sushi. This place popped up and I am so glad it did! I went for a quick stop after work and wanted something quick- (I chose to dine in). I can tell you the service was quick! The server was attentive and took my order. I was in and out within the hour. They have seating available inside as well as outside. It has a lot of seating and it looks pretty clean in inside. They also have happy hour specials. The food was great. I ordered: Appetizers: -Clear Soup: delicious! Possibly the best and most unique clear soup I have had yet. Not your typical flavor profile. This one tastes like it was made from scratch- the broth is unique- it has a sweet aftertaste to it. The soup also has spinach in it and mushroom. Very unique and tasty overall! -Calamari steak: I'll admit I was in the craziest mood for calamari- this was one of the reasons I stopped by here. I'm a big fan of Ika Maruyaki (bbq squid) and noticed this place did not have that but this instead- I saw good reviews on it so checked it out- I will say while the calamari was cooked perfectly, the flavors weren't clicking for me. It is greasy, and the seasoning on it has an abundant mustard flavor. It became more and more overwhelming as I dove into it more, and by the end (which it was an effort to make it to that point, I'll admit) I was itching to pat the seasoning off of the calamari to make it somewhat more pleasant to eat. Would not order this again. Sushi: -Spicy Mango Shrimp Roll: solid sushi roll- rice is soft, the ratios were perfect, and the mango sauce it was topped with was also pleasant for me! -Dinosaur Roll: my friend ordered this and I had a bite of it, very good!! Loved the overall ratio from the shrimp tempura to the eel to the eel sauce. Overall a solid experience. Very fresh food and quick service- for those who work in the nearby business park.

The restaurant was very nice inside- I really wished the food lived up to the service and the ambience. The menu is extensive and will suit just about any eater but the lack of freshness was visible. The oysters for a Sunday night prime dining day were not great, nor was the tuna on the sushi roll. On the positive side, the beer was cold and fresh, and the saki was served hot. Pad Thai was good but not great. I'm glad we liked our meal partners or it would have been even less stellar. With so many great restaurants in the Huntington area, I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. If it weren't for the good service and comfortable seating, our meal would have suffered more.
