No doubt, the best Chinese food in long island so far. Just found this place and im hooked. I loveeee their cheese wontons. Im saying, you really cant go bad with any food choice. The fried chicken wings are so tasty, the shrimp in garlic sauce is simply yummm. Most importantly, when you go there in person, the lady is so welcoming and delightful. She is informative and helps you find exactly what you are craving. A must try. read more

Food is always fresh and flavorful service is always good Definitely a great place for take out..

Have gone to Wah Wah many times and have never been disappointed ..their chicken and broccoli is amazing...chicken is tender and the sauce is not overly salty...it is just delicious. Their other selections are very good too. Prices are within range and not overly expensive. This restaurant offers good ol' fashioned Chinese food....nothing fancy but always yummy and enjoyable. read more

It's your typical Chinese restaurant. We struggle to find a good one in the area and it seems like Wah Wah is the better option. No disappointment and good variety of food options. read more

Great food, reasonable prices. Sadly Mr Kim sold the business recently but it was to his cousins. So far the food is still excellent!!!!

I love this place! Hands down the best soups and egg rolls! I had hot and sour soup last night and already wanting one for today! read more

If you're thinking about going to that other Chinese place, just don't! Go here instead! I've been to many different Chinese spots in the area (and in other areas) and none compare to the freshness and flavor of wah wah kitchen. They have the best, most flavorful wonton soup I've ever had, with tons of pork and cabbage in it that's chopped fresh. Their general tso's chicken and chicken and broccoli dishes are perfectly cooked without those weird chicken pieces you sometimes find at other spots and wonder if you're actually eating chicken. Also - the egg rolls! So so good, because we all know there's nothing worse than splurging on Chinese food only to get a gross tasting egg roll. I also don't feel like death the next day like I do when I eat Chinese from some other places, so that's a plus! As for customer service, I am always greeted with such a warm smile and cheerful conversation from my friend behind the counter that sometimes I think I choose to go there simply for the good vibes Please support this business! You won't be disappointed. read more

Been going here consistently for many years. They just made a mistake with my order. Refused to rectify it whatsoever. I told them they were losing a customer. They didn't care. There's better food to be had, this was just the most conventions. If you care about good customer service, you won't go here. * PS- Not a single employee in there was wearing their mask properly, if you care about that sort of thing. read more

Never been. checked out their site by reading the reviews. I called for delivery as the site indicated they have. Bummer..no delivery

Wah-Wah is my go to spot. Cam (owner) is a light- always smiling and happy to see us. My fave dish is not on the menu (broccoli with black bean sauce) and I usually pair it with spare ribs and some veggie fried rice. The cold sesame noodles (ask for extra spicy extra scallion) also delicious. read more

Quick service, food is consistent each time, owner is friendly and always greets us with a smile.

Consistently good food clean place properly priced you won't be disappointed friendly, help, and fresh food at all

Quick service. I ordered over the phone on a Friday evening and the food was ready within 10 minutes. The general tsos chicken was great and the sauce wasn't too spicy. The fried rice and lo Maine was also great. read more

I dream of wah wah on the daily, the Food the Service is exceptional every time, unfortunately i do not know the owners name but they are the friendliest people, they clearly cook with love, which is definitely the secret ingredient. Close your eyes point to a random spot on the menu and get it because everything on the menu is amazing. They deserve 5.0 average rating. Wah wah kitchen you are a Gem. read more

I knew what I was getting into when I walk into any American style Chinese restaurant but this place was highly recommended. I ordered the Mongolian beef and headed home, but I do give them credit for there setup during this pandemic since it's contactless and you stop at the door. I opened the Mongolian beef and it smelled great but it was missing a huge aspect and that is flavor. It tasted like nothing. Everything was cooked really good but it was flavorless. I may of just come on a bad day but don't think I'll ever go back. Especially when jans is the same distance form my house. read more

Everything tasted great, but my entire family and I all got food poisoning/salmonella poisoning and were sick the entire next day. We all ordered different things (chicken & broccoli, chicken chow mei fun, pork fried rice, egg foo yung) and we think maybe the chicken wasn't fully cooked in anything we ordered, but one family member still got sick and didn't eat any chicken. Will not be going back. read more

Delicious and always fresh food! Highly recommend. I just wish they were on Uber eats but they make ordering very easy and they deliver very quickly. read more

Tried the General Tso's Chicken Combination plate and Pepper Steak Combination plate. The General Tso's chicken was sweet but not spicy enough. The Pepper steak didn't have a lot of flavor. As for the pork fried rice it was bland. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and perhaps they just had an off day. read more

My wife and I order from Wah Wah a least once a week. We've been ordering from them for over 10 years, and we haven't been disappointed. The guy who delivers knows my address and when he shows up we have had great conversations over the years. The food is great. the soups are first rate, because of dietary issues we ask for some special from time to time and they are always willing to go the extra mile, (even the delivery guy!) Great place to grab some Chinese food, Update: I finally found out what the delivery guy's name is: KEN Had the Broccoli in Garlic sauce last night.... it was fantastic.... However, my wife won't talk to me for a few days....... Sigh.... read more

First time here & I would never recommend this place at all. I ordered shrimp and it was NOT thoroughly clean. You could see the black on the back of the shrimp which is the digestive track from the shrimp. That being said, I have completely lost my appetite & I am $15 short for spending money on such a disappointment. Thanks read more

Been going here for years. Used to live in amityville but moved to Lindenhurst a few years ago. We still go out of our way to pick up from here. Being from long island, I've had my fair share of Chinese food. This place is one of my favorites. Update: 3 years later, it seems the quality of food has diminished somewhat. Several of our most recent orders tended to be dry and not up to the standard we've come to expect from Wah Wah. We have started to look elsewhere for our go to Chinese food. We'll give them one more chance I'm sure. read more

They screwed up my order 2 times. food tastes like soap. They don't get the order correct.

I wish I could give zero stars. The quality has been declining through the years. The portions are smaller and the phone service is rude. When I called about cold food the young girl told me "can't you heat it up?" Ha! If I wanted to heat up food I wouldn't be ordering takeout. Then the delivery guy picks up the cold food and he never brought us back the dinner. After twenty years of patronage - we will be finding a new place- we are fed up- read more

Best Chinese food around! Everyone in my family loves this place. Friday night is wawa night

For delivery I ordered an order of chicken wings with pork fried rice (large) and fries (large). When I open the food, it looks like it was meant to be a small portion. The chicken looks old and it even tastes old as well. Not to mention it took 55 minutes after I placed the order when the place is just 5 minutes away. Not happy at all. read more

I love this place! Their food is always fresh and delicious. That's the most important thing to me when I go out for food. I'm glad to have discovered this gem in Amityville. The people are also so lovely and friendly. Now, whenever I come out to Long Island to visit my fam, I feel so excited to stop by and pick up some food on the way. Tom read more

We order from this place every Friday. The guy who often takes our order AND delivers (I think he owns the place), I swear he's the hardest working man on Long Island. He always delivers with a smile, no matter how hectic things get. I've tipped him a few extra dollars before and he actually told me "this is too much" and tried to give me some of the money back. WHAT?! Oh and the food is awesome. It's the freshest tasting takeout I've ever had. I have a cousin who lives in another state and whenever she comes she MUST have Wah Wah's the first night. Highly recommended. I don't wanna overhype the place but it's really hard to be disappointed with them. read more

My eggrolls were left out of the order. I called back and the delivery man came back quickly with no questions asked. I intended to tip him a little more but he inisted against it. Impressed with the service. read more

I am originally from Flushing, Queens...need I say more? Believe me, I am fully aware of Chinese food. Not only is the food fresh, and the people wonderful to deal with, the food is always tasty and delivered within a very reasonable time. This family owned operation is so pleasant, that I couldn't find my credit card one night and they said "they would get me next time". How often does that happen?? Being from Massapequa, I have passed up on many local chinese food places nearby and prefer travelling to Amityville to eat what I like. The General Tso's, the Fried Wonton, are great, to name a few. read more

Food is amazing! The Lady who answers the phone is a Bird Brain though. Horrible communication, She will put you on hold while you can hear Her taking another incoming phone call , and placing their order, WTF? When she came back out of respect for my dignity, I told her to cancel my order/ Get rid of her. She sucks. read more

Moved to Lindenhurst 4 months ago and I miss my chinese food restaurant in Brooklyn, I must say being very picky with Chinese food I thought this place was great. The food was fresh and the people there were friendly, I will be back. read more

I really don't get all the positive reviews. The boneless spare ribs were good but everything else we ordered had zero flavor. Barely any salt or other seasonings. Plus they're a bit pricy compared to the other chinese restaurants in the area. Only positive I have for this place is that the food did taste and smell fresh; Sun Wah or Zheung Xing in Copiague have better food. :( read more

The only decent Chinese takeout in the area. Food is standard American-Chinese although they do have a couple of items on the menu with great Sichuan flavor. It's family-run and the family is so lovely, which is really what sets it apart from most. read more

Fried rice was SUPER oily. Ordered vegetable fried rice which had mostly cabbage and a few peas and carrots. Dumpling sauce is not the normal sauce you get at most Chinese restaurants. With so many other Chinese restaurants in the area i will definitely not be returning. read more

The food is always great and they are very nice. I have been getting takeout from them since I moved to Amityville 5 years ago and I am alway pleased! read more

I'm not even exaggerating, this was the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life. I'm not one to bash places but I just can't even believe how bad it was. Even bad Chinese food tastes good, but not from here. Great location in Amityville, close to my apt. But will never order from here again. So incredibly bland. The beef tasted like vomit. The dim sum was dry and gross. So, so bad. read more

Usually come here on a weekday after work for some takeout. I'm in and out in 10 min and the food is usually great. Anytime I've ordered while they were busy my food is kind of crappy read more

Fantastic! Both General Tso's chicken (white meat) and shrimp with bean sprouts are delicious.
