I understand things happen printers malfunction but no type of care and I understand maybe they're busy. The order was 17.54 I give her a 20$ bill and say you can keep the change, I also wanted to know if you had the bbq sauce for the fries she looks confused and says no I say okay the lady next to her says you pay for it we make it.. okay never mind. Honestly very surprised at how good this Chinese food place was. I ordered online, went in 5 minutes later to pick it up expecting to have to wait, but it was ready. It tasted really fresh and the portion was good. The prices are good comparatively to other places in the area. Adding tofu into the dish was only a dollar extra and they gave a decent portion of it which was a nice surprise. Would definitely come back here and pick up food from here again. read more

So I had 30 minutes before my doctors appointment and I wanted to grab a soup and an egg roll. I walk in and notice there is a worker at one of the service tables bagging soup noodles. I thought he had on the clear gloves like the lady behind the register. I noticed that she kept taking the glove off and on in between tasks, but the same glove. They I look at the worker bagging noodles and he has no gloves on and he sticks his hand in the box of noodles and puts them in a bag. Bad sanitary practice happening at this store. Da Hang was closed for awhile when the COVID-19 pandemic started, and we missed them so much. One day I called, and waas thrilled to know they were there... even if they were not delivering. We were jonesing for their wonton soup, their cheese stiffed wontons and their food, so we ordered. When my wife arrived, the bag with our food was ready... inside. Very good cooking for a small takeout restaurant. Excellent value for your money, I had a chicken with peanuts lunch special, complete with pork fried rice and a can of soda. The first thing I'll note is that the egg roll was anything but greasy. It was delicious and you can tell the oil in the fryer is changed regularly. My sesame chicken is not overly doughy and gives the impression of good quality. We had Kung Pow, soups and fried rice with no complaints. Been going here for a long time but something has changed. Chicken wings which were the best around are now much smaller. The food is lacking the taste that we were accustomed to getting. Had a string bean dish where they did not remove the string before cooking--just nasty! They now charge 25 cents for their home made chili oil, that's just nickel and time but if they cut corners there they must be cutting corners elsewhere. Even the fried rice has gone down in quality. Best Chinese food in town for me and the wife. We especially like their steamed dumplings and the veggie dishes which are always fresh and crunchy as we like it. Flavor is on point on almost everything I've tried so far. Lived in Queens for 10 years and I would say they meet the high standard of taste you would get around those parts. First two time it was very good-better than most I've tried in & around Massapequa & Farmingdale. 3rd time, not so much. What most Long Islanders don't know is that this, like any "Chinese takeout/restaurants" on L.I. is they are "Americanized Chinese food." Most of the items are not even recognized in China. The only places I know of on L.I. that have an AUTHENTIC Chinese/Cantonese/Honk Kong "Special menu" are "The Orient" in Bethpage on Hicksville rd, & The Asian restaurant in the mall in Levittown "Honk Kong seafood." Ask for the Special menu or Honk Kong menu. The food is like night & day, different in so many ways, & they have the Americanized menu as well for the cowardly (lol). So, this place, like every takeout Chinese on L.I., seems to fade after a few tries. I don't know if they all put extra effort into new customers orders to win them over then slack off once they've won em over, or what. But it happens over & over with each place. So far, this place is cool due to it's grease-free rolls, yellow fried rice, Coconut shrimp & Spinach & chicken dumplings. For home delivery, b/c I'm out of the other two's delivery area, I'll pot stick with em til they slack off again. Bonzai! Update-12/7/19: Have fallen in love with the Shrimp toast, as big as a white bread sammy & full of whatever. Not greasy, perfectly cooked & yummy. Comfort food indeed!
