My family and I have dined at Teresa's Italian Eatery in Middleton several times over the years, and we've always had very enjoyable experiences. That's why we were really looking forward to returning for our Easter Sunday meal. To start on a positive note, the service was excellent as always, and we were seated at a lovely table by the window. The appetizers were also very good and set the expectation for another great meal. Unfortunately, things changed when the bread arrived--it was extremely hard and dry, to the point where it was difficult to eat. While that was disappointing, we moved on, hoping it was just a minor issue. When the entrées came out, some dishes--particularly the pasta, fish, and chicken--were good. However, the two meat dishes at our table were a real letdown. The veal Parmesan chop was unusually tough, which is surprising for veal, as it's typically very tender. My prime rib had the same issue--also tough and not what you would expect from that cut of meat. When the owner or manager checked in, I chose not to raise these concerns at the table in front of my guests. But in hindsight, I feel it's important to share this feedback. The quality of the meat, especially for dishes like veal chop and prime rib, should be consistently tender and carefully sourced. We've had some excellent meals here in the past, and we truly enjoy the location, ambiance, and consistently strong service. Because of those positive experiences, we're willing to give it another try. However, we do hope this was just an off meal, as consistency--especially with key ingredients like meat--is important. We'll be back once more, and hopefully, it will reflect the high standards we've come to expect. read more

We returned to Teresa's after a year or so absence, and had an excellent dinner, as usual. Our experience was enhanced by the excellent service from Emanuelly - she was outstanding!!! The food was excellent, and all very pleasant. We were planning to sit outside, but it was a little windy, so we enjoyed the white linen tables inside. We won't be staying away for another year and plan to frequent Teresa's more often. read more

I'm VERY disappointed in the experience I had at Teresa's and I will not be back there for a loooong time. We made a reservation for 6 a couple of days before. From the moment we were seated, we felt rushed. We were rushed to put our order in. The server was hovering over us, constantly asking us, "Are you putting in an appetizer?" "Are you ready for your drink order?" As soon as someone in our party was finished with their salad, the server was there to immediately remove the plate. While we were eating our dinner, we were not through, the waitress come over and asked if we were having a dessert, if so, we would have to order it now. Teresa's rushed us out because there was another reservation and they needed to turn the table over. The server and hostess blatantly told us. That means to me, their next customers are more important than their current customers. Meanwhile, there were other tables that would comfortable fit a party of six, that wasn't considered. My most recent experience at Teresa's has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I probably will NEVER go back there. You lost me with no silverware and napkins. Asked ,had to steel it from another table. Waitress never came back. My dish was poorly made soupy tomato vodka sauce drowning the poorly cooked pasta. I asked for more chicken. I dont think I got it. Sautéed chicken really means a dry chicken cutlet cut up and thrown in. My wife's dish was poor. Again thick marinara drowning the uncooked penne. The parm was dry with chicken tenders getting glued together with mozzarella. The other plates, fish and pasta with sausage was good according to them. Will I go back, not for the money. Im not sure if the restaurant knows that poor quality food and disconnected service is a recipe for failure. Maybe people just dont know the difference. that's a plus for them. read more

Teresa's is middle of the road Italian. The Carbonara was okay. Not the worst I have ever had but certainly not the best. The portion was huge but seemed to be slightly lacking in flavor. My dad had the seafood risotto and it was about the same but with overdone seafood - especially the scallops and calamari. There is nothing that is particularly bad about Teresa's but sadly, there is nothing that is particularly good either. I do not believe that Teresa will be in our regular rotation. read more

Just had dinner at Teresa's. We ordered the sampler appetizer which was very good. The calamari in the sampler was particularly well prepared. One of the best we've had in a while. For our main course I ordered the Short Rib Pappardelle. My girlfriend ordered the Grilled Chicken Teresa. To be honest, the meals were a disappointing. The Chicken Teresa had a small portion of chicken which was overcooked. The Short Rib Pappardelle was more of a short rib flavored dish. Not a solid piece of short rib to be found. I love the food here!!! I was staying in the area and found this place down the street from my hotel. I walked in around 430 on a week night and it was not busy. I started off with some bread (they have GF bread!!!). I decided on the penne vodka with GF pasta. Even though the menu states it's spicy, it's just a little hint. It was delicious and the portions are huge! I hadn't eaten all day, and still couldn't finish it. I would love to come back here sometime! read more

My family and I have been coming to Teresa's for the better part of 10 years. We first noticed a decline in the quality of the food and service about three/four years ago. The last time we ate here was 2023 and the food quality was poor and the service was extremely slow and mistakes were made by the wait staff so we decided to never come back. We figured it's been a few years and the place is still here so we gave it another try tonight. Yikes, we should have stayed away. Food was more bland and low quality than it was a few years ago and the wait staff was ridiculously slow and there were only a handful of tables, the place was empty. We spent 2+ hours in the place with two kids because our waitress kept disappearing and when she did show up she ran away mid sentence. They were also out of simple things like the dipping sauce for the calamari. Also asked for the calamari to be well done and it was underdone and chewy. Needless to say, we gave it another shot and won't be back. I don't like leaving poor reviews, but I felt it was warranted. read more

This place is unbelievable! So darn good. It definitely wasn't our first time there but it was my first time getting the chicken broccoli and ziti and it was by far the BEST I've ever eaten!!! This place is absolutely amazing. I always get the chicken parm here in the vodka sauce with the fusilli's. Before I can even eat, I am always greeted with a warm welcoming by the manager mark. He is probably one of the most friendliest people I have ever met and everytime we see each other we talk about the Celtics. I rave about this place, not just because the food is fantastic, but because Mark makes people feel very comfortable. I tell everyone on how great of a person he is and how much the food is amazing. If you are taking out don't bother!! We ordered a small margarita pizza and an antipasto. The pizza tasted like the sauce was tomato paste, and had barely any mozzarella cheese. As far as the antipasto, it was mostly lettuce with a few tomatoes, few olives, a few thin slices of cheese as well as a few thin slices of salami. My husband and I live close by and thought it would be convenient for take out. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. There are much better pizza and antipasto places in Woburn. Came here today after a funeral service with a large party, service, waitresses and food were all amazing. Great appetizers, great entrees, great drinks and bread. Got the fusilli a La vodka with chicken, which was great, and had some of my sisters chicken prosciutto panini, also very good. Everyone was happy with their meals. When my son had my huge birthday dinner at Theresa's, he did did it on recommendation from of a friend. I was not happy with the food. He was too busy with the party to notice. My daughter-in-law only eats salad and she got a good one that night. My daughter in law picks where we celebrate Easter. It changes from year to year. I don't know why she chose Theresa's but I just go as their guest. There were no specialty salads on Easter Sunday. It was a fixed menu (truly putrid, everything garbage on the plates). I know it's a holiday weekend and you roll the dice right. If a meal takes longer than expected. Don't leave your guest guessing as to why. Go over to them and let them know it maybe a while longer. We ordered a pizza with roasted red peppers to go. The cheese was not melted and for $3 extra the roasted peppers which there were 4 pieces which were about one inch long. Most likely frozen onion rings. The arancini was good, but the display literally looked like a giant meatball. If they maybe put it as 4 arancini balls it might look more appealing. My friend ordered the Caesar salad with shrimp. Not too overdressed, but parmesany. I ordered the Penne vodka with shrimp and fresh fusilli. The fusilli was great, but wish it was more al dente. The sauce was okay, but too oily. Chicken wasn't the best and the shrimp seemed like frozen shrimp. Okay experience and food was average. If you're looking for a very nice venue to hold an event at, this is the place. My high school classmates and I just celebrated our 50th HS reunion. Pulling such a celebration together involves planning, coordination and numerous changes. One aspect involves sizing the crowd, choosing a venue, planning a menu and finding entertainment. In our case, some of these decisions were made months apart. As our reunion approached, lots of things changed BUT all along the way the event staff at Teresa's worked with us. I saw all the mixed reviews but really wanted to check this place out. My wife and I are not super picky, but we know what we like. We went in for lunch and we will definitely be back. I got the pollo milano and my wife ordered the carbonara. Huge portions, sort of reminds me of the family style restaurants I went to as a kid. Everything we had was really good and the service was great. The food was in my opinion a lot better than a lot of the other Italian restaurants in the area.
