Best in the area! A must try if you come to Branson.

The other reviewers who gave this place many stars must have been drinking tequilas! It's a hole in the wall. There were 5 of us, including teenage boys, and no one liked their food. We are pretty sure the ground beef was not beef at all. Weird taste & a powdery texture. Truly expected to get sick but didn't. Salsa is brought out in a carafe with individual small bowls, which was a nice way for us not to double dip. Guacamole was pretty tasty too. Service was fast. read more

Tequila's - Entrance to Tequilas - Mexican Near Me - Branson West, Missouri

I am a fan of this place, I always eat down in the bar and the wait staff down there is fantastic. I enjoy the margaritas after a long day on the water, but the food I find just to be solid not great. My last trip in I had the carnitas and it was just not much meat for $12.99, however I will be back, the service is so quick and the Dos Equis so good! read more

As far as the food goes, it might be the best tasting taco I've ever had. Luis, our waiter was also very attentive. If I lived here, this would be on my go-to list read more

Food was okay. El lago is a better restaurant if you are in the area. Great service sub par food.

Not the best, not the worst. If you're in the Kimberling City area and looking for food that isn't burgers, pizza, or bbq.. chances are you'll end up at Tequila's. Lots of space and they can accommodate large crowds. Fajitas are great. Ground beef tacos are very bland, not spicy, great for kids. Located in a convenient strip mall by the Walmart. It's about what you'd expect Branson Mexican food to be. read more

Awesome margaritas & great food with big portions. We would definitely go back when in Branson.

I had the lunch menu chicken quesadilla. Very hot for temperature, which I think is great. Service excellent and responsive. Try this Tex- Mex eatery and you will be pleased! read more

Extremely fast service. We had a our food out quickly. The salsa is fantastic and we had the taco supreme a must try.

Best street tacos I've had in years and their drinks are fabulous too! Salsa is tasty and mild, but if you like more heat they will give you a spicy sauce for you to mix in. Great service too. read more

Good chips, good salsa, lacked salt.. Better when you mix regular and hot. Cheese dip, really thin but good flavor. Guacamole, nice and chunky.. But really bland, lacked salt. Tequila nachos, really good. Rice, yum. Beans, bland. Long wait... But food was more good than bad.. I'm being really picky, I'd go back. read more

Tequila's - Guac! - Mexican Near Me - Branson West, Missouri

Unfortunately, I'm just here on vacation so I won't get the chance to come back. I had the beef fajitas and they're probably the best Mexican restaurant I've been to north of the border. Delicious, juicy, tender beef, soft and durable corn tortillas that don't crumble when you take a bite, and great frozen margaritas! I don't have a single complaint. read more

We ordered for a party of four. Three meals were correct and the food was good. The forth meal was not as ordered. I suggest checking the order before leaving the restaurant. read more

Nice food! A couple tamales and rice and beans. They didn't skimp on the rice and beans and the tamales were reasonable. While you might not go miles out of your way, if you're passing by this is quite an acceptable place to have your meal. Also I liked the salsa cruet, didn't run out before the chips as some place do, and the chips were home-fried and good. read more

Best carnitas in the history of the world. Prompt, attentive service. The attention to quality is obvious in every plate. Don't let the location (in a strip mall) dissuade you from visiting. Truly a hidden gem. read more

This business is not Ruth's Chris Steak House and my rating was based on the food quality/flavor and the value paid for the service. Stopped in late on a Thursday, before Memorial Day Weekend. Everyone was "starving". We consider our family to be part Mexican because half our food intake is awesome Mexican food like the food and service we got at Tequila's! Left a huge tip and they earned every bit of it. The prices they charged were very reasonable. We do Table Rock often and so far this is our favorite. Highly recommend the Carnitas and Beef Fajitas - both meals were excellent; decent flavored salsa too. Didn't have time to test the bar, so we'll stay thirsty my friends....until next time. read more

DON'T GET A TO GO ORDER UNLESS YOU WANT OVERCHARGED AND RIPPED OFF ON FOOD! I ordered queso and chips with my friends. I got queso but no chips. They gave us 2 bags of chips which was for all the orders (7 people) that's all. That was suppose to be my lunch! What a rip off, I have ordered there before and I am overcharged and I never get what I ordered. Never again! read more

Margaritas are great. Food is really good. They do charge for tortillas with quest which is not good. Place overall is great

We just moved to Branson West and we have been going to another Mexican Restaurant in town and decided to try out Tequila's and we're glad w did. The entire staff was overly nice, I have a 1 year old who likes to say thank you over and over and every employee responded to him and didn't walk by our table without a welcoming smile. I read some other reviews on here and some people complained about the service, I feel like they had to have been at a different location or have it confused because everyone here exceeded my expectation of good service, they were excellent. The food was just as amazing, full of flavor, fresh and fast. We had our food in about 10 mins on a Saturday evening. This will be our new go to for sure. read more

First off, this place was somewhat expensive. Tequila's had authentic Hispanic music, authentic Spanish employees and authentic, delicious food! Restroom looked and smelled great! Bar looked pretty cool as well! It's much better on the inside than the outside: Don't judge a book by it's cover. read more

Food was GREAT! The pico de gallo was fresh & tasty! We had chimichangas (beef & chicken) and one kid had a cheese quesadilla. Salsa at the table was "just right" with spice and we ate two full baskets of chips! We will be back if ever in the area! read more

Had a large group of 14 we had great service. The food was wonderful. Would recommend this place for sure.

Chips and salsa are very good, service friendly, atmosphere was pleasant. There's another one closer to downtown Branson but this one is the best in my opinion read more

Found roachs in the chips they did not care and comped us one meal out of a $65 meal i called health department there investigating. Avoid rhis place at all cost. read more

The service made the experience. My wife and I walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. Within 30 seconds we had chips and salsa on the table. Our waiter, Luis was nothing short of phenomenal. Within 2 minutes, we had drinks and queso and instantly felt comfortable and at ease. I didn't have time to finish my beer before Luis came out with our food which was amazing! I had a chimichanga and my wife had a quesadilla. Would order again in a heartbeat and would go back faster than the service we received. Next time you go - ask for Luis!! read more

It is off the main strip. The journey here was well worth it. I loved the fajita. It was tasty. The grilled shrimp is good. The chicken tacos are tasty. The steak was good. The fish taco was just okay, will not order it again. The fried ice cream was too frozen. I have had better. Overall this is a good Mexican restaurant. read more

Excellent food and pleasant staff. It is REAL Mexican food unlike Chevy's in St Charles that's nothing more than some big chain outfit you can find anywhere. Being originally from St Charles/Ofallon areas, moving here has been great with many restaurants to enjoy that are NOT the typical run of the mill chain outfits, although there are those here too. The Tequila's staff/family have done a fantastic job and added a second restaurant in Branson. They've worked hard to "grow" their business and build a good reputaiton. While this address shows Reed's Spring, it's actually in Branson West read more

I knew I was in the right place as soon as I saw all the Hispanic men inside working! Real Hispanics =authentic food! Chips and salsa to start. Edible not the best I ever had my guess is it's toned down for whettas. I ordered fajitas Mexicanas they too were good a little more spice wouldn't have hurt my feelings however not ever palette can handle it. My 10 yr old son said they were the best tacos he ever ate. ( we have eaten a lot of tacos). Service was amazing and he even brought my 5 yr old flan after supper when she volunteered it was her birthday! That was delicious! I would recommend trying it but if you like it hot be prepared for it to be prepared for the average person. read more

This one of our favorite restaurants. The service is excellent and the staff are exceptionality friendly. The salsa is made fresh everyday...delicious! The fajitas are awesome. My husband's favorite dish is enchiladas Rojas. By far the best Mexican restaurant in the Branson Tri-Lakes area! read more

Absolutely wonderful. Great atmosphere, great margaritas, great food (even had something for my fiancé who doesn't like Mexican food even a little). Great service. And an excellent price for all that we ordered. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, and will most definently be back next time we come to town! read more

I have had a very long day and more travel to come so to go sit down for lunch and have a con call and everyone be so nice to you is much appreciated. They were quick and friendly. The food was great. It was just what I needed. Then they even got me an extension cord yo charge my phone and computer while I was working so I was charged for the road. I am so thankful for such a great experience as it really did help my stressful day. Also they got me a to go drink for the road. You have no idea how much their kindness means to me. I will defiantly be back the next time I am in town. read more

Tequilas is our go to Mexican restaurant in the area. Best food, location and service. Great spot for locals and tourists. Check it out!

Mexican is my favorite. This is my favorite Mexican place to eat when visiting Branson. It's a little more of a drive than a few others you'd come across if you're heading there from downtown Branson, but worth it. read more

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've eaten at. I'm a big chips n salsa guy. While I like very hot, their salsa was very flavourful. Their chips were fresh, light n crispy. Had a steak burrito and wife had a taco salad. Both were very well prepared. Would definitely go back anf recommended. read more

This place has really great food! If you like tamales, they are homemade daily here and are delicious! Next time, I will order more and take several home with me. They were THAT good! We are from the KC area and have a heavy Hispanic population and I would put Tequila's food up against any I've come across at home. We also ordered taquitos, fish tacos, the burritos Mexicanos, and the fajita quesadillas. No complaints about any of the menu items. The service was marginal, but the food was good enough to overlook our empty drink glasses. We will go back again without question. read more

Very pleasantly surprised. Fast service and excellent food. My wife and I split a steak Burrito Grande and my son had the #9 lunch special (lunch specials are good all day) which consisted of a cheese quesadilla, a beef burrito and a chicken enchilada. Everything was delicious - very flavorful. Will definitely be back and, based on our one experience, highly recommend Tequila's in Branson West. read more

This is a great stop for Mexican food if you are visiting the TalkingRocks. The food is authentic, the price just and the service great. The veg and shrimp chimichanga both tasted great and were sumptuous. The Margarita served was neat and very much to our taste. Great find! read more
