Chicken shoyu ramen reallyyy good. Super well-made and apparently they only make 20 a day. Def see why they have a 4.5 star looking avg rating on Yelp

Great RAMEN!! See my previous reviews. Today I ordered the Mini Gyu -Don as my appetizer--FANTASTIC!!!! Delicious!!! Very Thin ribbons of beef, sweet carmelized onions, red ginger, over soft warm rice...comfort rice is what I felt like I was eating, in terms of that rice, and the deliciousness of the onions and beef. Mmmmm. My Teppen Shoyu Ramen was great, I added bamboo shoots (+$3.50). The broth is very rich and flavorful...it's usually the ramen I get here. The homemade gyoza are delish, too. Had them a while back. You'll have a great meal here. Nice, helpful service too!

This is one of the places that has been on my to visit list on Yelp. I went yesterday and I had the Chicken Shoyu. The broth was tasty but I would have liked it to have been hotter. And the flavor was only ok, I really wanted the flavor to be more layered, and I asked for a little spicy but it wasn't. I decided to trek there from Chelsea. It was tasty but I don't know if I'll be back. The service felt more like take out service and the space was cozy.

This is really good Ramen and the best part is that this joint is opened pretty late. It's a small place and attracts a younger population. Menu is decent, the the choices for non-pork broth are very limited. I ordered the one with a Veggie broth with Chicken on the side, and the Ramen was very flavorful and spicy, which I love.

First time trying Takoyaki, I have been missing out. Its creamy and the octopus is tender inside with a nice light crispy batter outside. I am fan. I was really here for the Ramen, I was feeling under the weather and it was the perfect pick me up. The broth was rich, silky and delicious. I could honestly drink it for breakfast 6 times a week. The noodles were also not overdone which is a sign of good ramen. I enjoy the quaint, coziness of this shop, I will be back.

Cute small ramen shop with no frills. Food came out pretty quickly as well. I enjoyed the takoyaki, but found the calamari a bit too breaded for my preference. The ramens were huge and super filling. They are open pretty late and it's easy to walk in and get a table. They have manga on their shelves as well

Solid ramen spot - I've ordered the Teppen Spicy Ramen a few times from here and it's always been consistent; good portion size and nice flavor notes (including some spice). Wash it down with a nice Sapporo and now we're talking! The bowl is $20 and feels adequate for the price point. Inside is no frills but feels cozy for those cold winter days.

Decent ramen in the place for a quick bite! Very speedy service; they are ready to seat you and take your order right away. I came for lunch during my time at the office and I appreciated this speediness! The noodles are pretty thin and the broth is a little salty, and I was a little disappointed that the egg was almost fully cooked ): Wish it was a bit runny. But the green onions were such a plus to everything and they put a lot of it! Very chill/casual place for when you are craving Japanese ramen/curry/etc (:

Pretty decent ramen. I got the shoyu ramen, which has some pork, and a half an egg. Maybe I'm a noodle snob, but I prefer my noodles to be a bit more chewy and the meat to have more of a char flavor. It was so tender that it fell apart instantly with my chopsticks. The service here is great, since it's a small shop so the waiters can see you right away. Maybe next time, I'll add something with some texture like corn, bamboo shoots, or the mysterious "wood ear" mushrooms. For ~$17 it's reasonable. Most places wouldn't even have meat for under $20.

    Chicken Shio Ramen
    Rainey C.

Came on a rainy day and was the perfect warm meal! It was a weekday lunch and it was pretty busy when I came but there were a few tables open still at the back so was seated quickly. Ordered the Chicken Shio Ramen and it was really light yet flavorful. Was in and out in half an hour, super fast service!!

I just had a bowl of Shio ramen, but honestly, it looked more like Paitan to me. The service was quite good, and the taste was enjoyable. Still, I couldn't help but wonder--was it really Shio? Or was I misjudging it?

Perfect place for a cold winter night. Snagged a table for four in a walk-in, place is very unassuming but clean with efficient service. They were out of a couple things we tried to order (curry ramen and Sapporo beer) but the menu is extensive and has several vegetarian (even a vegan) ramen options that did NOT disappoint. Ramen was hot, fresh and super flavorful. decent portions for around $19 per bowl. Recommend stopping in if in the area and need something filling and tasty!

Didn't know what to expect in terms of ramen in this part of town. Came on a Saturday evening and while the streets were quiet, teppen ramen had a nice flow of customers. It didn't feel crowded at any point and definitely not empty. Got the house chicken wings which were promptly served. I thought they looked dry but the inside was infused by some marinade, so be careful not to squirt the juice all over while biting into it. The miso ramen broth was flavorful and the ramen was soft but chewy. Was surprised about the food. Service was quick.

The tables, floors, and bathrooms were all very clean. This will be short and sweet. I ordered the Shrimp Bao. It was very good. The shrimp was crispy and tasty, but I think there should be 2 per order. One was not enough. 5/5 for taste 1/5 for quantity. I also ordered the Oh So Hot ! Miso. This consisted of pork and chicken broth, spicy ground chicken, spinach, bean sprouts, cabbage, and nori. I ordered it spicy, but I should have gotten it hot instead. I like spicy food, and the spicy needed more kick to me. But it was delicious. 5/5 Til we eat again...

We walked into a comfortable modern space with a casual energy that worked well for both a quick ramen meal and a longer dinner with friends. The interior had a warm, inviting feel with a layout that accommodated both small groups and solo diners, and the open kitchen added a layer of engagement to the experience. The ramen is the main highlight, especially the rich and flavorful broths. We ordered a few options and found the EAK ramen standing out with its deep, savory broth and satisfying texture, the noodles having a good chew that held up well against the richness of the soup. The Zebra and chicken-based ramen offered different flavor profiles, each arriving with well-prepared toppings and balanced seasoning. The small plates were also worth exploring, with items like takoyaki and chicken karaage adding more variety to the meal, each dish arriving hot and well assembled. The menu had a lot of choices beyond ramen, which made it a good option for groups with different preferences. Service was quick and the restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to settle in. It could get busy during peak times, but the overall dining experience moved along smoothly. The staff moved through the room with efficiency, and the pacing of the meal kept the experience comfortable without feeling rushed. Overall, E.A.K. Ramen is a solid ramen spot in Hell's Kitchen with flavorful broths, a diverse menu, and a comfortable setting. While some dishes may vary depending on what you order, the strong ramen selection and variety of Japanese dishes make it a place worth checking out.

Cozy no-frills ramen bar near the theater district. I enjoyed a delicious, balanced bowl of Paitan…read moreramen ($19). No complaints, except that I guess I prefer Tonkostu (pork bone) over Paitan (chicken bone). I appreciated sitting at the bar to watch the lone ramen monger stir around the next batches of broth, hand-torching some chashu; boiling, whip-drying, and gently nestling my noodles, then manually laying out the toppings. The dish feels real, personal.

We walked into a compact dining room with a handful of tables and counter seating facing the open kitchen, giving the space a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The room had a warm, focused energy with the sounds of the kitchen and the hum of conversation filling the space, and the seating arrangement kept the attention on the food being prepared in front of us. The ramen is the reason to come here. We ordered a few bowls and found the signature chicken paitan broth rich, creamy, and full of flavor without feeling overly heavy. The noodles had a nice texture that held up well in the broth, and the toppings were thoughtfully prepared, with the chashu tender and the seasoned egg adding a creamy richness to the bowl. The spicy versions added an extra layer of heat without overpowering the chicken broth, and the deluxe bowls offered generous portions with additional toppings that made the meal feel more substantial. The chicken curry ramen was another standout, combining the comforting broth with a mild, savory curry flavor that added a different dimension to the bowl. The side dishes complemented the meal well, with options like bao buns, takoyaki, and onigiri adding variety, though some appetizers were on the smaller side and the ramen itself was filling enough to be the main focus. Service was generally quick, and even during busy periods the food came out at a good pace. The team moved through the room with efficiency, and the pacing of the meal kept the experience smooth without feeling rushed. The biggest thing to plan around is the limited seating. The restaurant fills up quickly, especially during lunch and dinner hours, so there may be a short wait for a table. The compact dining room could also feel crowded during peak times, but that was part of the restaurant's charm. Overall, TORIBRO Ramen is a great spot for anyone looking for a comforting bowl of chicken-based ramen in New York City. The flavorful broth, well-prepared noodles, and cozy atmosphere make it an easy place to revisit, especially on a cold day or whenever we are craving a satisfying bowl of ramen.
