Pasta is al dente, felt so fresh and if you're from America, you're gonna love this because I felt the difference immediately. The meatballs were soft and tasty. We loved the chicory and potatoes! Those potatoes were so good I would choose them over fries (omg so American I know). I got the Mimi's spritz, which tasted like a Aperol spritz. One of my favorite spritz's of the trip! It's true what they say about Italian ingredients, and the price point is great. I tried some of my friend's Italian soda called Chinotto Neri, it's like a cola but less sweet but still tasty and refreshing. Mimi is a dependable pasta spot, with plenty of menu options for pasta and beverages. The bacon was insanely crunchy in the pasta too which added another dimension in the dish, we had Amatriciana pasta nonstop in Rome but Il Duca's was the absolute best. The tiramisu was also incredible, incomparable to what I've had in the US, so rich and creamy with a ton of dark depth with the espresso.
