Came here three times to give them a fair shot, but I doubt I'll be back often. I didn't hate it, but I also didn't love it. Turns out creamy ramen just isn't for me.
If you are coming here though, here's what I've tried, ordered from most favorite to least favorite:
- Gyoza. Extremely juicy! Don't let this go cold though, and make sure to eat it while it's hot. Honestly, they should just open up a soup dumpling restaurant.
- Tan tan men. The ground beef and crushed peanuts combo was a match made in heaven. I highly recommend this if you don't mind spicy.
- Tori paitan ramen. It was a bit plain, but I respect that. It doesn't try to be something it's not by adding unnecessarily complex flavors. Chicken was super tender.
- Tori miso ramen. I was not a fan of the broth at first, but the more I ate it, the more it grew on me. That or I just didn't want to waste a perfectly good bowl of ramen. Either way, I would probably not get it again. Chicken was super tender, though.
- Karashibi miso ramen. This one means business. When they say spicy, they mean it. As much as I loved how spicy it was, the pork belly was overcooked, so that was disappointing.
- Soda. Their "homemade" sodas (specifically the lychee, melon, and white peach sodas) look and taste like watered down ramune.
Rounding off the review, staff were nice and friendly, and portions were just right. read more
