My wife and I were really craving some real Asian food after being on a cruise ship for the past few nights. We stumbled upon this spot, which was not too far from the cruise terminal and on the way to the Market Hall. The ramen was delicious! Would definitely come back here if we were ever in town again.

Really enjoyed the tonkatsu ramen. Savory broth and firm, delicious noodles. Very good.

This place is seriously popular! We arrived 5 minutes after opening on a rainy Sunday, and the…read moretables were already full, with an additional 3 groups waiting in front of us. They do not take reservations, walk-ins only. As we ate, the line never got shorter, only longer. Needless to say, the expectations were super high (it didn't help that it was also recommended to me as the best ramen in all of the Netherlands). The boiled chicken gyoza was extremely average. You can get similar tasting gyoza frozen from an Asian grocery store. I tried both the signature soy and the miso ramen, and both are savory. The miso was very creamy, and (to my surprise) I found it even more salty than the soy. In the end, preferred the signature soy better. Each bowl comes with 2 sheets of nori, some wakame seaweed, half an egg, a large slice of char siu, and some spring onions. The menu doesn't actually specify what toppings comes with the ramen. There is an "extra toppings" section. However, to me, adding "extra corn", "extra bamboo shoots", etc would mean the dish already included corn, bamboo shoots, etc. But it doesn't. An easy fix is to simply list out what comes with the ramen on the menu. Also, a lack of veggies isn't necessarily a deal breaker, but the most disappointing part was the char siu. The slice was thick and tender, but quite flavorless. If it was marinated, I couldn't tell at all. On the plus side, they offer a large variety of condiments. My suggestion is to try at least one or two. Mix the condiment(s) into your spoon with a bit of soup. This way, you can taste test the combination without contaminating the rest of the bowl. I personally liked the minced garlic paste (use the stirring sticks to scoop out a small amount) and the crispy onion flakes. In addition to a variety of paid beverages, they offer free barley tea! I haven't been to a restaurant where they served free barley tea since I was in Korea, so this was a nice walk down memory lane. The barley tea was chilled, perfect for a warm summer day. I don't think this place is bad, but I've definitely had better. Price was decent, though!
