Tender Greens...but also the darker the greens, the better the greens haha! I come to this specific Hollywood location whenever I need a quick pick-up healthy option and if I'm in the area. I placed a pick up order via the Uber Eats app which I always feel is convenient and at times comes with promos/discounts if you order through the app. I am eager to save a buck or two. My main was a California bowl with grilled salmon and on my el la carte(sides) a farro salad and some seasonal veggies. I also asked for a side of chipotle aioli...always fire and goes well with anything! Everything was good enough for my stomach and felt content. Nourishing and healthy meals will always win for real. I'm not sure if the Hollywood location is just severely lacking or if the whole Tender Greens chain is going downhill, but this was a huge disappointment. I ordered the steak plate with beans and salad and the whole thing was so average and completely lacking in flavor. The beans were egregiously hot while the steak was barely warm, which made no sense. My boyfriend got the Cali Bowl with chicken and then sides of salmon and mac & cheese. The chicken was full of fat and weird bits, and the mac & cheese was dried out and hard -- honestly inedible. If we weren't on a time crunch, I would've had them remake the Mac & cheese. Service was also just... strange. Despite the food arriving lukewarm, it took about 25 minutes to get our order, and the server was awkward and off-putting. There were six employees standing around and barely anyone in the restaurant, so I really don't understand the delay or lack of care. Please skip this location. I've always liked Tender Greens and the variety they offer, but this spot missed the mark in every possible way. I'm hoping other locations haven't fallen this far. read more

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time stopping by Tender Greens in Hollywood. The staff was so kind and went above and beyond for us. Isabelle patiently took our order and regretfully informed me that they had run out of the salad that I wanted to try (Beet and Burrata), but immediately offered me to pick any salad from their menu. I got the Harvest Chicken Salad and they added in beets for me! It was sooo delicious and you could tell how fresh all the ingredients were. The staff was very accommodating and we felt very welcome there. Alex came over to check on us and offered to grab us a beverage, which was so thoughtful! It is so sad to see how the service at this location has become so awful. I used to come here four or five times a week a few years back. In recent months I have come here for lunch and every single time my experience is worse and worse. I was ignored by every single worker behind the counter as they were focused on pickup orders. After 10 minutes of waiting and being ignored the cashier/order taker said are you here to pick up? I responded no I would like to order for here. After paying I was given a number and proceeded to sit in the dining area which 75% of the tables had used dishes on them. I waited for my food to come for another 20 minutes and it was cold and it wasn't a salad. This is my last time eating here. Sad! read more

I really enjoyed visiting Tender Greens in hollywood. The restaurant itself is very large with a ton of seating. I felt it was very clean besides some plates from customers but it was also very busy so I don't hold that against the workers. The entire staff was working really hard and were all really friendly. I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich and a hibiscus tea. Personally the hibiscus tea was too sugary, I prefer just a tea based drink but my friends enjoyed theirs. I wanted to try something new so I got the Chicken Pesto sandwich and the woman who took my order reassured me on the deliciousness of the sandwich. She was right, and so kind!! We talked about her birthday coming up on the 25th. The staff here was so kind, both the woman who took my order and the man who brought me my meal and checked in. Boy oh boy do I love tender Greens! I think it's a great restaurant, the food is good, the prices are reasonable. If you're not familiar tender greens offers somewhat upscale versions of classic American food dishes. There's a meat, starch, a vegetable. And it's all done very well and it's all really quite delicious. This is a nice location right in the heart of Hollywood. The location is clean, it's well kept, there's plenty of inside seating. The line can get backed up sometimes during meal times, but the service is quick and it's not going to be too much of an issue. The only thing that brings this location down to a four star is the parking. I understand parking in Hollywood is difficult, and there is a small parking lot in the back of the building, but other than that you're going to end up having to pay for parking. Which if you're already paying for a meal, it's annoying to have to pay for parking as well. So, if you're just walking or taking a rideshare to this location parking's not going to be an issue. But if you're driving to this location just know that you are going to have to pay for parking. read more

I order takeout quite often and it always hits the spot! Romaine is extra crunchy, mint lemonade is crisp and refreshing, and the seared tuna has little bits of the perfect saltiness. I work across the street and ordered the bbq chicken salad Tuesday March 25th at around 2:30pm. Everyone was really nice and my order was put together promptly. It was good but I think this salad was contaminated as immediately after I had stomach cramps and diarrhea for four days after. As I wrote this, my stomach cramps are not gone and I have been fighting this with an aggressive dose of probiotics. Luckily each day, my condition has gotten slowly better but I can't ever go back there. I'm just glad I didn't have to go to urgent care. I've been going to this place for a long time and they don't deserve the bad reviews! It's a nice place, fun to eat in, the surface is good and the store is clean. The employees are nice and helpful. At times they're stressed, but that's because it's so busy and there's always so many customers, people are only human! The food is delicious, my favorite is the Pacific Grilled Salmon bowl. The employees tend to know me and my mom's favorites in advance now which is really sweet. We add requests like tossing the salads and they do it which is great customer service. I have been here many times It use to be one of my favorite local food spots but now it is just absolutely disgusting!!! I placed an order thru uber eats half of my order was missing. The Mac and cheese portion was the smaller than the dressing container they gave me. The romaine salad I ordered had redfish brownish stuff as if it's expired and they didn't both cutting the lettuce just gave me block of it.The chicken looked completely raw and undercooked. They packaged everything so horribly you can't tell their employees don't have a single care for the cleanliness and safety of their customers consuming their food. I got the salmon plate with sides of mashed potatoes and baby spinach with goat cheese. The salmon was a little small, but it was super delicious and cooked. Well, the mashed potatoes were the best thing on my plate. They are velvety, smooth, and really hearty. I was nervous about the baby spinach, but I loved it and it came with a unique sort of dressing coding. That was amazing and a pair well with the goat cheese. I went to tender greens to pick up my family meal. My chicken first of all was slimy and raw and sticky. That grossed everyone in my family out. So we decided to get back in the car and return the chicken. The manager argued with me that the chicken wasn't raw or slimy, but the chicken literally sticks together with juices. My daughter bit a raw piece of chicken and it was chewy and I told her to spit it out before she gets salmonella. I can't believe the manager argued with me instead of offering a solution!!! If we get food poisoning i will be absolutely furious that all the manager told me was it's not raw. I didn't even ask for my money back just wanted to get a good piece of chicken to feed my family.
