Fortunately, after a thorough inspection of both the roof and attic, he confirmed they had not entered my home. He explained that a queen bee most likely died on the roof, and the swarm was returning and will eventually disippate. Jesse was incredibly knowledgable, responsive and generous with sharing information about bees and nature. His passion and expertise is impressive. I could not recommend him more highly for anything related to bees. Thank you, Jesse!

I had a rodent problem in our crawl space. I called Ryan and he thoughtfully walked me through the…read moreprocess over the phone. We set up a time and he came over to my house to take a look. Ryan explained everything in great detail and educated me on things like where rodents could get into the house, what they like to eat, the difference between mice and rats (who knew rats were so intelligent), different kinds of traps, etc. We walked around the house and identified spots that should be sealed up. He offered practical solutions like chicken wire and expanding spray foam (typically used for insulation). He asked me if neighbors were setting out poison because he saw several dead critters in my crawl space. It turns out, a week later I did see a poison trap set up a few houses away from me. His down to earth approach on problem solving resonated with me. There's no black and white answer when you have rodents. Ryan was very patient and made sure I understood all of the options. It's been a month since he came out. Since then, I caught one mouse, sealed up the obvious spots around the house, and haven't seen any new activity. If the rodents do come back, I feel much more prepared to deal with it the next time around. If I can't, I won't hesitate to call Ryan again.

Breaks my heart to give a poor review. I had Gavilan come out for the last 3 years every spring…read morebefore my apple trees bloomed to spray for aphids. Never had a problem. This year not sure what happened. The pesticide was mixed incorrectly and almost killed my trees. They put out new growth in parts of the tree but not in others. One tree was so stressed there are no apples and the other has just a handful. We used to get buckets. The lawn below the trees died as well. We're trying to reseed but it's going slowly. My concern is that the apples themselves on the one tree may be toxic since the spray killed the lawn. My golden delicious is not happy and I am hoping it doesn't die. I was given a refund but if my trees die... I would make sure when they come to spray that they have correctly mixed the pesticide.
