The restaurant is large inside and can easily accommodate dinner group sizes. The menu options are straightforward. They have different variations of a burger and hot dog. I first heard about Taste of India from our neighbors and was disappointed to hear it was in a food court at the mall. Then I read the review in the paper and learned why they opened in the mall. Not because the Taste of India is fast food but because the family wanted to expose more people to Indian flavors. That changed my mind! The Butter Chicken at Taste of India was perfect for me, almost no heat, just wonderful, rich, warm spices. Chicken was cooked to perfection. The naan was soft and light, great for scooping up the generous helping of sauce. The basmati rice was perfectly cooked. The lentils had a little heat but not too much. All of my portions were HUGE! Enough for an additional meal. I tried the Mango Lassi drink. It was like drinking a fresh mango. Indian food is known for its vegetarian selections and Taste of India is no exception. I'm looking forward to trying them next time. The service was excellent, polite and informative. They were very patient with me as I tried to decide which dish to try.
