I really like this place for coffee and the name has a familiarity to it. The neighborhood has a really cool vibe.

Lemon cake and chai latte.

4-1/2 stars. Small, but cozy, Ten Belles is a lovely cafe located near Canal Saint Martin. It attracts a notable Anglophone crowd, and it offers plenty of choices of cakes and coffees for an afternoon break. I really enjoyed my slice of lemon cake (tart and generous with the icing) and chai latte (well-spiced and rich). Service could've been friendlier, but otherwise Ten Belles is my new-favorite cafe spot in Paris-- I'd love to go back to try more of their cakes and breads!

I was in the area and needed a strong coffee to start my day. Found this via Google and so glad I chose this over other places with more reviews! The cafe is quaint but very casual and the coffee here is amazingly strong. Will be coming back here soon!

This is my favorite cup of coffee in the world. I loved getting the cafe creme here every weekend when I lived in Paris. This is where I learned to appreciate coffee without sugar. There's no Wi-Fi here so my friends and I would sit for hours with pastries and conversation, or take our coffee to go and sit by the canal. I live in the US now but still think about Ten Belles all the time and hopes the staff receive great success.

The best capuccino I've had in Paris :) They use "lait cru" raw milk, excellent freshly roasted beans, and the barista was also the server!

Cafe Creme (4 Euros)

Get the Cafe Creme (4 Euros) and slowly sip it because it is truly amazing! This place is cute, plays good cafe music, and has an extremely friendly barista! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because there is no wifi - which forced me to sip my cafe creme in full focus - so no complaints really.

After reading reviews on how the coffee here should be really good, my cousin & I decided to head on over to 10 Belles. Unfortunately, I forgot that the place is known for their coffee, according to websites like Hip Paris & Timeout (I had a bunch of cafes pinned in my City Maps 2GO). Ugh. I said, "Je voudrais chocolat chaud......" & ordered this dessert thing sitting on the counter. The guy said that this was "coffee cake, without the coffee".. OK....... That cost around €3. My cousin said it was "OK", & "Was it worth €3? ....probably not".. At one point all these girls started coming in, & there were 10 belles in.........10 Belles... This review won't be very helpful, because I didn't order Ten Belles' supposedly super fantastic coffee. I thought the small cup of chocolat chaud (hot chocolate) was nice & sweet, but for €5, I guess I thought it was a little pricey. Désolé.

Perfect café crème to jolt me out of my jet lag!

Best place for coffee in Paris. The French are so obsessed and meticulous in all things, including their food, but they seriously are neglectful of their coffee. They seem to be happy with their "noisettes", bitter watered down macchiatos that look like and taste like brackish water. At last I found a coffee place in Paris with baristas that truly care about their craft. Thank you Ten Belles!

Fun cafe that's super cute and has some neat upstairs seating. The scones and jam were very good. Will visit again!

Luke warm, watery coffee and unhelpful, disinterested staff. I wouldn't bother going back.

World class coffee served with no attitude but lots of care. Pure winner (and cheaper than Starbucks to boot).

She told me I needed to get the pain au chocolat as they tend to run out. I got myself the ham and tomato thing as well as a big log covered in chocolate. I ate what I got on my flight back to LA. My friend was right. They make good stuff. I have to commend the person working. She was literally the only person out there. It was quite busy and she had her hands full

Upon entering the bakery, I was greeted by the aroma of butter and the sight of neat rows of fresh pastries. I really wanted to try one of everything, but I was determined to try the pain au chocolat, a personal favorite. Le Grenier a Pain's pain au chocolat was much larger and heartier than others I've tried yet retained its buttery-flakiness without feeling too heavy. I really enjoyed the pillowy texture of the pain au chocolat, which included a generous amount of chocolate folded inside. Paired with a cafe au lait, I was in heaven. The bakery is small yet inviting, and there was no seating indoors or outdoors. While I was hoping to enjoy my pastry on-the-go, it started pouring outside, so I was forced to huddle underneath the awning while I consumed my pain au chocolat. While I'd definitley come back for another pain au chocolat, I would also want to sample their savory pastries on my next visit.

We sat on the second floor but there is seating in the passage way as well. They do have wine in addition to coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. We tried the pistachio tart, the acrulier (like a fancier Ferrero rocher) and Kalingo (a chocolate cake). I had the gunpowder green tea while my sister had the hot chocolate. I honestly liked their hot chocolate more than the one at Angelina. It was rich but not chalky and the perfect amount of sweetness. The pistachio tart was the best one we've ever had and revived our spirits after a long day of walking. You pay downstairs and credit cards are accepted.

This is a two floor establishment. The upstairs floor is a bit cozier and also has a bathroom if needed. I got one of those cozy window seats where I just sat and enjoyed the view while I ate. The menu + payment is all done via QR Code so things are super easy. Also, they have this cool thing where the dishes come up via a machine of sorts from the ground floor to the main floor. Therefore, the waiters don't actually have to go to the kitchen to grab any food. I went ahead and chose the most provocative item: the Avocado Halloumi Benny. Damn that looked like a breakfast I'd get in the US. A nice and generous brioche bread. Generous amounts of Halloumi. The sun dried tomatoes added another bounce to it. The paprika too added the kick I needed. Then you add the egg. It almost felt like heaven. This kept me full till dinner! I washed it all off with a cold brew. I asked for milk too, but the waitress must have gotten confused and gave it to me black. In this case, it probably was better as this easily washed out the immaculate breakfast I had.
