By far the worst experience I have had in any coffee shop in any country. Along with a number of other ways Channa chased us out, I had a really awful time ordering with him: he was being rude to the new barista he was teaching, he pedantically tried to clarify that I wanted a double shot instead of a single in all the drinks, and then (after he switched to English) he claimed that "We don't make lattes here. We make cafe crèmes." I stared at him blankly and pointed at his menu. If you are so protective of the "image" of your coffee shop, try a few things: - Don't treat your new employees like they are inefficient. They are a direct reflection of your teaching and treatment. - FIX YOUR MENU. Yes, in France they do not usually use the word latte, but YOU DID.

Awesome coffee shop in Le Marais just a couple blocks away from the Arts et Métiers metro station. The establishment itself is situated along a narrow street with its storefront marked by a café sign so it can be easily located. Ambiance is warm and cozy with comfortable furniture throughout, making it the perfect place to lounge around while sipping on great cappuccino. Inside, however, is quite small and may feel claustrophobic especially when packed with guests. Being owned by a British person, this is one of the few places in the city where you don't have to speak French fluently in order to get superb customer service. With that being said, you can actually order a drink in English without being ignored/glared at by the staff. I also liked how the owner's very knowledgeable with anything that revolves around coffee so feel free to ask him questions. He's even open to recommend other cafés as he suggested for us to check out Coffee Collective during our stay in Copenhagen! As far as food is concerned, they offer pastries and sandwiches from various specialty shops throughout Paris. One particular dish we got to try was the chocolate tart from Broken Biscuits which went well with their cappuccino. Overall, Loustic is a great pit stop if you happen to be around the neighborhood and in need of an extra boost from caffeine or just want something delicious to snack on. We'll definitely try to come back during our next trip to Paris and check out the other items on the menu.

Perfect location (not very touristic), beautiful and cozy interior and very friendly passionate owner. We liked it a lot. The espresso with beans from Costa Rica was perfect and the café crème was so spicy. Loved it! We got also some granola and jus, the taste was good. We would definitely come back when in Paris.

I love the super cosy atmosphere and the decoration. It's a great place to just hang out while sipping great cappucinos. The place is cute and clean, the staff is friendly and the music is nice. 8,70€ got me a very good cappucino and a nice berry crumble. I will definitely be back.

This place is so amazing that I am actually writing this review as I sit here so that I don't forget anything! Super cute place, REALLY comfy seating, bigger than it first appears. No real outdoor seating, so you're out of luck if that's your thing. Now the important part: the coffee. AMAZING. Many of you may know that French coffee tends to be a disappointment, but this place is the best I've had, and I come to France frequently. (Okay so I don't usually drink coffee, I drink espresso, but it's close enough.) The thing that pushed this place to five stars for me was their cardamom pastry. It looks sort of like a morning bun but with almonds on top. It comes in cinnamon and cardamom, but being a cardamom fiend I chose cardamom and OH BOY was it worth it! I love cardamom and eat it so often that most things with cardamom don't even taste like it to me any more, but this tasted overwhelmingly of cardamom and it was amazing. That being said, since it is quite strong you might want to take that into consideration before ordering if you're not sure about it. Wish I could give 5 stars again, will certainly return here any time I am in Paris! Eta: forgot to mention the price but it is VERY reasonable as far as cafes in Paris go. And excellent considering the quality received!

Great place to go if you need to get some studying done or some office work done. There is free WiFi and plenty of Botique seating. The vibe is rustic-hipster (they have a lot of kookier patterns and plenty of old r&b music playing). Overall the coffee is GREAT. And the service is nice. They spoke English too! Even though the coffee was a bit over priced, I thoroughly enjoyed my morning at Loustic.

The only spot I found with pour-over setup. Fantastic coffee and a great shot of espresso- owner and barista were super friendly and lots of space and fun interior. I'll go back for sure

Love Love! Great little spot, free wifi, great coffee, great food...decor is fun and comfortable simultaneously. Good stuff to read, good music. I mean what more can you ask for in a cafe??? Oh, great food!...I just had a ratatouille quiche that was tdf. And the staff is happy, and that makes the place feel like you're welcome there. So important!! I will be back next trip for sure.

Excellent coffee - one of the best coffees in Paris. Freshly squeezed juices, in love with their yoghurt with roasted muesli and fruits - really healthy. Nice friendly staff. Highly recommended; a small but vibrant cafe for true coffee lovers.

By far this is my favorite coffee shop in Paris! I spent the past two months trying out coffee shops with quality taste. You have found it! This place is a must, you need to try this place out for sure. If you really care about the taste of the coffee bean, this is your place. Every week they have a different espresso from all over the world. This place is a treasure spot, with amazing coffee and serves lunch too. I tried their 1/3 bowl and soup combo, which was delicious. The ambience is cozy, good working or study spot, as well as catching coffee with a friend. The staff are so nice! Top notch in Paris!

Love the place ! The cortado is really good ! But try to avoid weekends. Place is crowded, service turns from nice to unpleasant. The owner makes u feel not welcome and hopes u drink ur coffee and leave quickly for others to come :( And of course, no laptop allowed on the week ends !

Very cute coffee shop on a quiet small street. We've been there a couple of times and enjoyed our coffee and desert. We'd give it a 5 if not because of the owner who doesn't present a welcoming manner towards the customers.

I write this to you, my dear reader, back at my desk at this soul crushing 9-5 job hoping,…read moredreaming, wishing of having one last Motors Coffee run on our Paris trip. It was head and shoulders our favorite coffee shop in the City of Light, and we lowkey made our rounds. It's a small shop, but filled to the brim with life and passion. I'm normally not a pastry guy, but if I lived anywhere near Motors I would absolutely be a pastry guy. The cinnamon roll was light and delicate, as opposed to the overly sweet and dense ones I'm used to. We also got a vanilla pastry they were testing, and a sugar cookie with milk chocolate drizzled on top. Ugh, take me back, inject these into my veins. I got my goto hot black coffee, and you could taste the freshness of the beans. My girlfriend got a latte that had the most beautiful little flower art on it. How do they even do that? I'm proud of myself, as I knew even when we were sitting in here enjoying our pastries, hot coffees, and each other's company that this was a moment I would look back on and cherish. It's always great knowing it's one of those moments when you're actually in it. You can fully appreciate it. My one regret is that I didn't get the ladies name serving us, as she was so sweet, recommended great pastries, and was just a pleasant human being. They don't make em like sis anymore... The caffeine was much needed since we were going to be at the Louvre for a couple of hours. I started off with an Expresso Martini which was very good and yes this is how it is spelled here and I like that because that is how I always pronounce it. With our drinks our waiter even brought us out fresh olives. Now I'm not the biggest fan but Ashley very much enjoyed it. There was a lot on the menu that I was interested in and they had a number of different cuts of beef but I had to go with the Whole Duck Breast which is also a French classic which I got cooked medium rare but I'm perfect sure that's how they suggest it which is the right way like they do with all their beef too. Ashley and I also split the French Onion Soup. I will say by Duck was very good. Tasty rich sauce with crispy duck skin cooked perfectly. Some of the best duck I have had in awhile. I will say the French Onion Soup though was a little bland. I just didn't have that rich beef broth I am used too. Beside that everything was very good and would for sure recommend going to Café Blanc for a nice menu which amazing French options.

We spoke to a lady who was American but moved to Paris years ago. She recommended the chocolate hazelnut which changed her life. So us fat kids sampled the 6 flavors which the girl brought us inside the business to give us the samples. I then told her large she gave me extra large with 5 scoops. We got lemon ice, coffee gelato, chocolate chip, chocolate hazelnut and the chocolate fondue. Everything was delicious. But I think we were gelatoed out and the lemon ice was amazing ! Everything was good but the lemon stood out. It was just more refreshing as we walked Disney Paris all day then walked from metro to the stores. Then we met the store owner who was really sweet and we chatted for a bit and then said hey do you want something to go? I said no it's ok and then she said here have more lemon ice. My wife and I destroyed that as well. She was so sweet. She said it doesn't make you fat since it's just water and sugar and fresh lemon. I said yeah it will lol. I'd come back.
