    Latte and a cortado
    Tammie W.

Simply the best at what they do. Motors is a bustling little coffee shop taking the time to craft quality, well made drinks for their customers. They have a solid menu, a few pour over options, tasty looking pastries when you walk in, and seating inside and out. The hubby and I took a seat outside and enjoyed a latte and cortado which were perfectly balanced, creamy, and delicious. The shop itself gives off coffee shop vibes and everyone working there was chill, friendly, and in the groove. We bought a box of beans to take back the stares, which did not disappoint and makes me long to go back to their Paris shop.

A delightful cafe - popular for a good reason. Think of a great French wine but now it is a delightful mocha or coffee. The coffee beans are smooth single source from Columbia. The chocolate is also very special and high quality. The mocha was like a complex wine..the flavors unveiled itself slowly with each sip The food on offer looks so tempting from vegan banana bread- chocolate or simple. Seats inside and outside. Please note like many French shops this is a small business. Respect their rules. No outside food. Be mindful - many seats outside and some inside. A water station inside too. If you are a frequent patron o quire about their frequent punch card.

Accurately hyped! The entire experience is a 10/10. Limited seating, but it's very communal. The baristas are very well informed and provided so much detail on their services. The banana bread is very good.

    Cinnamon Roll

I stopped by Motors Coffee on a friend's recommendation, and it did not disappoint. I'm usually not a fan of cinnamon rolls--they're often too sweet or dense--but the one here was warm, delicate, and just the right amount of sweetness. It paired perfectly with a well-made latte. I also picked up a lighter at the counter, and the guy at the register threw in some free stickers, which was a really nice touch. The service was friendly and quick. You can relax inside the cozy shop or enjoy the laid-back outdoor seating with a view of Paris life passing by.

This place had really good coffee and pastries. The first time I got a flat white and a vanilla cinnamon roll just out of the oven. It was so good. The second time I went I got the pain perdu. It was huge and gooey and had a crystallized sugar top (kind of like a crème brûlée top). The place is really small with not a ton of seats but it has a good atmosphere and nice staff.

A very cool coffee shop in a busy area. Great tasting latte and motors offers a variety of sweets options from cinnamon buns to banana bread and basque cheesecake. their latte is very smooth and not bitter/sour at all. Staffs are friendly and do speak English :) Seating is casual with metal chairs and wooden tables on the streets. people love to sit outside and chat - lovely vibe as this reminds me of coffee culture back home in Hanoi.

Came by for coffee the other day and it was a world class experience. Ordered a latte from the staff behind the counter and they took payment via NFC card. They had both indoor and outdoor seating area along with free Wifi. Password is available from the staff! There is also a toilet in the basement. The latte itself was excellent. Temperature was perfect, along with the latte art. The espresso was very smooth and the foam was also excellent. They do have a sign prohibiting laptops though! 5 Euro for a latte.

They were super nice, spoke English and the coffee was so tasty. I also got a slice of banana cake. Fresh and moist. Extra points for having Oat milk.

The carrot cake is to die for! Best coffee we've had in Paris!

Seeking a unique coffee experience (and some good espresso after a morning at the Musée d'Orsay),…read morewe set out to try the oldest coffee roaster in Paris, Cafe Verlet. I immediately knew I was in the right place when we arrived - the cafe appeared as if it were in a snapshot from another era. From the window, I spotted an impressive display of jewel-toned jellied fruits and a coffee counter where you could purchase fresh beans and jams. The cozy seating area had a few tables set close together, and we were fortunate to be seated at the last open table. I ordered the cafe au lait, and my mom ordered the cafe glacé. The cafe au lait was brought out in an espresso mug and a pot of steamed milk - this way, you could add the desired amount of milk to your espresso. The espresso tasted smooth, and the milk was whipped to the perfect cloud-like consistency. I also tried a sip of my mom's cafe glacé, which was sweet and refreshing (the iced option also comes with a side of simple syrup). As a finishing touch, each beverage was delivered with a small square of chocolate. While pricier than a coffee at a typical cafe, this was one of the best cafe au lait I have ever tasted and worth every Euro. After savoring our coffee, we tried a few of the jellied fruits, which were sweet as honey and very decadent. We agreed that this was one of the coolest coffee experiences, as it truly felt like taking a journey back in time.

It's a very cozy shop like most Parisian restaurants so be prepared to sit inches next to your neighbor. My husband ordered the cafe allonge (Americano) which was served with a double shot of espresso and hot water on the side. I ordered a noisette (macchiato) which was perfect and beautifully made. Since it was the first bite of the day, he ordered the slice of toasted brioche with butter and homemade jam, while I ordered the bread basket with butter and jam. Their jam was amazing and grape I think, based on the seeds, color, and light taste. The butter was served warm with one small baguette of white and a square ciabatta roll that tasted like wheat. They sell jams, honey, cookies, coffee beans, and teas to go, and are in no hurry to rush you out of there. Enjoy the drinks, relax, and take your time.

I started off with an Expresso Martini which was very good and yes this is how it is spelled here and I like that because that is how I always pronounce it. With our drinks our waiter even brought us out fresh olives. Now I'm not the biggest fan but Ashley very much enjoyed it. There was a lot on the menu that I was interested in and they had a number of different cuts of beef but I had to go with the Whole Duck Breast which is also a French classic which I got cooked medium rare but I'm perfect sure that's how they suggest it which is the right way like they do with all their beef too. Ashley and I also split the French Onion Soup. I will say by Duck was very good. Tasty rich sauce with crispy duck skin cooked perfectly. Some of the best duck I have had in awhile. I will say the French Onion Soup though was a little bland. I just didn't have that rich beef broth I am used too. Beside that everything was very good and would for sure recommend going to Café Blanc for a nice menu which amazing French options.
