It happened twice 2 separate times, and they had to send the same repairman out twice to replace the side boards bc my bed was half on the floor. When it happened again to the other side, the repairman said he had many problems with my original set and he suggested to me to buy a totally different one. When I spoke to management they recommended the same thing, replacing my original set. I did replace my original set with a totally different new one and different style.it cost me another $300. So far I haven't had any problems. I had to go through customer service multiple times to fix my issues which bothered me. My set was under warranty. Once I got my new bedroom set things have been fine, no problems. I went in to Bob's this time in person looking for a living room area rug. I was greeted immediately by a nice salesman. Unfortunately bc I went 2 days after Black Friday, the selection wasn't that great and couldn't find what I needed. The store was filled with many different styles and types of furniture. Bob's coordinates sofas, love seats, recliners with an area rug and accessories. It's nice to walk around and get ideas. Bob's claim they're having a sale. I feel like they mark things up to mark them down. I have bought high-quality furniture over the years and paid a premium, but that furniture has lasted me and is still in great shape. I guess you get what you pay for. If you're looking for furniture on a budget then Bob's is your place. Just make sure you know exactly what you're buying. .

After returning home I decided the one I had was very similar. Same day went back to the store an hour later but Janeen refused to take it back, even though she could clearly see the package had not been opened. Very rude and unpleasant. Shop where customer service is good. When you buy something they are pushing to sell you they don't tell you it is a final sale. Same thing happened with friends who bought a mattress but were unhappy with the firmness, a week later Janeen refused to exchange it for a different one saying the store policy does not cover "comfort" exchanges. Any mattress store will give you at least 30 days. The good reviewers will realize this when down the road they experience a problem with their purchase.

Shopping at Craig's is an experience. A very New York City experience…read more Having previously purchased a mattress online and having to return it because I hated it, I didn't want to go through that experience again. I stopped by a few mattress shops in the city, but they were very small and many just carried the major online brands that were non-traditional mattresses (memory foam, no coils). A google search brought me to Craig's: a lot of glowing Yelp reviews, Google reviews, and a New Yorker article describing this "speakeasy" mattress shop. Given that Craig's is located right by my office, I made an appointment online. As others have mentioned, be prepared that Craig's is located on the second floor of an office building and that your appointment will be 1:1. Craig will ask you what kind of mattress you like, cut a piece of cloth for you, and place it on various mattresses as you try them. You never feel rushed or pressured. He IS chatty, so be prepared for that too. I tried many mattresses and ultimately found a mattress that I liked and placed an order (the first one that he showed me!). Fast forward to the day before delivery. I had told Craig I was moving in the morning and would need the mattress to come after noon, but when I got my delivery window it was the first one in the morning. He called the delivery company and they wanted to schedule it for the evening, but he correctly pointed out that because I was in a doorman building they might not let the delivery people up in the evening. He gave me two options: he would go meet them at my building in the morning and let them in OR he would come in the evening and help bring it up to my apartment if they wouldn't let the delivery people up. What? This is a crazy level of service. He also must have spent an hour on the phone between talking to me and the delivery company trying to figure this all out. It turned out my building was able to let them in without Craig being present, but his wilingness to go so far and beyond will not be forgotten by me!

Craig spent a lot of time with us and gave us the opportunity to try out different beds. We found a bed we liked and told him that we were going to go comparison shopping before making a decision. He advised us to go to Macy's which has the best selection. He never pressured us to buy. We did go to Macy's plus one other store but ultimately decided that Craig had the best bed for the best price. We appreciated the time he took and the no-pressure approach. We now have our new bed and are totally thrilled with it. I highly recommend Craig as he knows his stuff and gives you the time and space to comfortably come to a decision.

There was absolutely NO HASSLE in getting a credit for the mattress and using it to buy my new (and now beloved) Temur-pedic. They really stand behind their products, but more importantly, they stand behind their word. The guys were really nice about it all, treated me fairly and honestly and without a hint of the used-car-salesperson approach you find so much of nowadays. Even the delivery men went above and beyond the scope of their job to make me happy. They were very respectful of my place and had a clean, professional and kind manner. He delivers alone, I suspect, and is quite capable of doing all the work himself, but since you got a good deal on your new mattress, it would be nice to help him if you can (these are MY thoughts btw) He also takes the old mattress and box spring to dispose of, which costs about $35, same as our township, but I don't have to drag it out on big trash day. If any of the big places say they take your old mattress away for free, it isn't true. It has been two weeks since our purchase. I wanted to wait to see how my son liked it. He loves it.
